Technically, they can never hurt us, but it does make me question...how desperate can you really get?

Well it depends on how much they're invested in their ship. I know years ago I used to rage over NH fans for insulting NS. Now I ignore and/or laugh. Considering that it feels like this series is really coming to a close and that Hinata is currently sleeping, the sky's the limit when it comes to how desperate they can get.

Take a good surf through Youtube and Deveint art and you'll see just how desperate an NH fan can be. I have seen one where they think a circle on naruto's hand automaticly makes NH justified. I'm not even kidding

I was right about don't have too expectations regarding the cover of new volume

in fact, the new volume is bigger than usual volume, this means that there are more chapters, probably 11 chapters.

 It's like he completely avoided it. I can't imagine how Gai and Lee were more important than Naruto and Sasuke dying, or even the cpr scene. What a wasted opportunity.

I think why he did that... In this volume there's more gai than Naruto. And then he cannot spoiler naruto's dying on the cover.... I was expecting all this honestly. Besides, a CPR scene on the cover is too strong for japanese standard tastes...

agreed it was expected. I didn't see it properly but thought that maybe Madara and his new suit will be on it.

It's the best they can do. They can only resort to this because Sakura is the biggest threat to them in the entire series. They don't don't just hate her, they fear her because deep down they can't shake the feeling that Naruto is still in love with her.

It didn't have to show the cpr directly, but at least have Sakura on the cover with Naruto. There's no reason why that couldn't be done. The Gai fight was nearly the end of the volume while a huge chunk of it consisted of drama surrounding Naruto and Sasuke's deaths. 

This was the perfect opportunity to have a NaruSaku cover (and perhaps feature Sakura in the spotlight) but Kishi blew it.

Its more like, putting salt on the wounds. He has blown of many opportunities. Perhaps because he wants to keep NS for the end. I am kind of getting used to it now.

I still don't really get what Kishi means when he said honest yet surprisingly stubborn

which part of the confession was stubborn? the defensive part or the lingering feelinsg she has for Sasuke?

If her confession was honest then that means she's aware that she loves Naruto, and Naruto loves her so....is the pairing war like....over now?

My problem with the cover is that it looks more like it has to do about this current volume then the last one I actually enjoy the fan made one more tbh
