Seriously? Kill her? What the kitten man, what would killing her do? Yep, because death solves everything!
Pretty easy what it would do: It would finally after every kitten Sasuke has done make her realize that he wasnt the right choice to go for. At least her character is then redeemed in death. Still better ending for her then now. The best part of all this is she still loves a guy that she startet loving because of his looks coolness and talents. What a message kishi.

I am sorry but...WHAT? Lol alright...have it your way man! You win. Happy?
*sighs* What is the problem? You seem to be frustrated with me. Lets talk about this over pm. We are countrymen afterall, I'm sure we can solve this mis-understanding on pm. No need to be a nuisance to others.
She can't do it again because he used the Rinnegan Genjutsu which is just as hard to break out of as Sharingan genjutsu.
Well...Lets hope she surprises everyone
I thought the same. When I saw that look on her face, that angry look, I thought she was gonna yell at Sasuke about wanting to fight Naruto, about wanting to destroy the bijuus and everything.
I don't know. To me it seemed like Kishimoto wanted Naruto and Sasuke to fight all alone.
Truth be told, I don't want anyone to interfere in this fight too. But last chapter leaves me with a feeling that there will be something unexpected. Manga is possibly nearing its end, Kishi is making every characters shine so its difficult imagining that he would leave Sakura this way.
'No matter what I do, I guess Happiness is a feeling that I'll never experience'

Since he's kind of a Naruto fan (not really a Sakura fan), it's only natural that he will get angered if his favorite character doesn't get what he wants. Hinata fans for example, wants Naruto dead because of the "girlfriend" comment. To them, Naruto is a criminal for not loving Hinata back. For Phoenixelite, Sakura is a criminal for not loving Naruto back.Seriously? Kill her? What the kitten man, what would killing her do? Yep, because death solves everything!
It's kind of a natural reaction. Not all NS fans are Naruto AND Sakura fans. These kind of reactions are only to be expected.

Lol that's good then. Lots of people jumping ship that day.
I still don't understand why. Because this chapter doesn't change anything. It's just confusing about Sakura's feelings, but the end will always be the same. NaruSaku has too much evidence.

People jumping ship left and right. It was a sight to behold.

Nah I won't jump ship. I wonder how they felt when they saw 631&663.

I also think Sasuke feels a family love/bond for team7. I interpret Sasuke's feelings like you.
What bothering me right now is what Kishi really wanted to say about Sakura, because he's contradicting himself.
I don't belive he is. You know what scenario I think it is? While at first I was confused, I then remembered.... She says she loves Sasuke but Naruto is close.
Sakura is yet to come to a realization. And this is the path Kishi takes. Similar a bit to RTN with manga elements ofc.
And her realization comes from Sasuke's own actions. Not to mention, there is the forehead comment. Remembber that card hasn't been played yet. Doesn't make you guys wonder WHY? I already wrote a post on my blog about it... It is all still in the way jap media portrays love...
Just yiu wait...
I know it's hard, esp now, but that is the trick.

He knows what im talking about. Pretty sad manga for the MAIN CHARACTER.
Sakura is not criminal for not lovin Naruto back. Kishi is a retard for negleting character development and buildup. Its just like it never happend at all

I feel relieved cuz I wasn't here when 615 released.Thank God.
Same here, funny thing is I didn't discover this site until Volume 64's cover came out, and by then I felt relieved cause during that time Sakura made her to speech to the shinobi alliance about not giving up. Of course there was also the girlfriend comment from Minato which was pretty insane.
Nah I won't jump ship.
I wonder how they felt when they saw 631&663.
Let's just say within 30 minutes (I believe) Naruto Forums had crashed, and it was interesting seeing all the fandom's reaction. Surprisingly enough I was able to convince two SasuSaku fans and two NaruHina fans why NaruSaku makes sense, and after they heard my reasoning they jumped to NS.
Funny thing is I was talking with them about yesterdays chapter, and we were like the volume just started there's still like 7-8 chapters before it comes to an end. This is only the beginning for Sakura to recognize and resolve her feelings.

No I mean, what you are talking about, it's the development. I'm aware of that.
But not so far away in the distance, Kakashi said her feelings for Sasuke has changed.
Then why is she saying she loves him now ? This is contradicting.

Not really. If you're worried about Naruto's happiness, I can assure you he'll live a happily ever after as long as Sasuke returns. After all, Sasuke is the most important person in Naruto's life. Sasuke is Naruto's brother and their bond are the most important in the manga. Don't worry. He's not going to be sad. There is Sasuke.

Thats even more sad.
Kishi just ruined the story with 1 chapter

So.... 24-ish hours later and I'm still really unsatisfied with this chapter.
I keep wishing Sakura was more like Astrid or Winrey, and less like how she is portrayed here where her fierceness is always undermined.
Case in point: Sakura is one of the strongest at breaking genjutsus. Her natural talent outpaces most of the shinobi in Konoha, as seen in the chunin exam when she was one of only a few in the stands (think best of the best all gathered to watch the matches) to withstand that genjutsu and come out of it on her own, with no help from anyone. And what happens in this chapter? Of course, Sasuke hits her with a nasty genjutsu that she is powerless to overcome, striking down the thing she is most talented at (outside of chakra control).
It's undermines her on two different levels:
1. Sasuke forcing himself on her violently in her mind is the same as doing it in the flesh — Sasuke gives the impression of killing her. He leaves her with the intent and image, just not the actual deed. This is a violence at it strongest, cold blooded murder, and there's no excusing it or justifying his actions. It's psychological torture, and one that she believes is real until someone snaps her out of it.
2. Sakura's number one skill has been taken away — Her ability to fend off genjutsu's has collapsed. By flopping on the ground, disabled by Sasuke, Sakura is shown in the ultimate weak position. She can't kill him with her physical skill, she can't heal him, she can't beg for him to stay, and now she can't even break his genjutsu, a skill which even he noted in the past was superior to others. She's been completely disabled. Physically and emotionally.
And if next chapter Kishimoto pulls a switch, trolling us all by showing Sasuke talking to her in the genjutsu instead of mentally killing her over and over, it will be equally repulsive. Hurting her just to show how much he really loves her, beneath it all in some secret head space, is often how victim's excuse away physical domestic abuse. And if Kishimoto uses it as plot device....well, it will be a new low for the story.
The last thing that really disgusts me is that the outpouring of sympathy towards Sasuke remains as strong as ever. Willfully so, even when it flies in the face of reality. The Sage talks of hoping Sasuke can one day find love...after he just stabbed the girl who professed her love through the heart!! WTH, Sage? Were you not paying attention there?
And Naruto simply whines about it, as if Sasuke just hung up the phone on Sakura instead of killing her with his mind. I'm beginning to wonder if there is anything Sasuke could do that would be deemed as too far by Naruto's standards.
My point is Sasuke has done NOTHING to warrant this much continued sympathy. Nothing. But he gets heaps and heaps of from those around him, even from someone who only just met him (the Sage) while Sakura has been mentally murdered and is lying in a fetal position beside them. But she is barely noticed except for Naruto's half-hearted comment, because the rest of them keep their eyes on Sasuke, still blathering on about his poor plight.
There is no way Kishi can redeem this storyline in one battle. And I think we can all assume that Naruto's going to lose because of the state of his hand in the movie sketches (probably from using that technique that destroys muscle at the cellular level). And Sasuke's continued glare in the sketches makes it look like nothing's changed with him, so we can just assume he won't be the loser here.
So I'm with folks who think this fight will go down like that OVA, with Sakura and Kakashi rescuing a wounded Naruto.
My only concern is that the story will wrap up like that novel, where the heroine doesn't come to her senses about the main character until the very, very end. Can't remember the name, but it was the promotional novel that mirrored Naruto's story. I just would like to see more of the story of Naruto and Sakura together than the last two pages of the manga or that last five minutes of the movie.

If you thought Sakura imploding this chapter was something, just wait until you see the next chapter. "Sasukehhh you're my friend, right?!?!" Just giving you guys a little sample of Naruto's dialogue.
Sasuke: "My view as Hokage is destroying everything, killing those who are obstacles like Sakura, your bijuus and self-crowning myself as Napoleone did!! And destroying the actual shinobi system like villages, etc... Do you like it!!??"
Naruto: Don't worry. I can collaborate with you, that's a big deal! You are my precious friend Sasukeh!!!"
Sasuke: "Soo gay, like me!! "

He said that she still loves him but only differently, so I belive that is what is happening now which doesn't contradict what Kakashi says if u think about it.No I mean, what you are talking about, it's the development. I'm aware of that.
