Happy NaruSaku Day everyone!!!

 

I decided to share another poem I wrote to dedicate our love for NS 

 

 

 

You and Me - NaruSaku Poem

 

 

 

remember when the pedals of the cherry blossom

 

 flew through the village 

 

you walked out the door 

 

and there I was eating ramen 

 

it didn’t make any sense as to why 

 

my attention directed towards you 

 

your beautiful laughter 

 

your beautiful smile 

 

the way your eyes sparkled 

 

the way your hair breezed in the wind

 

it didn’t really hit me at point in time

 

even during our days in the academy 

 

not until the day we were assigned a team 

 

when I pretended to be someone else 

 

on the bench with only you by my side 

 

then I came to understand it all 

 

what it was I  felt about you 

 

and from that day I continued 

 

and continued to love you 

 

but then I took glance at your tears 

 

for the other guy and not really me 

 

any normal person would be jealous 

 

which you could say I was at the time 

 

however I knew that deep down 

 

your happiness was more important 

 

and whatever the cause it was for you 

 

even we had grown closer and closer 

 

as time passed like the changing seasons 

 

and eventually after the village was saved 

 

you were the first to have embrace me in 

 

your arms as the cherry blossoms breezed

 

between just the two of us

 

and when the war ended I finally did it 

 

I brought him back to you after so long 

 

what you had always wanted since then 

 

it was another thing I hadn’t picked up on 

 

I was sure my promise our promise would work

 

but whatever you felt at that point was different 

 

my brain was instantly went off in confusion 

 

when you had decided to let him go 

 

and decided to talk with me by the bench 

 

where we both reminisced about that day 

 

how you reflected the way you were then 

 

compared to the woman you’ve become 

 

It was then I decided to reveal the secret

 

that was kept from you since that time 

 

when I pretended to be that other guy 

 

at first I knew you would really hate me

 

but I was also surprised that you accepted

 

knowing the guy you really liked was me 

 

I knew from that point what this sight meant

 

our first meeting our sight as a couple and 

 

of course my proposal to you for a lifetime 

 

 

as we live together  as husband and wife 

 

with our twins Shinachiko and Sachiko, 

 

and our little daughter Hanami Uzumaki

 

and I wouldn’t have it any other way without you

no way I'd miss doing one of these for a special occasion.. you guessed it a new NaruSaku poem

 

 

Eternal Oath - NaruSaku Poem 

 

  Do you remember my oath to you from childhood 

how I couldn’t do anything, but cry as you tried aimlessly

because of what I felt for him for so long 

in spite of your own feelings for me 

my smile is all that mattered to you

yet when you returned alone it only left me with disappointment 

even so you still kept our oath for a lifetime

I should’ve realized just how much it affected you 

how it triggered that inner power before your senses vanished

I couldn’t just stand by for you to suffer like that any longer 

even when your master died in battle I could sense it again 

and when it was all said and done I scolded you due to that recklessness 

but, all that mattered to me by that point was your safety 

I realized then just how much you meant to me 

how I wouldn’t just let you die after all we’ve been through

 please hear my oath one more time

when everything has finally settled 

I’ll be the one waiting for you 

 

 

so that our lives will have a new beginning.
