Okay, so let me bring this up because something pondered me.

So this movie takes place 2 years after the manga correct? You mean to tell me that Naruto has NOT answered Hinata's confession in all that time? No rejection. No, "Sorry, I am in love with Sakura." For 2 to about 3 years, Naruto has never gave Hinata any answer to her confession at all?

Why?

 

Naruto can't answer because Hinata's feelings are still secret. Or at least that's what the summary says.

The problem with modifying the "wait for me" line is that the sentence is being put in promotional products (like those covers from the volumes) along with the line of Sasuke and Kakashi. So the line is probably as it is.

 

Meh. I thought as much. Just wanted to throw it out there. But they still can pull anything to troll us, I think, so, if this even is the case, well, it can happen in other instances...

So Hinata wants to give the scarf she made for Naruto to him and possibly confess, but she hasn't yet?

I'm really confused because she confessed in the manga.

Maybe she'd want it to be more formal and not something that was done in the heat of the moment, like during the fight? That's the only explanation I can think of.

Have any of the screenshots/featured moments, thus far, from the film had it, though? I thought it was only in that one image of him used for promotional material.

Maybe but.. That means that Naruto and Sakura aren't together either, because Hinata is still going for Naruto. She would have backed off if Naruto let her down gently or saw NS happened.

Did Naruto not confess? Or was he rejected? This is a time skip... I'm so confused.

Hinata falling : Naruto-kun ! ( Can she say something else than that ? I mean she's like a perrot at this point, she can't say anything else)

 

This is not looking good guys... Kishi may have chosen to make the majority of the fan happy (NH and SS) despite ruining the love story in his manga 

 

It is just a teaser - those two sentences can be in two totally different scenes ...
