Are they really gonna show his face ? But it's illogical, since a few years ago they released an additional chapter in which a 16years old-Naruto was asking Kakashi's dogs what his real face looks like ...

This may be a dumb question, but which flashbacks retconned Sasuke respecting Naruto in their final fight?

The ones with him likening Naruto to Itachi, as well as the ones with him saying he had an ounce of concern for Naruto. People may hate me for this, but there was zero justification for them to become friends in the first place. Sasuke was nothing but a bully to Naruto, and the entirety of Konoha (the ones that knew about their relationship) supported it. That makes Kakashi, Sakura etc that much more disgusting. Than they already are. It's like Kishi took all the world issues and had his characters support the bad side of those issues. Domestic violence? Better have a abusive relationship. Man has romantic feelings? Downplay those because they aren't worth as much as his femal counterpart. Women's development? Develops chest instead of character. The list goes on.

well newsflash, she's only popular in the west, she's hated along with naruto in japan, one of the primary reasons being the advertisements making people sick of her, or did you think she was free from the hate that naruto and sakura get? just because she's not hated as much as naruto and sakura because of their trashed characters doesn't mean she's popular and not hated dude.....

She is not only popular in the west.
I never said Hinata doesn't get hate. I said Hinata is more popular than sakura.

I never realized that retcon if Kakashi does show his face in that extra. I think people are in for a rude awakening.

Hi guys . Been lurking watching here for 4 years i have alot things to say and ask and finally make an account. Forgive me if in future my word is bad still learning english.

 

Last year filler only last up to february , now its already april why still soo many filler do you guys knows when the anime get back to main story? i cant wait to see sakura give kiss of life and hold naruto heart . I realy have bad feeling about this . I feel that they delaying that moment purposely ...

Its not even that , the thing is that this chapter is based on the filler they did with T7 about Kakashi's face in P1 . And you know what this means !? It means filler is now canon .Not that it wasn't before with Kikitten admitting that 530  " the Love Letter Nin scene"  was created only for SP's filler purposes  . So in short all this means original story doesn't matter in fact there is no originality in this story whatsoever so kitten it !!! , basically the whole story is utter kitten and it has no other purposes then giving "FANSERVICE" !!! .

The thing is Canon always matters it matters allot or we wouldn't be dealing with this kitten right now  but in here  that doesn't exist anymore bc  they reduced it to fillers and there is no consistency whatsoever , which only tells you that this story has no purpose at all     .

They think that this will bring them more money or bring the fans back but they are illiterate morons who don't know how to write even one  decent scene they just don't care about the consistency and the story as a whole as long as they serve you something and think they''ll  have some profit out of it  even if what they serve you is kitten .

It just seems like Kishi never kept up with his own story. He writes down a new idea for it and is now going back periodically to see if it actually fits in there somehow. I'm starting think the most common phrase heard in his studio is "kitten, now how am I gonna explain this."

SP better pray that they portray Kakashi and Sasuke good in Bolt's movie. Since they are the only two char left who can still "lure" in the fans. If they mess up. It's all over!

Obito was proven to be the most manipulated villain in the series. He never sought out Madara and was actually supposed to die. He was just unlucky enough to be found by Madara and then have a number done on him by his savior mentally since he was going to be an important pawn. Out of all the villains he had the least choice. I'm not excusing him, just going by what's in the manga.

 

Yeah, the Uchiha were all manipulated, and Madara was the root of the problem. But instead of making him the ultimate villain, as Kishi should have done, he dumped the whole thing off on some anonymous character that never had a real role in the story. (What's-her-face the goddess, and the zetsus).

 

There could have been some big climax with Madara where the real backstory of the Uchihas was revealed. But no, just another battle to set up another villain. 

 

And in the end, maybe it was all just to set up the Hinata movie, not to resolve anything in the manga at all.

 

Anyway, every Uchiha was ultimately a pawn in Madara's plan, and the ending should have focused more on that.

Yeah, there was nothing in chapters 1-697 to indicate that Sasuke had any positive feelings towards Naruto when they were kids. If you ask me, this retcon really takes something away from the early stages of Naruto where readers really felt like he was ostracized and alone. But wait! Seasick always admired him sorta maybe?
