In some weird way, if he does become a wandering monk, I'm kinda hoping he'd be blind like Homer when he told the Iliad. You know end the cycle of the Sharingan altogether.

I was supposed to saved this prediction (Sasuke will suffer for the rest of life due to blindness) until officially near the end of the series. Oh well, there's the second consequence I won't explain until the end anyway.

What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!

Then what of Kakashi's sharingan? Anyway I really think Sasuke will redeem himself by dying. I think Naruto will succeed in making Sasuke turn away from the path of vengeance but I don't see him returning to Konoha. Naruto also has to experience some failures since he has been defying odds everytime and getting what he wants. This way at least its not a full failure since he managed to save Sasuke from being truly evil. One big failure would improve his character if he would become a great Hokage one day. Everyone including great people make mistakes sometime in their life. Naruto would reflect on this mistake when he's protecting the village as Hokage.

That's different, Kakashi can't make Sharingan.

@Derock

Does it have anything to do with Kishi's love with Dragonball and decides to pay homage by blowing up the moon?
Or that....wait I minute...Oh, I think I figured that out.

...
No. This has nothing to homages or blowing up the moon (although, knowing Kishimoto, I think we will see some of that, probably when the battle of Madara commences).
But, I still won't say anything. The second half of my prediction of Sasuke's fate will be sealed until after the war and supposely after the Naruto Vs. Sasuke round 3.

A side note - usually, if I have to quickly describe the story Naruto to someone who does not know about this manga - it does happen a LOT to me, not because the manga is not popular in my country but because of my age group.........yeah, almost all of my age group look at me (Us, including my husband) as if we are some batsh*t crazy loonies to be still watching/reading mangas

The story is set in ancient feudal Lords eras, it's about Ninja world in a ninja village, and there is this orphaned hero in which a demon is sealed, who is very powerful but very simple minded and has God-like aptitude of bringing out the best in people and never gives up, and he loves a girl who loves his best friend but the best friend does not return her feelings, and the best friend leaves the village to seek out power to avenge his familly which was murdered over night and slowly turns into evil, and the hero make a pledge to become stronger to get back his friend, and everybody tells him that he cannot bring back his evil turned friend but he still persist despite what everyone tells him and despite the fact that the friend has tried to kills him twice and then there is a super villain who wants the world gets in the scene and lures the best friend with him...
At this point, most of the times the person or persons to which I have summarised the story tells me: well, of course the hero will be able to bring back his friend, if you say he never gives up and has worked hard to get stronger to get his friend back. If it is emphasized that he NEVER gives up, then the story will prove that he really NEVER gives up, and the best friend will work with him to bring down the super villain and girl will love the hero in the end and they will be the closest trio ever...
So, let me cling to this fantasy for the time being at least.

He's already accepted that Sasuke is an enemy he must fight, but he'll destroy the cycle of revenge with Sasuke's death

Well, Naruto already knows he can't bring back Sasuke, he said it himself, in this chapter: http://www.mangafox....52/c486/15.html

That's a totally different interpretation that I have from that statement.
Naruto says he HAS NOT GIVEN UP on Sasuke, and he'll fight him to make him understand because it's the only way Sasuke will understand - talk is not having any effect on him. (I also feels that it's only after defeating Sasuke will Naruto's word reach him.)
And Naruto says he is ready to DIE with Sasuke, not just to kill Sasuke !

So? That doesn't change anything really.
1. "This is worthless NONSENSE."
2. "This is an interesting, but perverse, point of view..."
3. "True, but quite unimportant."
4. "I ALWAYS SAID SO!"

Back from the dead. It's a shame what happened. NaruSaku will live on.

You're missing the big part of that page, Naruto hasn't given up on Sasuke, but he's done talking to Sasuke. He still has hope on Sasuke's redemption, but Naruto's not gonna let that stop him from killing Sasuke in defense of Konoha. Naruto also realizes that when they do fight, it's most likely going to end in both of their deaths. Either way, it still ends with Sasuke's death, not him continuing on living. Oh jeez, I hope that's not what happens....
Although, to be honest... Only Susano'o can pretty much help him against Naruto.

naruto better not die!! he needs to live. sasuke can die alone! (i still want both to live though)
now that i think about it. if naruto's only option is that they both die in battle wouldn't the only thing to counter that is both them living?

I've probably missed something but Naruto die? Yea, right. Even if he does, he'll probably be brought back to life within 2-3 chapters by whatever miracle.

... I remember that, and? Naruto isn't some psychic, yes they're going to fight. But he's not going to die, if he does it won't be for an extended period, it's basically a given.
