Hokages and others will take a while since they are coming from Konoha, which is far. That said it leaves a suspense, much like the alliance arrival. That said I don't think we will see them for a while.

True. Undoubtedly, when the Kage's arrive, it will have to be a big moment. I doubt even Kishimoto would just have them stroll onto the scene.
"Hello there, everyone."
"Hokage-Sama!?"
"'Hokage-Sama's."
"...Right. Anyway, what are you all doing here?"
"We heard there was a big battle going on. Is this it?"
"Uh, I guess."
"Splendid! This is a perfect opportunity to wear my 'Don't touch the Will of Fire, or you'll get Burned!' t-shirt!"
...Uh, what were we talking about again?

Oh, I'm sorry! I wasn't directing my post at you - I suppose I should have made a quote.
I was referring to FoolishYoungling's post about seeing Sakura there with the Kages, should we return to their part of the story in the next chapter. I don't think it's possible for her to be there with them at this point in time... Though I do believe that we're going to see what they're doing next. I'm preparing myself for tears. Poor Tsunade.

Lol. I can't help but feel that these guys will be late. Like the battle is over. But I doubt it. It will be funny though. Actually, it could happen, but it's slim.

Although I find it interesting that there's this build up for Sakura ever since she was last seen. I kind of expected something fabulous from her.

True. but the bottom line is that Tsunade has been cut in half for about 25 chapters or so. If she uses her chakra to heal the Kages, especially after using up the chakra in the yin seal, I don't think that she is going to survive. If she dies, Sakura has to have a moment with her. Tsunade is too important of a character to just fade into the background, and Sakura is the closest thing to a student she had. There is of course Shizune, but Shizune isn't a main character.

Ehhh...We're Sakura fans and we're desperate for some action.
I just hope that he has something in store for Sakura. Honestly, the less her "shining moment" has to do about pairings, the better. I don't want her reduced into a Hinata-type pairing fodder type. Really I'm fine with anything except SasuSaku...

Well that just my opinion but if the like of Hinata, ino, shikamaru, chouji, and sasuke can get development in this war arc, why not sakura?

Bolded: Not really. Jiraiya didn't get a final moment with Naruto before his death, and I would argue that he was an important character. So really, there's nothing that says when a master dies, their students *have to* be there for their final moments. It's more sentimental when they are, like with Team Ten and Asuma, but it's not required. I can imagine that we'll get Tsunade's final thoughts, much like we did with Jiraiya, and those will probably include Sakura/Shizune, Naruto, and Dan/Jiraiya.

True, but Jiraiya was not Naruto's only mentor. Minato, he met before he passed onward and inherited his will for peace. Kushina=Orange Hokage/Kyubi power. And well Iruka and Kakashi have not died yet. Sakura has only had one mentor and that is Tsunade. If he wants to follow this cycle of the younger generation surpassing the older, how can he do that without Sakura learning Tsunade's will or possible techniques. Now, Kishi can always use the flashback scenario ass-pull move, but he is still predictable to a degree. There is a reason that Sakura has taken a backseat for so long. The Land of Iron Arc according to Kishi was supposed to portray her as a heroic woman[at least in his mind] and was a spotlight moment for her because a lot of the arc was based on her decisions. Maybe not in the next chapter or so, but because he has focused on so many other characters, I think that it is safe to say that her moment is coming soon, and that her being with Tsunade makes the most sense.

Agree, if sakura has summon contract than I believe one day she will become slug sage.

Mhm Sakura is most likely going to be involved either way. 1.) Direct confrontation + hearing her last words... 2.) Tsunade thinking of Sakura and putting her faith in her to help lead the next generation...
I want the first scenario to happen not just for Sakura, but for Tsuande as well. It would be kind of sad for her to just die alone.
I don't think Tsunade is the same here. If anything, she has already overcome any past failures. Her words against Madara really proved that. So dying thoughts like Jiraiya would be kind of pointless in my opinion.
