Ahahaha that's 100% what would happen in a date between them
I've really wanted to watch one piece anime but no-one has responded to my pleading for a link to watch it. Google has no decent results and crunchyroll doesnt have it

This is exactly I wanted to see happened with her, but the latest developments sadly proves this to be a nonsense. The only theory I have that concludes Hinata being happy for Naruto and Sakura's hug is that she thinks that the bonds and relationship between Naruto and Sakura are filial because they are teammates. And if she really thought that Naruto's feeling for Sakura is more than platonic and filial, Hinata would have considered her first thoughts on the battlefield is to stop chasing naruto and let him be with woman he wants to be with, not try to hold his hand and walk with him blah blah blah... My beleive, Hinata is probably unaware how Naruto really feels for Sakura, for sure we probably would see her envy Sakura by now.

Most harem mangas are really formulaic and stale, but the one I recommended is different. Sure, there are harem undertones, but a lot of it have more of a direction towards friendships and serves a character development device. While it's fun that there's so many girls attracted to the main character, thus resulting in a lot of fan-shipping, but the author makes it clear that there's only one girl for the guy and it's canon. The rest of the girls mostly serve as plot devices for his character development.

The family that couldn't be.

Harem is still harem no matter how you look at it.
I just find is strange/unrealistic, etc. To me it's just soothe for people who lack any kind of romance/relationships in RL.

Normally, harems have the girls drop at his feet instantly, but this one doesn't. In fact, the slow progress is so natural that it doesn't end up with a bad taste in your mouth.

Stereotyping is, in essence, making an assumption about someone else. There are a couple of things I really did not appreciate about your post. When you say, "I thought people here would be able to look past that and look at the bigger picture", and then associate my opinion with that comment, it gives people the impression that I'm closed-minded. Secondly, "...opinions like Slextrem's is that they're more or less "Fanservice/Ecchi=trash manga", implies that I think that manga genre is trash, which I don't. Third, you're putting words in my mouth. All because I said:
Not cool.
I've sampled some series like Fairy Tail, One Piece, and High School of the Dead, all of which have some degree of fan service, and I personally had a harder time reading them because of it. That's why Fairy Tail is the only one that I'm still keeping up with. Does that mean I think that the stories themselves are trash? No. Would I enjoy it better without all of the kittens, ass, and pantie shots? Yes.
I don't doubt that Kimi no Iru Machi has a great story behind it, and I'm glad that you can appreciate the story for what it is, but the degree of sexual content that I found when I Googled the title was more than what I can handle.

This is Nami and when I was a huge One Piece Fan trying to talk every friend I know into this Manga.
This is when I became a lesser One Piece fan.
I never loved One Piece because of huge chest.
In other words I completely agree with you.

My shipping heart says the kiss, but showing the next generation would really reinforce the theme in the series. But I wanna see NH livereactions on YT from the kiss
All in all, I don't know.

Well it depends on how you watch them. I list school days as an example.
Most people who watched school days hated the entire thing and labeled it as the worst anime ever conceived.
I on the other hand laughed through the whole thing. The way the anime tried to be serious while just being utterly over the top terrible was hysterical to me. I watched the entire thing in a day and by the end my chest was aching in pain from the hours of constant laughing.
Then again school days is the only harem I've ever seen.... so I guess I wouldn't be the best person to explain this.

School Days was a big mess! LMAO! That's pretty much the only one I've watched also, and I couldn't believe the route it took. Pregnant teens. LOL! I watched it back in 08'. Funny show indeed, and I too ran through it in a day.

You know the sad thing is that anime could have been really good IF, and only if, it ended in episode 6 with a different ending. Funny, because it does feel like what if Naruto goes with Hinata? The answer is: boring. Sadly, I can't use that anime as an example because after episode 6, yeah what the hell did I just watch...

Sorry for the misunderstanding! I wasn't trying to say either One Piece or Fairy Tail should be classified as ecchi series. I was just using those as examples of series that have some degree of fan service in them that I've read. With One Piece, all of the women have giant boobs, they flash their cleavage everywhere, and most of the men are perverts. It's not extreme, but it was part of what turned me away from that series. That's not the only reason why I stopped reading it, though.

Funny, I always assume FT is the worst series for teenage girls, due to overblown questionable fanservice. I always ask my gf about that and she was like, "Sigh, well it's close to get to those magic RPG feeling manga, so why not."

Nothing wrong with this. I'm pretty evil also considering what I'm gonna do if NS becomes canon.

Hinata reminds me of Makoto or whatever her name was. The darker haired girl. LOL It was alright at first but as you've said, it went downhill when he turns into a player. LMAO.

Exactly.
I was like "Way to go!" for him going to his best friend, who happened to be well you know. Then after episode 6...he became my hated character. Granted people might think "Aight yo, that's my boy" but not me, man, and I'm a guy. The ending was truly wtf but yeah, that anime got way out of control. All I can say is nice boat.
