Someone said a while back there may be some cracks appearing in the alliance a little later on. The only thing I can think of is Iwagakure finding out Naruto's identity and thus causing a rift in the alliance.

I don't think there will be any cracks, especially from Iwagakure because of what Onoki had said to Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi after he left the meeting from the Iron Country, saying "he doesn't want to make more mistakes like he did in the past."

Anyways, the point of Naruto dying, I'm currently having that argument with a friend at school. And I'm trying to say that it won't happen that way because this is suppose to be a story with a happy ending with a few parts left in mystery, not end it with a tragedy, especially towards main character whose name is the title of the story.

I guess so, but there may be a bit of a fight or something like the Tsuchikage being a bit upset about it. But that's just Oonoki. What about the Iwa Shinobi?? they may have a hard time dealing with the fact that they have to protect the son of their greatest enemy.

Yeah I don't remember who mentioned it but he said that it was going to be the Mizukage who will betray the alliance, but I doubt it. I will have to agree with you Iwa hates and feared Minato for all the stone ninjas he killed during the last war, not to mention that he was the one that ended the war it was the reason why he became the fourth Hokage.

If the Tsuchikage finds out about Naruto being Minato's son there's no way he's going to continue helping Konoha he's not going to help the son of his most hated enemy.

I doubt it would go that far but there may be a rift in the alliance happening soon. But I believe they can resolve it peacefully because of the reasons Derock stated.

@alexander - I doubt it, because even Naruto knows that it's no longer possible. While I'm sure that Sasuke will be saved from the darkness of his hate, I think Naruto is aware now that Sasuke would never be welcome in Konoha again. Team 7 might decide to give him a chance, but I'd doubt anyone else in the village would want him there. And even after being saved, I doubt Sasuke would be completely willing to forgive Konoha (specifically the elders and other members of the council) for the treatment of his clan. With so much animosity surrounding them, I think it might be best for everyone involved if Sasuke and Konoha went their seperate ways for good.

In the end, I believe that Sasuke will be spared death or imprisonment out of both mercy (I believe that Itachi's gift was meant to seal Itachi's eyes if Sasuke ever decided to transplant them and awaken his EMS, leaving him more or less powerless and possibly blind) and out of respect for Naruto's wishes, and be sentenced and cast into exile.

Yeah but here's something, would you rather use your personal opinions/ideas/views etc. in the way while joining in an alliance of peace up against the world's greatest enemies? It will give the opposing team a very huge advantage and they will win the war. As a teammate of nations, you need to leave those personal stuff behind and focus on fighting for a better life. Now for the Iwa Ninja, if that was a certain issue, shouldn't we see some tension already with them and the Konoha ninja? As of now, looks like everyone is ready and saying, "Hi! I'm Earth Nin, I'm your teammate!" "Hey there!" "Let's team up and kill some enemies!" "Yeah!"

Yeah, and think about Tsunade. Her fiance Dan was killed by ninja from another country (Iwa if I'm recalling correctly) and that death traumatized her for years, but is she refusing to work with Earth ninja? Nope. Look at Chiyo even, while she was enraged thinking it was Sakumo. once they got through to her that it was his son Kakashi she calmed down and worked with him with barely a grumble. Iwa ninja are more likely to make mildly mocking comments about how the "Yellow Flash" must have been over rated to have such a son.

I think Grave and a few others have a point though. Sarutobi ordered that the identity of Naruto's parents be kept hidden, to avoid endangering Naruto while he was young and vulnerable. If (though more likey when) Naruto and Onoki meet, the old man's definately going to see a resemblance to Minato, and if Naruto does reveal his lineage, it would be an interesting development, if anything just to see how Onoki takes it, and also see if it does actually cause 'some' tension within the Alliance, particularly among Konoha and Iwa. This actually could form the basis of a future arc, showing how the two men's attitudes towards one another changes over time; from possible animosity and begrudging cooperation, to mutual respect and more friendly/less hostile interaction. Regardless of anything else, this war could end up repairing the relationships between the Alliance members, and help to re-establish old bonds and form new ones.

Sorry, my bad, I expressed myself totally wrong here, I mean, when you said Naruto for sure will have an happy ending, I meant for you not to forget Evangelion, were everything seemed to lead to an good ending and everything finishes with tragedy.

Oh I see what you're saying. But I don't want (and I hope Kishimoto is NOT setting this up) the ending become like Evangelion because that will be too tragic and wasting your main character like that, especially in a very young age.

But of course, I don't want Naruto to end in tragedy neither, I aways wanted to see an ending were Naruto could finally have his own family, so his felling of loneless would never come back again, but I also don't want to put my hopes up, just to suffer a massive letdown later, I guess is a matter of have faith in Kishimoto writing skills.

Anyway, I hardly think this will go the way of Evangelion. For one thing, the characters aren't seriously messed up. But who knows, this might end up a deconstruction of the shonen genre.

Well, you can say so, I guess (and Shadow's OTP, cool! ) I supported for it in the Alpha Movie and II V series. The games, not so much because, well it was basically fighting/action and both admired their fighting styles and spirits to one another, especially in the Alpha series. (Not to mention that they are both iconic in the video game world, they are basically household names for the fighting game genre.)

Isn't the manga about growing change from Naruto? Yes Onoki has a grudge against Minato but he shouldn't think of holding Naruto accountable for his father's sins especially when Naruto wasn't even born yet. Onoki may snoop down low by hiring akatsuki in the past but i don't think he would go that low.

This was the point I was trying to make. Sure the idea looks good for a dramatic effect but right now, it's pointless because all grudges have to step aside in the war before the enemies will use this as an advantage.

I'm afraid that will only happen when Naruto and Sasuke fight again it could be soon in future chapters.
