Cortana may have been an AI but even I cried at that scene, I thought that both would succeed in destroying the composer and the didact, but I was so sad to see that, it was like the 10 years I spent from first playing Halo CE in 5th grade up to 2007 seeing the finale in halo 3, now just to see her die in the start of this new trilogy, that made me sad. I won't ever forget that first line There's 2 of us in here now.

Naru/Saku has much more than this, but I don't want to see it end like this in Halo 4.

Sgt. Johnson managed to escape Halo in the first game. We saw him die yet he survived. Im optimistic that Cortana can return.

Gotta agree with you guys. I don't doubt that NaruSaku will happen though some small part of me fears asspulling NH. I just doubt Kishi's abilitiy to do it in a satisfying and quality way. I want my OTP's canon confirmation to be believable and top notch. If it's lacking, then I will be disapointed. I just hope Kishi knows what he's doing.

Well the line is simple but in short its like this, S117, the Master Chief is very duty bound, always to defend humanity, but always had a notion of struggling with himself as a weapon and human. Cortana being an AI though tended to give him a notion of humanity. This line came near the end of Halo 2 when he was forced to abandon her so he could leave for Earth to stop a massive plan which would kill everything in the galaxy. In halo 3 he spent a lot of time trying to get her back and did, only for the first trilogy to end with them stuck in space, then in Halo 4, Cortana as an AI suffers from a state called rampancy, AIs would literally cease working right, become insane, and think themselves to death. They only live 7 years, she was alive for 8. In the end though, this had a big effect on the chief, Cortana as an AI managed to use her last power to protect him and bring him back to Earth in the end of halo 4. There is still going to be a halo 5 and 6, people don't know how they will continue it without her, she was literally the other main character and she just died.

Yeah I'm aware of what Halsey will do, but before we make this a halo thread, I just merely said, Cortana's words highly reminded me of one of the biggest points of why I like NaruSaku.

Also as @ Tauriel, and people just said Halo was another generic shooter, not with this amount of emotion, course thats also the reward for people who followed the series longer to know the full extend and meaning of the saddness this scene had, its like a major female icon from my childhood was ripped right out of it and left a gapping hole, only other real female heroine I can think that had a big impact on me from my childhood was Samus Aran, and I'm a guy.

It's going to be intense. Earth got hit, John gets an upgrade, Didact is around, what you said about SPARTAN OPs, and no Cortana. Who's his right hand man now? Will the novel Spartans return? Aribator? AHHHHHHH

Only Sony/Nintendo fanboy will say crap like that! Great story, beautiful art direction, great soundtracks (strongest point), recent great budget (guns sound amazing as well as every sound effect), great A.I., high replay value, and so much more. It's wonderful. There are great reasons why people still play Halo after the craze that is COD. I am forever Halo guy.

The way he told the story to Sakura about Gaara's fight does give him the idea that Naruto loves her so much to go over the limit. I won't be surprised if that's the case.

Now that Minato is going there, I'm pretty sure will come full circle. Minato will be in shock and obviously he will ask him why he acts so. We'll know all the truth about Rin from Kakashi. Maybe Naruto will say to Obito "I know what you feel, Obito" TNJ

So much possibilities. I do wonder how it all goes down. I hope Kishi don't read this and decided to not go with it. You know what I mean. Sometimes I always feel like the more stuff we reveal, the more he will avoid. It's as if he's trying to be tricky, but it come down to the same endpoint.

That's what I always feel. He's like thinking what could the readers think of, then make another idea that is complicated, but sometimes he makes the same ideas as we think of. Like there's no other way.

As if we leak the info for him. So it's best to either just wait or predict any NH/SS to make Kishi say, "Nope." I don't know. I keep it to myself before I truly think he don't want any of us right. Including NF people.
