But.... Dan is nothing like Sasuke. There have been absolutely no parallels drawn between Sasuke and Dan throughout the entire manga. It was Naruto that reminded Tsunade of Dan and her little brother.

If chapter 380 is anything to go by, Tsunade came to finally love Jiraiya and I think she still does now even if he died. But of course Dan will always hold a special place in her heart since they shared a relationship before. She'll always love and care for Dan, but I think her romantic feelings now belong to Jiraiya.

As far as NS parallel, it really doesn't matter. Naruto shares similarities with both Jiraiya (personality) and Dan (dreams), so in the end it's a win-win situation.

What she means is that Dan just like Minato Nawaki and Naruto wished to protect the ones they love, become Hokage and Protect the Village.

Sasuke before Massacre always wanted to be acknowledged by His father and to be equal or greater than Itashi, so No Sasuke isn't anything like Dan, From when he was a kid he was already thinking only about himself even Itachi call him out on it once.

If wanted to protect your loved ones and protect your village is the standard, then just about all of the good guys in the manga can be parallel to Dan - just saying. Naruto is the ONLY character that has actually been paralleled to Dan in the manga by Kishi himself.

Anyone trying to make a connection between Dan and Sasuke in an attempt to show NS is dead is just grasping at straws. Period. There is absolutely no merit to that argument at all.

Doesn't Kishi say that Heaven and Earth will colide in one of them? And I think Iruka said something about Naruto and Sakura, but I don't remember if he did or not. edit; Actually, I found this a while ago, you know.. cuz it's old. But it reminded me, inner Sakura has much in comment with Naruto, while "outer" Sakura is calm. I think it's charming how Naruto can pull out inner Sakura, with him - she's a true tsundere!

People, people, I don't think anyone here believes, Sakura lied to Naruto and use his feeling, Yamato speech, Sai question and even Sakura ask herself what was that feeling. The thing is please hear me out.
But
Many NaruSaku fans believe that it would be stupid for Sakura to still have lingering feeling for Sasuke and that chapter where she say that there was someone else everyone thought she was talking about Naruto, I wasn't a member here by that time but I read the old thread, I read all the comments from chapter 539 and maybe around 3 user said that she was speaking about Sasuke, this place had 30 or 40 users that day. The next week people were deeply disappointed, but ciardha like always renewed most of the user's spirit that is when I start respecting ciardha and I still do. There was only one user using profanity but Gravenimage as always was asking people to calm down, that mades me wonder why isn't he a Kage he deserves it.

With Hinata and chapter 450 I was a user at that time and most of us believe Hinata already accepted that Naruto loves Sakura and she was seeing ok with it, we even made comments about NH fans beingn delusional and Hinata might not even thinks that way anymore, all NH rant was created by her fans not the character herself.

Now My point. Kishi has the writer has proven us wrong two times making the NH and SS throw that in our faces whenever they have a chance.

Kishi knows People hate Sakura because many feels that she was lying, so why is so hard for him to make Sakura say, Naruto you was wrong about me lying to myself, but I cannot blame you for thinking that way.
Then end it right there if he doesn't want to spoil the pairing Drama.

Was Kishi stating that she wants to be with Naruto? No.

Is he saying that Sakura forgets Sasuke? No Sakura accepts that she still has feelings for him it obvious that she was hurted because of Sasuke, but it also shows that she didn't lie to Naruto and she sees him romantically too.

Now Is Kishi stating that NaruSaku will be the end pairing? Again No.

That was my point, he keeps readers guessing but he puts his main heroine in a better light.

For the NaruSaku ending, the moment the bench scene is mention again Sakura will understant why Naruto didn't believe her in her confession.

The ending where Naruto is about to die and Sakura yells out she loves him has a much bigger chance than the bench scene. Then again I could be completely wrong here.

I don't feel people are relying on it. It's just something that almost started up NaruSaku in the first place even though Naruto was disguised as Sasuke.

It's like a mysterious masked man at a ball that sweeps his love off her feet and she doesn't even realize it till WAYYYYY later. Like a fantasy.

It was also the first moment Sakura felt that Sasuke returned her feelings, though she was confused when he somehow became so cold-hearted moments later.

It's a curious thing, though it's something small, how would Sakura react if she found out that was Naruto who complimented her insecurity that time? The most I can really imagine is one of those serene smiles she shoots his way now and then.

But hey, maybe it can be something bigger than that, like Naruto reenacting it, but with that forehead kiss we've been seeing so often. I mean, it seems strange for that particular type of thing to pop up again after all this time, in my opinion anyway.

I could've told you Sakura is one of, if not THE most hated character in the Naruto serise. And for what? If the author says something then you don't have any place to argue. People tend to forget that with just a snap of his finger Kishi can kill any character he chooses. And with that being said...it's probably not a good idea for them to go off and praise Hinata like Azura and bow down to her. Really can't stand her fanbase!

Has anyone seen a worse fanbase? I'm being litteral here. I've watched tons of TV serise, some anime, Teen Tiatans, and the list just goes on. NONE of them had a fanbase as bad as Hinata's.

Anyway, if Kishi said Sakura was being truthfull about her words, then it's only a matter of time I guess.

They don't like NS, they're biased! They'll deny anything that could affect their pairing in any way, facts are not important because they don't want to believe in the facts, they want to believe in their pairing.

Then you have skeptics in general and that's perfectly fine to be a bit skeptical because the scene was confusing, but if Kishi said she was telling the truth, then I don't know why it's still up for debate or why people are so upset about people who are obviously going to believe opposite of what we believe.

Don't just spit out numbers to make your argument seem more relevant because it is most likely completely wrong or exaggerated. Maybe 78% of western NH or SS or LS fans believes she was lying, but honestly, that all that matters is what you believe until someone brings up a valid point that the mangaka himself has already cleared up.

One quick replay, every single forum I read thinks that way, that is the main reason why I stop going to other Forums because I'm really tired of it, even in H & E N they say that they wish Kishi could clear that confession up to keep haters quiet, you hear people saying, don't go to YouTube, don't go to YouTube, many places already have that belief, they have already spread the Sakura lies to naru all over the internet. Even 2 forums in Japan I read using the Google translate thinks Sakura lied to him. Now after you keep hearing Sakura lied to Naruto don't you think Kishi should just shut them up already it has being 2 + years since her confession and the Sakura Bashing that started because of it, I think is time for Kishi to clear that up.

Again no one is saying Sakura doesn't have any feelings for Naruto, what I am saying that I'm tired of the Sakura lied to Naruto everywhere I go. It's freaking annoying that's why I wish Kishi could clear that up.

i believe that 'forehead scene' between Naruto and Sakura will come again in the future. Come on, Dan-Tsunade scene (forehead kiss) was happened in the past, the one that Tsunade kissed his forehead, then after a long time, Kishi gave us chapt 591, the same scene.
