Two things I learned from this chapter.

1. Kushina was not going to die from the 9-tails being taken out of her. She seemed to only die from the low chakra. This either because of her special chakra or because it is possible to remove the kyuubi without killing the host. Point for the future? Many have already suggested it and it is possible so hold on to that.

2. Tailed-creatures can be brought back from the dead...somehow. Kushina said that she will take the 9-tails back and die which will bring the the 9-tails with her "for a while" she said. Minato also said that he doesn't want to risk that because it can be brought back to life and without a host, it will be bad. So the tailed-beasts can not really "die."

Madara seems to be like Sasuke a little. Anyone notice? He hasn't really "killed" anyone. He gains all this power, but he is always underpowered by someone better. (1st Hokage, Minato, etc). The "deaths" he supposedly caused was either because of a third source like the Nine-tails killing people, or the other party sacrifices themselves in some way. I think the only one Madara really killed was his best friend.

Hell, Naruto has a bigger body count than Madara and he is a good guy.

Yeah, Sasuke did kill them Samurai and Madara has killed tons during the First Great Ninja War including responsible for Kushina's death. As for Naruto, he's only killed wanted mercenary ninja in the past but now he likely won't do it if he can find a peaceful solution, like with Nagato.

OK been buggiong me for the past day but do you think the reason the Third Hokage didn't want the Fourth to be revived during his fight with Orichimaru was not just because of his strength, but also because it would release the other half of Kyuubi's power back on the earth? Don't know for certain how his death revival jutsu works, but if it summoned the soul from the underworld as well then wouldn't the Kyuubi's power come with it?

@James Cassidy, how can you say Naruto has a bigger body count than Mdara, he hasn't killed anyone to date, not unless you count Kakuza and it was Kakashi that destroyed his final heart effectively killing him, before that he was still alive, barely. And did you forget the Anbu and the Nurse and Third's Wife he killed before he attached the explosive tags on Naruto's blanket?

I thought it used other people's souls in clay corpse that resembled the Kages. I just don't think the jutsu can get through the death god seal.
