I'm kinda the same as well, I do worry too much and can dwell on the negative. So I do understand where Hachiken is coming from.

Just as well that Hachiken has awesome friends, like I do.

I just really like the characters of Silver Spoon, and it feels like a relaxing break from the usual fight-heavy mangas I read.

Hachiken needs to stop deleting other people's photos. I loved his reaction after he heard the date was still on. XD

It's good to see that Hachiken will take Komaba's advice, and hopefully Komaba will do well at the baseball match!

Hachiken still has real issues with his family, and ignoring his mother won't help. I'm glad that he's starting to think that maybe he needs to do something.

Ah, the Yugo/Aki fluff in this chapter. XD

I couldn't help but notice that Aki really wanted to be alone with Hachiken at the shrine, so it's not just because of the horse-shaped ema.

Awww, at least Arakawa didn't end in a gripping cliffhanger like she was prone to do in FMA.

Also, interesting observation on page 10, when Hachiken made that face towards Mikage, with that smile and his thumb and pointer finger under his chin.

In Philippines, we call the addition of the thumb and pointer finger under the chin to be called "Pogi points," with pogi being tagalog for handsome. It's pretty much kinda required if you're a young boy and you're taking a picture. You go for "Pogi points."

Otherwise, I have no idea why Mikage started chasing Hachiken afterwards. XD

I forgot all about that accent part. I bet that's exactly what it is.

I like how she illustrates all the baseball players. Stocky, thick-necked and a tight economy of lines for their expression. They all look the same. Exactly how real baseball players look. Such a good manga. And I loved the little meta bit when Hachiken was wobbling and saying it must be how those anime characters felt, then someone mentioned a gundam. Sort of a joke at her own industry.
