Yeah it's pretty much the same story with me, and Now I've got my 3DS right here beside me.

 

You can find used 3DSs on Amazon for about $150, they have some for less but they do not have a charger, if you already have DS then that would be a viable option.

 

Yeah I did some research on Amazon, however this is going to be a little harder for me since Brazil has one of the highest importation taxes of the World.

 

A new 3DS here is rating around R$ 700,00 - 800,00 which is equivalent to ~ U$ 322,58 - 368,66. Not to mention our minimum income is revolving around only R$ 700,00 which is exactly the U$ 322,58 or the price of a "cheap" 3DS. Even if I order it from Amazon I'd still have to pay for the importation taxes. There's even a common joke around mentioning how it is cheaper to pay an abroad trip just to buy your merchandise instead of buying it here (or from here). And it is actually a true fact.   

 

Nonetheless I'm still considering some alternative options and so far everything is going fine... I might be able to get 3DS XL cheaper than a regular 3DS sold in Brazil.

 

It will take a while though so I'm not really excited (yet) with the X and Y release.

You could also look into getting a 2DS Nintendo just released, they cost US $129.99, it might be a cheaper option, the only down side is that it can't fold up like the 3DS and as the name suggests it can't show 3D images, but it may be a viable alternative.

Still, it's kind of a bummer to not be able to play it yet.

Just beat the champion, not really a challenge to be honest. I don't see many people having a problem with it. 

 

Also I have the nintendo 2DS and if anyone is looking to get it, I recommend it. It works great, no it does not fold but it is very slim and it is the same size as the regular 3DS when opened.

I'm at the start of victory road, I actually went got to the end yesterday and challenged the first elite four member, and promptly discovered that I need to level up my team more, It also wouldn't hurt to get a few revives and hyper potions.

Guys, there is a report about Pokemon X and Y. Be warn that if you saved outside from Lumiose City on the street your game would be freezes. I just found out in youtube this morning and went up in the forum about Pokemon X and Y problem. It scary to think. I saved my game in Lumiose City just fine. Be careful when you saved in Lumiose City.

I think You can get another torchic when you restart, but for how long I don't know. Let me check. Yeah It's until Next year January 15.

Three new Pokemon have been discovered by a 3DS hacker and while these are unconfirmed they seem to be very likely true.

 

First we have #719 Daincie a Rock/Fairy-Type, next is #720 Volcanion a Fire/Water-Type and next we have #721 Hoppa a Psychic/Ghost-Type

 

As of right now the only thing we can assume about these three are that they may be event Legendaries.

 

 

Also the hacker has uncovered what seems to be New forms for Latias, Latios, and Arceus, these do not appear to be Mega Evolutions as the images of them (in battle against a Fennekin) do not have the Mega Evolution icon beside their names.
