I just noticed that ss kids inherit more from sasuke than sakura thats just a huge middle to her character along with her being an housewife to a guy that mentally and physically abused her.

If I can say one good thing about the ending, it's that Salad is actually really adorable. I like that Kishi didn't give Sasuke a boy, and that he didn't give him multiple kids. Also, I will admit Sakura and Sasuke are legit the hottest couple. Some serious MILF and DILF kitten going on there haha

They are a hot couple. If Sasuke had treated Sakura better it would have been my OTP.

Question: are other non NS fans saying that ending is bull? not for the pairings but for the ending itself?

 

 

I am about caught up reading the replies to this topic.  My response may be a little late to some.

 

In answer to this question:YES!.  Most of my friends that follow Naruto, are either NH, or former SS that are now neutral.  They do not find this ending satisfying at all.  For my NH friends, they would have preferred to have development in the manga, not have everything retconned and asspulled in a movie.  They had hoped for an open ending altogether, but were ok with NS being likely to become cannon as it had the most development. They were fully aware that NS had development and even though it wasn't their preferred pairing, as long as that part of the story was consistent they could have lived with it. They do not think this was a proper ending and some are expecting this to be a huge troll. 

 

The (former)SS friends of mine are disgusted and horrified.  They don't think that this sends a positive message to girls/women reading the manga.  They too are calling this a huge asspull. 

 

 

They would have liked to see their ships happen, but not at the cost of being OOC.

 

edit: ooops, I didn't see the part for non pairing related stuff.  I think that goes without question.  I have yet to come across anyone I personally know that is happy with any part of the ending.  Believe me, when it comes to this stuff, we respectfully disagree with each other on most things.  This is one thing that appears to have a consensus.  Then again, perhaps as adults we are all expecting way too much from Kishi.

 

I could go into a whole dissertation as to what is happening here, but there is really no need since the NS fandom is the most intelligent of the fandom and probably already know.

 

In the end, there is only one OTP that won in my opinion all others lost:

This ending was a big middle finger to the entire fandom IMO.

I was a Zutara shipper for ATLA but didn't get disappointed too much cause it was pretty obvious where it was going. With ALOK I was shipping Bolin x Korra, then when she kissed his brother, was totes annoyed. Later started shipping Bolin x Asami then back to Bolin x Korra and now I'm shipping Bolin x Opal. I'm usually a shipper of the underdogs.

I don't read FT no more. The pairings were to obvious. I obviously ship NaLu, Erza x Jellel, Freed X Mirajane, etc etc. I read the fanfic though.

Is it strange that all my crack ships with Sakura are all uchihas except Sasuke. I BELIEVE Itachi would treat Sakura so much better.

I never watched Shingeki no Kyoujin or read it but I got into it mainly through a crossover. Sakura x Levi. Plus Levi is soo hot.

I find it odd the part where Sasuke thinks he notice something and says "it might just be my impression" though it's the last chapter so it's surely nothing important.
