Especially considering Kishi said he never really thought resolving any of them originally.
Now like I said I'm more worried about NS ending disappointingly than an open-ending. Unless we get a confirmation that Sakura actually chooses Naruto over Sasuke, i'll find it disappointing

Am i the only one that actually considers Sakura's infatuation with AU Sasuke during Road to Ninja and Road to Charasuke to actually be a good thing overall?
The fact that she gets giddy by this fake idealized Sasuke shows just how superficial her romantic feelings for Sasuke are. It's proof that whatever real love she has for Sasuke it's not related to the romantic, but a desire of camaraderie.
Sakura's misconceptions of love are a weakness of her character, and I think a good job was done here showing it as such. Sakura's feelings for AU Sasuke didn't go beyond being a happy girl because a pretty boy is paying attention to her. That's it, that's all it really was.
I would agree except we have several moments that prove it goes beyond simple fangirling, she actually does love him which has been noted by both Naruto and Karin (despite Karin not knowing anything about Sakura). She was willing to sacrifice her life for him when Gaara attacked, when he was in a coma she visisted him every single day according to Tsunade and has been shown to beyond simple crush as noticed and stated by Naruto during the retrieval arc.
Which don't get me wrong isn't a good trait for her character, she fell in love with Sasuke and has an unkillable love for him because he's a pretty boy who acts cool, who she later grew to sympathize with and worry about despite the fact that Sasuke treated her like crap. As a sidenote I also hate it when the anime and omakes take liberty with her part 1 character traits and make her fangirl over Sasuke for the sake of comedy.
You double posted.

Uh hmm, more or less agree with you. Her infatuation/love for Sasuke is not good for her. But I think she likes the Sasuke which she pictured him to be and NOT the real Sasuke. If I am not wrong, she had/has a completely different picture ofKind of interesting that the Naruto pairings became as big as they are now.
Especially considering Kishi said he never really thought resolving any of them originally.

Sasuke and she expects him to be like that and she loves the Sasuke which she had created. But in reality, when she comes to terms with the real Sasuke, she starts moving away from him. She doesn't like the real Sasuke. Yeah, we can state what Sakura has for Sasuke as love, but I really don't know how it is love since she cannot accept and love the real Sasuke! And how can it be called as love when she can't even accept the person she likes. This part confuses me a lot. She loves the image of Sasuke she had created in her mind and not the real Sasuke. If you ask me, I'll call her feelings to be slightly weaker than love but not really real love!

I'll argue that its not that she doesn't love the real Sasuke but in fact just doesn't like what he's become, bos Sasuke was eerily similar to kid Kakashi then gradually turned into a mini-Orochimaru, then after the timeskip acted similar to Itachi, then turned into...well...whatever the kitten you want to call what he was during the Kage Summit arc, saying he was psychopathic doesn't quite do it justice, now he acts more or less like Madara minus the wanting to enslave human life.
She became infatuated with the old Sasuke and that's who she wants back she's not so much falling out of love with him so much as she is feeling more distant to who he is now and doesn't like what he's become since he's....well...kittening crazy.

But, if we get to see, it has been shown that Sakura liked Sasuke like every other girl and loved him for his looks. It is more or less taken that she doesn't carry a good opinion of him. I don't know, how to put it in words but its something like, she really loves Naruto for 'Naruto' and Sasuke for...well I don't know :/. Maybe you are right. But honestly, I feel she doesn't love the real Sasuke and regrets that she ever loved him. The last part was a bit strong, I guess. Agreed, she wants old Sasuke back. But I doubt thay it is really because she wants the Sasuke she loved to be back. It more of seems like, it was because he was their teammate and they have accomplished and had shared memories together as a team is why she wants old Sasuke back. I take it, she would wish the same if Naruto were to go on the wrong path! Btw, I don't remember whether it was you or someone else, but someone did say that 'Sakura will see SasuKarin relationship and move on'. I want to state that this makes Naruto a silver medal. It seems like because she cannot be with Sasuke she is with Naruto. Its better, she comes to terms with her feelings and moves on from Sasuke because she feels so and not due to some external influence. That will really make it look like Naruto won Sakura. That's how I see it. You are entitled to have your own opinion so....I won't force my thesis on you. Incase it seems like that, my apologies for that :)I'll argue that its not that she doesn't love the real Sasuke but in fact just doesn't like what he's become, bos Sasuke was eerily similar to kid Kakashi then gradually turned into a mini-Orochimaru, then after the timeskip acted similar to Itachi, then turned into...well...whatever the kitten you want to call what he was during the Kage Summit arc, saying he was psychopathic doesn't quite do it justice, now he acts more or less like Madara minus the wanting to enslave human life.

Not to sound insensitive or anything,

I have to agree with this one. Even Ino had this ideal crush on Sasuke and cried over him as well. Doesn't this mean that Ino was truly in love with Sasuke? And if she was, why not have SasuIno become canon? Just having feelings or attractions to someone is just not enough in this manga otherwise you could say that the entire female body of Konoha was in love with Sasuke.
Again, it is another reason why I hate Sasuke. He gets all this attention from all the characters in the show and yet he doesn't even want it or deserve it. It's also getting harder to really believe it because really it makes the girls look absolutely pathetic that they are hung up on this guy who really never gave a crap about them.
That reminds me, I wonder who Ino will end up with in the end seeing how Sasuke is not going with her either.
As for the silver medal concept...wouldn't that make NaruHina that silver medal too? "I am only with Hinata not because I love her, but because I can't have Sakura."

Still, you don't have to follow the exact same thing. You could bend a rule or two. Besides, when movies make connection to original source, let alone series? So in a way, it's a spoiler. Not to sound insensitive or anything, but you do know Gwen Stacy dies in the comic books right? I am not really sure if I call this a spoiler since it is based off the Spider-Man comic books where Spider-Man accidentally snaps her neck. Not really sure how it happens in the movie, but I kind of knew Gwen Stacy was eventually going to die in the movie.
It's similar to the Winter Soldier. People have known for years who the Winter Soldier was even before the movie came out.

I know. But so what? Movies and tv shows don't always follow it's source from top to bottom. You think they're going to include Gwen getting impregnated by Norman? The walking dead is another example that strays away from it's source, yet it's very successful.
I don't like being spoiled.

Wasn't me who said that, though I agree with you.
I'd prefer her choosing Naruto over Sasuke (*cough*whichisthereasonIhatechapter540*cough*)
Like I said to me the only threat to NS isn't other ships or an open-ending but rather a disappointing ending. If NS happens without SS dying completely off (in that Sakura chooses Naruto as the gold medal) than I will be disappointed with the conclusion.

I have written here what I think when it comes to the so-called love Sakura has/had for Sasuke and who she actually loves, so to speak. She just loves an image of Sasuke's, not the real one.
This so much more or less those are my thoughts as well also it was a very nice and long read just like your last theory bravo for that

" I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come."

....you guys really expected something different? Honestly? That's like watching Passion of the Christ and saying "Don't tell me what happens to Jesus in the end, I want to find out for myself."
I'm sorry, but I don't considered it a spoiler. Since Spider-Man and all Marvel movies are based off the comics, there has to be some things that are already a given. To me, I knew Gwen Stacy was going to die since the first movie, but I never knew how or when. I am that much of a comic book buff. Of course, straying off the material source to try and do something too original can go either really good or really bad.
Take example The Dark Knight Rises or Dragonball Evolution.
Bolded: Well, since you put it that way and you guys say they don't have to, why not make Gwen Stacy the Green Goblin? Wouldn't that be a huge twist and really be something or do you feel that is too much straying off the path?

Basically, it's either expected or not expected, when going to the movie as a person with comic book knowledge. However, if you don't read the comic, then it is most definitely a spoiler.

Yes it does. But since, in the first place I don't agree with NH, I can care less for that. Even Hinata would not accept Naruto this way and I take it that she does have some self respect. So, the answer to your question, yes it does make NH a silver medal. Not to sound insensitive or anything,

Oh stop it already. knowing it or not, what is it so hard for you to understand that I don't want to be spoiled? Like you said, you don't know "how or when". They could follow that canon scenario in the next one or the one after that, do I still want to know if it will be included in that movie? No. Because I want to be on the edge of my seat to see one of my favorite comic book heroes come to life on screen.
