I really wish there were for fics about this ship. Yeah, I know Naruto's dream and all, but just because he dreams of it, doesn't mean crazy circumstances can't happen to where Sakura gets the title instead.

It's funny you mention that. I actually was thinking along the lines of writing a story or issuing a challenge to others where Naruto gets really badly injured, effectively ruining his ninja career, and Sakura decides to work towards being Hokage instead lol

umm.. I actually dont think sbe's that powerful yet. I am pretty sure that if kakashi were to fight her without restraints, he would win. Gai too.

She is a great medic, not a great warrior. And the hokage is the strongest in the village.But ff, so anything is possible .

I know Sakura is not the strongest, however she had plenty of elements to her design, that could have made her a lot more powerful, than Kishi did because he's sexist. Sakura could have developed her genjutsu, which was always stated to be high and at the beginning of part two, stated to be one of the factors, that would make her more powerful than Tsunade, but we know how that went.

 

There's also the fact that Sakura could gain Slug Sage Mode, which was hinted at by Tsunade at some point. If Sakura had gained those, she could have been on much more equal footing with the boys, not counting handed over powers from the sage, and she most likely could have taken on Kakashi and won.

 

Sakura as hokage, would never be allowed in kishi's manga, just used as a joke. However, in the hands of someone that actually gave a kitten about all the characters, Sakura could be one of the best in the series, in terms of power and characterization. I've said it before, but Kishi's execution sucks hard. He gives Sakura all the elements to become powerful, all the reasons to move on from Sasuke, and all the steps needed to show her breaking away from her 12 year old weak fangirl self, but the way he carried out with those things, were mediocre half the time, causing her development to fluctuate.

 

If Sakura had realized her full potential, I think she could have been a good choice for Hokage, cause she had everything necessary to be one, they just weren't utilized properly.

Me as well. I don't mind people who like it, but I just don't care for it.

I used to like some m/m couples, but then yaoi fangirls made me hate yaoi. They just won't stop at anything...

 

Also some people call SaiSaku, KakaSaku, ChoIno, etc. a crack ship... But these aren't crack ships at all? I thought that the definition of a crack ship is a pairing that involves people who either hate each other and/or had little to no interaction with each other like SasuSaku and NaruHina.

 

Anyway, here are my fav crack pairings:

 

Gaara x Sakura - result of a silly out-of-character RP with my friend, so I basically ship it only with these OOC versions of both characters.

Toneri x Hinata - the NH shippers are oh-so-salty just because this ships exists and has a very small fan base. I understand them feeling threatened by NS, but by a crack ship like TH? It's pretty pathetic.

Sasuke x Hinata - like I said before, I ship them in a childhood friends AU. They'd be the sweetest couple ever if Sauce remained as nice as he was as a child! +They look great together lol.

Sai x Hinata - because they would be so much fun, just thinking about the ridiculousness of their possible interactions puts a smile on my face. Also both Hinata and Sai lack social skills in their own ways. This one works as a broship too.

Gaara x Matsuri - sorry, I can't help it, I like the fangirl/boy x her/his idol pairings. Unless you know, the idol is abusive towards the fan...

Kakuzu x Tsunade - the money, baby! And their arguments would be epic.

 

I'd add SuiKarin, but I'm not sure if it's crack. I mean yeah, they bicker a lot...But it's rather a strongly tsundere-ish dislike than a real one imho.

Anyway, I really love SuiKarin!
