Let me ask you this do you even realize what is your discussion been doing in here ? If not then let me point you out . What you are doing in here is basically bringing hate for the NS paring itself because by your opinion NS is destroying your favorite character  this is why people are mad , like we already don't get enough hate from the other  fandoms and now we are getting it from our own . You are demoralizing the fans and preventing them from enjoying the ship and also preventing the new fans who came here to find comfort in their ship . Tell me what do you think your discussion in here will accomplish ? Its not like we don't like Sakura to progress more because we all do because as a NS fans we love both of this characters but we don't put all the blame on the paring itself like you guys do and say kitten you to NS NO! because we all want both of the characters to progress as well as the paring and  just like @Inferno said in his last post not every NS scene/interaction is meant just for pairing validation . Sakura's moment to shine again will come i'm sure of it there's foreshadowing for it  she still hasn't fully released the seal and in order to fully surpass Tsunade she will  and the genjutsu thing still hasn't come up but i'm sure it will if there is one thing that is sure and predictable about Kishimoto is that he always fulfils his foreshadowings and the manga still isn't finished .
 
If you guys still want to continue this discussion about how NS is so bad for Sakura that has been going on for days then be my guest  this is my last and only post on this subject  until then take care all of you .

I know it's not directed to me but that wasnt what he said, he never said that NS is destroying Sakura's character, he only said that the way Kishimoto is portraing Sakura's character only on the pairing side without developing Sakura in terms of character is what is destroying her character.

Yes this is the NS debathe thread and thats why its getting annoying to see poeple in here complaining about kishis writing and developing a heroine. Why dont you open up a thread called "Why Kishi is a bad writer" so this thread stops getting spammed with this crap.

If you don't like this thread then stop reading in it,instead of calling it crap with every post.Right now you are just annoying people.And you are jumping to conclusions.No one said Kishi was a bad writer.They just expressed what they would like to see happen.

Could you please copy and paste the rules where it's written we're not allowed to discuss how the pairing may be detrimental to the character? And you clearly didn't read my post but take out my "Sakura's development =/= NS" conveniently. If you actually bothered to read you would know that I was talking about how the focus on NS had put a stop on Sakura's personal growth. It's still a topic related to pairings.
All you have been doing here is getting mad because people's discussion doesn't suit your interest. If you don't like the direction we're going, then either debate back or provide a more interesting topic. Telling people to stop their discussion because you don't like it is pure arrogance. Last I checked you weren't the king, and we're not obliged to listen to you.
You're tired about the discussion? WE'RE tired about people forcing us to stop discussing because it doesn't match their opinion.
If you want to be consistent in what you're doing tell the others to stop debating of NH, SS, Hinata or Obito. Stop hand picking us as if we're the only ones.

It's not just for NaruSaku,it's also about debate.Besides I personally think that It would be better if they had Sakura as her own character not just there to start pairing debates about her and Naruto.You yourself called it the debate thread.Since it's the only full debate thread on the site it can't be helped if people want to debate on it.

People in here discuss stuff besides of NS all the time and noone has a problem with it.
But all this negativity about an author and character going on for days in the same thread is getting irritatin and thats the reason why im writing here. If people want to check out the NS thread it would be nice to see something different then author blaming every day.

Personally I think Kishimoto is a good author.I wouldn't be able to write Naruto,let alone think of the ideas.People shouldn't be bashing,but as long as they're expressing their opinion politely it should be fine.There are other NaruSaku threads but this is the only major debate thread.So if people debate then it can't really be helped.Besides as for the Sakura issue,I would rather discuss her development before we discuss their development.She can't have the title of the best kunoichi without having more screentime focused on just her not both her and Naruto.Since season 1 of Shippuden she hasn't had many independant scenes.

For a battle manga, naruto lack battle(action) scene. I think this is happen because kishi doesn't use usual shonen battle formula. Most shonen manga use henchmen, mini boss, and boss system. One piece use this kind formula. So the like of nami, ussop, and chopper have action scene.

But at least sakura get boss battle at the beginning of part 2.
Oh the same reason why fandom think naruto is a weak character at the beginning of part 2 until naruto learn rasenshuleeken.

I can't understand why you can't open a separate thread yourself and discuss things that you want to be discussed there. If all you want to say is that you're irritated then it's you who should move to another thread. If you're not telling people to stop discussing, then I'm going to continue my discussion so deal with it and stop trying to cut in with complaints.

If you have a strong opinion against us, please feel free to express it with logical basis. I don't agree with most of what Inferno says, but I respect him because he is very detailed, he gives a basis to his arguments, and he always can reply with more insights when somebody points out something. If you can't express your opinion without rage, insults, and complaints against counterarguments you might as well admit that your opinion doesn't have a strong foundation in the first place. 

 

If you think we're being pessimistic then please give us some reasons to be optimistic. God knows how much I would love to see a post convincing me that the future is all rainbows, daisies and unicorns.

Why are you still here? You said that you were going to stop posting regarding this topic. What are you doing here contradicting what you said? 

 

Didn't you say that you're not telling us to stop discussing? Telling us to open up another thread is contradicting the former statement. Please make up your mind. Are you telling us to stop discussing in this thread or you're telling us to feel free to continue. Which is it?

 

We were talking about a topic related to pairings. Please tell me how this is a 'constant complaining in the wrong thread' and you emotionally repeating how irritated you are is not?

From this alone, I can see that you're nowhere near being a representative of the NS fans. 

 

You say that it's a waste of time to debate with people against your opinion but stop blaming other people for not being convinced with your irrational, emotional arguments. As I said, I respect Inferno and have felt better reading his posts from time to time. If you can't convince us with your logic, you're going to tell us to go away? Well, if you can't convince us in a logical manner, that's your problem, not ours. And therefore, there is no reason for me to move to another thread. 

 

Now, if what you said that 'you're not trying to stop us from discussing' is true, then I will continue my discussion so deal with it, and stop butting in. 

 

Edit: If you are going to repeat what you say like a broken record and not reply to any of my questions above don't bother replying. It's a huge waste of time. I have questioned you parts I don't understand regarding your statement as politely as possible. The least you could do is at least reply in a polite manner.

I don't know who your nobody consists of but that is none of my concern because my post does refer to NS. 

Well, you're free to wish whatever you like. You're also free to not read any posts that you don't want to read or cannot argue against. 

 

I don't know who it is you're talking about when you talk of people but the people I've talked with in this NS debate thread are intelligent and strong minded people that won't get brainwashed or swayed easily just because the general population says so. If that were the case, they wouldn't be a NS fan in the first place. If my argument was unnecessarily, and illogically negative, they would point out how wrong I am with their own sound arguments in a polite and calm manner. The same could be said for my unnecessarily, and illogically positive arguments, which I do have a past of posting it and being pointed out how I wasn't making sense, which they ended up being right and me being wrong, by the way. If you're worried about me swaying people, you can try to point out the illogical part of my statements and make a more sound argument. People will believe in posts that makes more sense to them. I think that is what Inferno is doing, and I believe there are many number of people who agrees with his posts than with mine :) (Which is a good thing because it means I have to brush up my debating skills) So I don't see any problem.

I understand.But people want to see Sakura develop-even if without a battle-on her own,with her own dreams and passions,not just with Naruto in a friendship way.So she can be better to support him.Sakura hasn't really had any major independant development since the War saga started.

Sakura has to take a monumental backseat to Naruto because he's the Messiah now. Before this destiny bullcrap, I at least thought Sakura would hold her own and not be this far behind Naruto. Now, Sakura is nothing but fodder compared to Naruto. In the beginning of part 2, Naruto was stronger than Sakura, but not by leaps and bounds. 

 

Yes, I agree with you, she has evolved in this war. But this power up and relevancy is only coming due to the climax of the story. Basically, he felt obligated to at least throw her a bone since he's neglected her for long.

 

Of course she's never gonna be able to at least catch up to Naruto from seeing distance because she only had one fight in part 2 that's actually memorable to me. So by default, in your own words, "she is the strong woman behind him." I'm sorry, but I'm not ok with that even though it's already sunk in long ago.

I would like her to fight more and do more things too.
But all this doesn't have the same effect on me.
Sakura just had a power up and she's been great saving Naruto. I'm happy about it.
In fact, the only thing that disappointing me right now, is the lack of acknowledging from Naruto of all she has done.

 

 

Sakura fans want her to have development outside of Naruto. We don't like Kishi portraying her like his wife who will heal him, talk for him, and support him like breathing air. She is the member of team seven. She should have her own dream, her own goal, and her own story that doesn't relate with Naruto. We want her to be portrayed as a shinobi of team seven, disciple of the fifth Hokage, and the strongest kunoichi who can be a master player in her own right, not as some trophy wife to a guy who is chasing the ass of his long lost 'friend'. The beginning of part two Kishi made us believe that that is going to happen (Kakashi's comment, Chiyo's comment, and Sakura's independency from her teammates). People are angry and frustrated because Kishi is not following what he started and left us hanging for like what? Several years? And certainly after all this waiting we don't want Sakura's development to end up being Naruto Uzumaki's wife, we want Haruno Sakura the strongest medic-nin and one of the Sannin.

Why are you bothering with the specifics? Gai's not dying anymore, which was the real concern. The impossible work was already done by Naruto. Anything else that comes after are just details, because he's okay now for the most part.

 

 

Naruto wasn't supposed to be a god when the manga began. Also, he may be a god all he wants, but that doesn't mean he has to steal other people's roles in this manga. He shouldn't be stealing Sakura's healing role, and yet he has done so twice. Which brings us to...

You're talking about healing. Naruto did not heal Gai. That's all. He did not steal Sakura's role. Nobody could have stopped the 8's gate process. Gai would have died.

That's why Kishi has done it like this.

Naruto wasn't supposed to be godly/messiah at the beginning it's true. At the beginning it was only about becoming Hokage.

You know, I'm sorry but he did not steal Sakura's role. With Shika, we don't really know what happened. Maybe Sakura's healing act as a catalyst with Naruto's chakra and that saved Shika.

 

Naruto participated too when Chiyo saved Gaara. It's Kishi's way to involve Naruto with some characters. It was the moment to introduce Shika as Naruto's future counsellor... that's why. And also to have Sakura thinks about him IMO.
