Why everyone look so confident today about NS happening? Is there anything I'm missing? Other than the green x yellow thing.

So I decided to wander into here, and apparently we've un-given up hope? Well, Imma just be a spectator. I'll see what people in Japan say after seeing the film.

 

Will say that if this theory, which I have heard before, is correct, can't say I'm a fan of the way they're going about it.=/ Seems very trollsy, and I would not want to be a victim of it.

but I love reading the theories! They are simply amazing. What made it even better is the fact that Japanese fans are also speculating that the last chapter may have been the IT.

 

It's that fact alone which inspirits some of us that there's a faint glimmer of hope. The home fanbase believe that this ending was very unusual as well.

This thread is building a ton of momentum. I really like all the ideas here, but I honestly believe everyone needs to run in through in their heads - what if we are wrong ("again"). We will get all worked up and then be let down and then curse Kishi's name ("again").

 

I really like all the information collecting, you guys are way smarter than I am. Just expect the worse and hope for the best. At least make yourselves accept that it may not happen, that way if it doesn't you won't be crushed. If it does, then we get to victory dance. But please, if we end up winning, lets vow to never rub it in their faces, we should at least have some honor in winning, or losing, either way.

I read the last five pages and while I cannot say they reflect the rest of the thread, I've got say there's a lot of reaching. The manga is over and done with.

 

I'm surprised a few are so serious about these children being of random parents then what they were implied as. I don't like Sasuke and Hinata, but I like Naruto and Sakura. I cannot accept that Sakura would be raising the child of another woman or making Sasuke fail to redeem himself in her eyes. I also cannot accept Naruto would be cheating on Hinata with Sakura or that Hinata would cheat on him with Lee (or any of the variants). That is tasteless and doesn't fit Naruto as a heroic character.

Of course Sakura would raise the child of another woman, especially if that child was orphaned or abandoned for some reason.  She is a very compassionate person.

I can't say I put much stock in this theory myself. I just don't know. I've mostly come to terms with the manga ending now, and don't want to get my hopes up over something that may not be true.

But it's interesting to see all these theories. And many think it's fitting that the manga pull the same kind of feint attack that Naruto the character is known for. If the theories are true, color me impressed. That would be pretty genius writing, if done right.

I am sorry if this offends you, but that's disgusting. Sakura loves Sasuke. I know he's a douchebag that doesn't deserve the second chance, but she's kind enough to give it to him, and that's what Kishi wanted to write.

 

To raise his child with another woman would be extremely cruel. Do you even know what kind of effect that would have on her? It would be pointless as well. What is the point? Punishing Sakura?

 

I cannot believe anyone who defends this is a fan of Sakura or cares about her happiness. You are robbing Sakura of her child and you are taking advantage of her kindness.

Kishimoto doesn't care about the rules he's set, the precedents or foreshadowing. He just does what ever he wants. Naruto's kids can totally have whiskers even though it's previously been shown to be through the mother's line. Kishimoto just didn't care. All rules and foreshadowing and build-up is pointless in the face of that.

Um, the reason why Naruto has whisker marks is due to the Kyuubi's influence. He was in his mothers womb and she had the Kyuubi sealed within her.

 

Additionally, look at Gaara and his raccoon dog eyes. The Shukaku was sealed in him prior to birth and so he had a trait of the tailed beast.

 

Also, I'm not sure how it's insulting to the characters. I mean 699 was truly insulting to the characters, like truly. I guess this is one of those times I'll agree to disagree.

Yes, I believe Kishi built up the characters but due to rushing the ending he killed the development. 699 was just a character killing chapter where everyone seemed way OOC. I like the thought of IT. I don't depend on this idea, I've already accepted that Kishi ruined his characters. He would have to pull a really clever stunt in order to win back my respect of the manga. Thought I think almost everything before that chapter has been really good.

Umm...

Let's say NS is a couple. How about Naruto AND Sakura taking care of his child? Aren't they basically family? Especially to Naruto? I doubt he would turn him down, especially when he has his own child. How is it insulting and degrading the characters? If anything it's the opposite. This thread isn't just to save NS, but just this ending as a whole... It's not like there's serious affair theories being said..

Plus. you're pairing Hinata with Lee when they have not a single interaction and you're pairing Sasuke with Karin when he's completely disgusted by her. They are not Choji, to be paired off randomly. Hinata loves Naruto and Sasuke is loved by Sakura, while being disgusted by Karin. You are creating more problems than you are solving.

You are probably right, however its hard to fight some of the lingering questions. -Why is Sarada a replica of Karin, she has no traits of Sakura like the other kids??? - Why didn't Kishi put the end couples together or have them acknowledge each other??? -Why would Kishi have a massive city placed in the background. I understand technology advances but it takes away the charm of the ninja world??? And more questions!!! I think in the end you are more than likely correct lol but I just wander what Kishi's end goal is. Why not give Sarada pink hair and make it obvious?!?!
