That Kishimoto and SP are desperate. I honestly wouldn't be completely shocked if another "universe" was shown where NS happened (and I'm not talking about the Road movie). It would be little more then a money grab though, and an attempt to "make things right" to the fans he lost. It would have to be one hell of a redo and honestly I don't think Kishimoto has the talent to pull it off.

 

SP really doesn't have the talent to do it. From the few filler saga's I've seen, I'm not very impressed by their work.

Kishimoto completely went for the Generation Xerox trope. Everyone is the same age, they have kids at the same time, they stick together the entire time.

 

Soft Taco boy especially is just Naruto as a kid a again. Hell, he feels neglected like his father despite that fact that he is basically a Prince in that universe. He is the first son of the most powerful, and richest clan in the entire village. Yet he "just doesn't fit in". Why? Because Kishimoto wants to write young Naruto stories again, and needed to come up with a way to do that.
