Yeah, that whole scene and the music was quite touching. I didnt expect there to be so little of sasuke and hinata on the film tbh. I also like sakura fighting Menma. Twas quite awesome.

Agreed. Funny how all of us worked up that these AU! Characters will have roles. I think the shipping goggles were going crazy knowing Kishi is making the movie.

From my perspective, Sasuke loves one man. Itachi. That's it. Though there is potential for Karin as well. I think he's supposed to love Naruto too, but I don't like how their bond was developed and I would've liked to see Sasuke thinking about Naruto more before he went crazy.

As I see it, Sasuke loves Itachi/the Uchiha Clan and tolerates Team Taka. I'm not sure how he feels about individual members of Konoha (specifically Team 7), because the last time he saw them, he was a homicidal maniac who wanted to destroy everything. So it's a bit complicated, especially with his new "protect Konoha" ambition.

I'm really hoping Kishi doesn't trash his character by writing him all OOC. A "lovey-dovey" Sasuke is the last thing we need.

I agree to some extent. But I think he actually cares for Itachi more than the Uchiha clan in general. Remember that it's Itachi's will that's driving Sasuke to protect Konoha at the moment. Team 7 is tricky because I honestly don't think he cares for Sakura/Kakashi enough for them to be on a list of this caliber. It was always Naruto who he really cared about, which is why I believe he is on a different kind of list entirely. Sasuke grudgingly accepts Naruto as a worthy rival, and he obviously cares enough about defeating him that he went against his own morals and transplanted Itachi's eyes. So while he may not care for Naruto in the same way he does for Itachi, he still does. A lot.

I think he will always value his bond with Naruto much more than his bond with Sakura. Not exactly a good thing between lovers...

As for the second bolded, the fact that that was confirmed in that particular arc is important. The time couldn't have been that long ago, what, a couple weeks? I think that whatever Naruto and Sasuke feel about Sakura is not going to change in that short of time, if that makes any sense. Naruto can't possibly get over Sakura in that short of time, given his characterization and the fact that Naruto was confirmed to have feelings for Sakura 3 times in a row. And Sasuke changing his feelings would make even less sense.

Sakura, to me anyways, seems to have been changing ever since Sasuke left, as her feelings for him are hurting her, while her feelings for Naruto are growing.

Speaking about sai do you think sai is gonna push sakura's feelings for naruto? I have a feeling that after 615 shock she had. It might cause her to speak to sai about her romantic feelings for naruto. Heck even before she might speak about it she might be depressed about it at first.

Yeah I have a hard time imagining a loving Sasuke. It's just not in his character, but it is in Naruto's. Kishi knows that, which is why we have this NaruHina vs NaruSaku love triangle going on. SasuKarin and SasuSaku really aren't as "intense" as NS and NH; at least for me. I also find that you have to do a lot more assuming for your pro-arguments for any Sasuke related ships. I know part of it is that he's not the main character and he's not big on romance, but still, NS and even NH to some extent have a lot more evidence than either SK or SS. But of course NaruSaku triumphs all in the development department.
