Does anyone have any idea what the best enchantments to use are? I've been stealing/buying all items that are enchanted to disenchant them and learn em but I dont think I have the best yet.

Personally I think that are enchantments that give you bonus health or an weapon type for your preference, one-handed, two-handed, or if you are an mage type, enchantments that give extra magica, oh and don't forget to learn enchantments that cause extra damage to health.

Unfortunatelly, I can't bring myself to desenchant an item because they make such good money.

Depdends on your playstyle and enchantment perks. I usually have gauntlets that boost one-handed, armor that boosts heavy armor, boots that enhance my carry weight, a few rings and necklaces that boost elemental resistance, one handed, heavy armor and carry weight. Using stronger soul gems+ Enchantment perks make them stronger. I also have an Amulet of Talos that reduces my Shout recharge by 20% that I use when fighting dragons.

I'm also using Clavicus's Masque that enhance my speech/prices and magicka regen.

For weapons, I'm using Dragonbane, a Blades sword you can find at Sky Haven temple that does 30 extra damage to dragons+ some shock damage, a sword that has fire damage, and a sword that has a soul trap enchantment. So, you can see, I'm geared towards weapons/elemental damage and protection.

You can make more money if you disenchant something. Such as a helmet that allows you breath underwater (700 Septims) Then enchanting all those worthless rings and trinkets with it and increasing the price by 100-200 Septims. ( I Have loads of enchanted bling bling)

Yeah I did that for a while and then it seemed pointless. I counted last night. I have 500 filled soul gems in my house and over 100,000 gold. Now it's just pointless.

Yeah, it gets pointless if you have that much money. Makes it easier to earn money at low levels though.

Is it in the cemetery? You may've unknowingly started the quest Blood on the Ice or something like that.

Or it's a bug.

No, I didn't started this quest yet, but I at least know that the killer goes only after females, and besides, his corpse was close to the slum entrance.

Okay, I have a question: I've done three partial playthroughs (I keep downloading mods that won't work with the current playthrough, so I have to start over if I want to use them), and been married in each of them. When you get married, where the heck does your wife go? She vanishes before I have a chance to talk with her and tell her where I want us to live, and I have to cheat (console-command myself over to her) to find her again, and she's inevitably trying to make some sort of mountain crossing through the snowy landscape.

You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

Really? In my game, I have a chance to talk to her since she walks towards the exit, then walks out the door and I can either talk to her inside the temple or just outside.

If not, she'll inevitably be in her home city.

Or killed by one of Skyrim's fabulous indigenous wildlife. I think your console command thing works better.

Maybe the mods makes her disappear? *shrug*

I wanted to talk about the thing of the civil war, I found surprising how much people on forums are hating on Ulfric, I mean really, I personally think he is one of the most honorable and charismatic characters in the whole game, and while it's true that he is bigoted to some extent, it's not enough reason to dismiss his character so much. For example, people acuse him of being an murder for killing the high king, but how can an one to one combat be considered murder? Besides people on the game said the king accepted Ulfric challange in first place. Some people even go out of their way to compare him to Hitler, but did Ulfric mass murdered any non-nord race? Did he even caused any harm to them? Ulfric simply don't give atention to non-nord races living in Skyrim, and while this is something that I personally disagree, it's not enough of an reason to call him an unforgivable racist. He is ignorant and that's diferent. Besides, I think the Empire is really deporable, the way they want to dominate Skyrim without caring what the people living in there think about it. How they are trying to drag Skyrim to their problems that they got themselfs into, how they became the Thalmor watchdogs, and when I went to Solitude, and saw that guy being executed, I thought, "that's it the Empire is gonna burn!"

Besides, I think this scene shows how Ulfric is not all about mindless fighting, but also, someone who truly cares for the people he leads:

He's also short-sighted. Skyrim is one of the last few strongholds of the Empire. He's fighting for the Nords, sure, but the fact that the Dark Elves were basically forced into their slum area in Windhelm isn't a good indicator of his rule. His replacement does better, talking to the Dark Elves and representing them.

Also, he fails to realize that the Imperials are the only ones barely holding back the Aldmeri Dominion. In fact, several NPCs remark that the Dominion is just a sleeping beast waiting to wake up. Ulfric doesn't seem to realize that. Add to the fact that the Thalmor Dossier found on him shows that they practically brainwashed him, it means Ulfric himself is a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. Hell, it's not the Empire's fault that Skyrim's way of life is threatened, no one really paid attention to Ulfric and the Stormcloaks until they raised such a fuss about the whole Talos issue. As Alvor says (If you chose the Hadvar after being freed), "Everyone had a little shrine of Talos in their homes, but when Ulfric and his army started to explode over it, the Imperials basically got stricter."

Don't forget, the only way the Imperials would prevent the Aldmeri Dominion from overrunning every human, Khajiit, Argonian, and non-Altmer was to forge the White-Gold Concordat.

They're the real Nazis, not Ulfric. Ulfric's just narrow-minded. He cares about his people, yes, but only his people, the Nords. To him, every other races can go to Oblivion.

Whenever he states 'My People,' he is always referring to Nords, never anyone else.

For what I understood, the Dark Elves live in there because they refused to support Ulfric cause, so they can't just expect be honorable citizens of Windhelm without giving some loyalty back, so if they are going to ignore Ulfric cause, Ulfric will ignore them.

About the Aldmeri, let them come, at least the nords have the balls to face them, the empire is broken, so they have to kneel down to the Thalmor like slaves, but Skyrim is an prosperous land, if Ulfric can unite Skyrim, they can make an imposing force against the mer.

Enope. The Thalmor were able to rip the Empire in half. High Rock, Skyrim, and Cyrodiil are really the only provinces left. Hammerfell was given away by the Empire, which is probably one of their worse decisions, and Morrowind is not much more than a smoldering ruin. Ulfric is a sleeping Thalmor agent. Sure it would protect Skyrim, and that is a maybe. Once the Thalmor take over the Empire, who is to say they won't turn their attention to Skyrim? Skyrim would have no chance.
