There's too much that happens at once in that series, and none of it feels like it's connected to the actual plot, (i.e. finding the One Piece.) There were some nice moments in the earlier half though. I just feel like the mangaka has lost sight of where he was going with it...

Or maybe it's just me. :B

But I do see where you are coming from though. The manga did lose a little bit of its "personality" when compared to the first half. But I still enjoy it for it's characters and story. It still is my second favorite manga (guess the first)...

Must be more of a personal thing (which is completely fine). One Piece sells a lot more than Naruto, so it must be more likeable. To me, Oda doesn't make a mistake with any of his characters.

I agree, he does a really great job with his characters. My problem with him is his story. He kept drifting so far from the plot with every island that they visited, that I eventually grew bored of it.

LOL! Part of me feels like it would be lame because he's had it with him the entire time. That sort of reinforces the idea that the One Piece is there to encourage adventures and building friendships, because it's not anything special. It's just a hat. :B

Tbh, I have no clue what one piece could be since it hasn't been mentioned for a long time. But I still support a "cheesy" ending with Luffy being stupid and being the last one to realize that his hat was one peice.

It couldn't be the hat. He said that he put the One Piece in the Grand Line. Shanks lived in East Blue, so if you want to use that as some crazy evidence... you can't now.

D, really excited to find out where the chapter will start off (at the battlefield or where Sasuke is or where the half-dead kages are??). I kind of feel like this chapter will be a "fresh start" and that he will start to write more consistently from now on. I just hope Sasuke won't get the spotlight since he is "good" now. Naruto deserves that and needs to act more like he did during the pain arc. Also Sakura should be appearing soon....

A and B. It is a special day for me and I would hate to spoil Kishi as he did with my year-end, on the other hand it's not like I'm not used with their attitudes, so I'm prepared. I'm a little B too, but still could not decide if it's pure anxiety or cold that are doing.
Actually all I want is a little more of Sakura and less Sasuke, if that happens I will be satisfied. Heard Kishi? It is not hard to make me happy

For me, I will go with B. It's the same feeling I had back in waiting for 616. I could have for 615, but I let my guard down on that day. So yeah, whoops. I was at C but doing other stuff earlier today made me relax, so now, I'm at B. The next chapters or volume to be more exact is what going to determine many of us on the direction of the manga.

I think it just proves that we are all human after all , but it intrigues me, is that I was really the only one that was not affected by all this? I mean I was scared when the spoilers came out, but after reading the entire chapter all I could think about was the confession of hinata and I was so excited and happy, because I was sure we would have the same outcome with the embrace of Sakura.
But everyone here was crazy and I really do not understand anything, and then had all the fans NH tormenting me all the time, all I wanted was 616 to rub in their faces and in the end I was not wrong.

Well, allow me to explain why I was leaning B. First of all, there were too many fake spoilers regarding on the next chapter such as NH color chapters, including the front cover. That was false but a lot of people in here bought it. That said I was worried the chances of color chapter for Naruto with Hinata. Strangely, we escaped that. Anyway, second, the cliffhanger was really a cliffhanger and I know that it would have been odd for only two ninjas going against the world. Maybe because I remember how one cartoon show actually did this. It's long time ago and it's not anime. Anyway, it felt like Hinata was going to get exclusive power-up, which not only make her stand out but out class Sakura. That would have hurt. Lastly, there was a chance for Obito and/or Kuruma to parallel Hinata with Rin or Kushina in a very forced way. Chapter 615 left too much possibilities that it can easily damaged the story, let alone NS. So yeah, that's why I was at B. Actually, the week before the release almost made me C because people in here were really, really, giving up. Ok, not C but guys were really pushing me. Anyway, this volume is the game changer and to me, I feel that Kishi's direction will be shown in this volume.

But there is one last thing to say ... I'm glad it ended. And I know Kishi will not let us down the same way again, not if he does want to follow to the end from now.

Lol. It's just that the timing was pretty odd. I guess you can say it's Kishi's fault to have all side characters' developments happen in one arc, which takes too much time from the manga, which is why we see more of all side characters. So, I have to recheck to see I'm right and yeah, I am. Now, we just have to wait to see where NS stands and while I didn't give up, of course, I just don't want NH to suddenly get upperhand in many ways, but again, I guess we got carry away. Yeah, I did support the fact that hand holding is friendship and closure to Neji/Hinata, but yeah, doesn't mean a tag team possibilities couldn't happen.
