After reading this interview, I am almost 100% sure that there will not be a part 3.
This interview is not even a year old

What here is supposed to contradict there being a part 3?

Me too I can't help but think Kishi parallels some things from NS to his relationship with his wife.

Maybe Kishi's mom asked him to find someone like her and that ended up being his wife (Since he used this formula twice)

That makes no sense. He says nothing about there not being a part 3 just that he wants to end it on a strong note which means its going to have a good ending how is there being an epilogue arc after the war and movie contradict this at all if anything it reinforces it because now he wont have to rush.

Epilogue arc makes sense.
Part 3 implies that it would the same length as Part 1 or 2, which would contradict what Kishimoto said.

not at all a Part 3 just means a timeskip which can just be 1 story arc long, much like what 666 Satan did




People may say that 666 Satan and Naruto have no connection but they have so many similarities its pretty impossible to not see all of them (even the way Amaterasu was taking over the world was pretty similar to what Madara did with the IT)

Let's just take a break from this. Best to see more info and perhaps an interview. Should help a lot. Let's not jump to conclusion like this is part 3 or this is the epilogue or anything. Let's not lose ourselves.

As far as I am concerned, if there is a part 3, it would have to make a new conflict but where is the trouble and situation in the time after this major event has passed? Yes evil guys would still be out there but even with a timeskip to some points it maybe running along too much in its own good. It's like how some nh fans hope for a part 3, that way more could be put out for nh as they hope so it could then get more space to come. Same with SS fans hoping everything just gets better with more space, but it's otherwise well, kinda bonkers when you think if it like this because something would have to occur for each main character, learn stuff realize stuff especially during this time in part 2 when the situation has come and gone.

This coming movie isn't even said to be canon or not, but though they say it's a first in a new era project, maybe naruto will only run on movie or purely anime like a form of Dragonball gt after the manga ends?

The manga will be running into 2015 no questions there, but as for the movie, well we just need more info for now.

Still makes more sense than it being Tsunade with her hokage cap like Ch1p keeps suggesting.

AT any rate whoever it is has light hair otherwise it would have been shaded in, so whoever it is has light shoulder length hair, there's only one real person who comes to mind
