Bumping to give my thoughts on it,

The conclusion (of the manga) could be what might happen, an epic battle between Naruto and that one dude, will end with him fake dying (Naruto that is, and before you know it, he wakes up seeing his best friend and the woman he loves and she embraces him, awww that's a good ending.

I wasnt saying that they were going to make another series. I meant her baby was a symbol for the next generation of ninja.

I agree with that. Note that the red in the end is not the same Sharingan's characteristic red . It is a more open red, resembling blood.

This may mean the end of an era of blood (marked by war and fighting Sasuke x Naruto) and the beginning of a new generation...

Recalling that in a recent flashback of Naruto in the manga (made after the OVA). He remembers the scene where he and Sasuke cross their fingers. Exactly as shown in the OVA. And this scene was never shown before. Kishi might want to remember us for pay attention to the OVA.

I might be thinking of a different scene, but I'm pretty sure they cross fingers during the VoTE fight, during the whole "Curse Mark Chidori/Kyuubi Rasengan Black Dome of Childhood Memories" technique. But you might have a point, Kishi's bringing that back into the manga much like the OVA did. I guess we'll find out soon whether or not that OVA is going to happen in the plot.
My only problem with that fight happening in the manga, though, is why is Sasuke not using EMS, and why is Naruto not using his RS technique? It's just Sharingan vs. Sage Mode in the OVA. That fight could have easily happened during the Iron Country fight. I guess he might be trying to avoid spoilers for people who don't read the manga, but then I'm curious why it shows Kabutomaru and Madara with a Rinnegan in one eye.

Sasuke did have his MS activate if you look closely, but without Naruto activating RS mode, this kinda loses it's final battle feel. Still it does give a few possible hints to the Ninja universe. I just hate that SasuSaku fans think that the baby sound at the end signifies the two of them getting together and having a child...Real Sense right there

LOL, that's a big jump in logic. Especially considering, oh I don't know, the fact that Sakura was practically Spider-Man-kissing Naruto.

But that baby sound is weird though. It could be a metaphor for something that I can't figure out, but I'm wondering if it's a reference to the Kyuubi attack. But I guess that one sound effect's already been debated to death on this thread.

Sooooo, any interesting updates on what this mean, where its gonna end up in terms of canon, and if they are gonna show a full length movie on this because I could really use a new narusaku moment, right now, after being bone dry for a good while.

OH YEAH! It's SO OBVIOUS that she and Sasuke will make a baby together while she was ONLY showing her relief and affection to Naruto that makes desert mirages MAKE SENSE

Yup that is exactly what i thought of the baby sound at the end. I feel as if that sound was like a new sharingan being born AKA EMS. What gives me this thoery is how it shows Sasuke's MS then Itachi's MS and it's like they get mixed together to make one whole EMS sharingan.

that's what EMS is...look at Madara's and then look at his younger brother's MS
