He's been spending the past decade wandering about in an act of repentance or something. Why would it be necessary for him to acquire anything new? He's the most powerful being alive next to Naruto. There's no one else who can challenge him.
Well didn't Hashirama and Madara still train even after they became more powerful than anybody else?

We don't know much about their training regimens besides Madara gouging out his brother's eyes and consuming some flesh to acquire the Rinnegan. Both men would still have Tobirama contending for first place with them until they acquired stronger modes and forms that sets them tiers apart from the younger Senju sibling.

We can imagine Madara and Izuna both got a lot of "Hate the Senju" and other classics beaten into their heads by their dad, as well as both having something of a rivalry from what Itachi hinted at.

That's messed up, he wanted to act like a jerk (Sasuke already does that but still...) so Sakura could forget about him and go to him (Naruto). Lol, Sasuke was pretty salty, I don't disagree but he didn't act like a bully and even if he did Naruto would lash out at him (Unlike Sakura).
Bu..but..but he is the original king 
Gil is kinda cool in F/Z but he becomes a major douche after it, still not on Griffith's level tho
And I'd say pretty much everyone in early team 7 had some jerk characteristics in their relation with each other

It hasn't been confirmed if that Lee's and Tenten's child, or just some random kid he's training. Knowing Kishimoto in his parallels, it's most likely the latter. She doesn't really mention a significant other or anything like that anyways, so it's best to assume she just didn't get with anybody in the end, surprisingly.
