Soo.....In other words, he spent the whole manga developing the romance subplot for purpose of jerking with his fanbase and did so to such an extent that he couldn't develop anything else. So, he spent far more time with his red herring that his true pairing, again, to the extent that he needs a seperate movie to fill in enormous gaps (and outright retcons) that could have easily been dealt with in the manga and that according to him and his editors he had YEARS to do this, but simply failed?Thus, he spent more time screwing with his fandom than doing what he should have been doing: developing his primary pairing?Look, I understand wanting to tweak an over serious fandom. I'd do it, but this isn't tweaking. It's pure negligence to spend more time and effort on your red herring to the point where you are actively neglecting what you claim to be doing.I can't tell if is he dim (didn't see what he was doing), a liar (just saying this to make it look like the end wasn't a giant asspule), or simply a giant a**hole.

ew, in the interview text it says that Kishi "smiles micheviously" before saying that NaruSaku was a red herring.
 

I think of myself as being reasonable. When he confirmed NH and SS I was able to partially respect his decision and keep myself from insulting him or his work.  However *this* is not worthy of respect and its deliberately sh**ting on a portion of your readership. He's no different than JKR or Bryke. Unbelievable.

that's the one thing I've been wondering since the first interview. There's no way to save what he has done and yet he continues to try anyway. They need to tell him to keep his trap shut. i dont know whats going through his head.

A bit of honesty from Kishi would be more than welcome, pairings in a shonen aren’t that important so why can’t he just admit he changed his mind or wasn't always planing the endgame pairings ? As much as I believe Kishi is a hack if he really wanted NH from the beginning I’m sure he would have developped it more or maybe he had the idea of the movie since the start and I refuse to believe Kishi can be that stupid.

I think it's sad that we can write the characters better than the main creator.

I never see a fanfic that can easily overwrite the main one. That shouldn't even happen.

Then assistant tweet kishi doesn't have heroine since 2010 :-/ wtf

What if all this BS Kishi  is spewing in all recent interviews is done on purpose because he wants the movie to fail and wants the next series to be canceled ? Maybe also a bit as revenge against the fans that favored the underdeveloped pairings over the one he intended which led to him being forced to make those pairings happen .

He doesn’t know how to deal with the point plots he raised so he prefers to simply ignore them or downplay them even if it goes against preestablished facts, he's an awful and lazy writer.
