To be fair, at least there diversity within the gender and I don't mean their strengths. Even so, a female character would be nice.

Again, does anyone see the point of those gladiators trying to stop Flamingo? It's kinda pointless and eating up panel time. Seriously they need a plot important and exeptional fighter to keep Flamingo busy for the remaining time.

Those gladiators are some of the strongest in the world. Or are you talking about the normal gladiators and not the pirates?

I actually like Violet, her ability is dope. Vivi was cool, I don't think she would have added much to the crew though.

Well, Robin's impact will come later, its more potential addition for her at the moment, because in due time, she will be able to explain why it is Luffy is so special via the Rio Poneglyph. Plus, whatever they discover is gonna start a world war XD so....take that back! Robin brings much!!!!!!!

 

Also, here's part of a debate I'm having with someone on Mihawk vs Shanks in terms of power:

    

 

You're comparing a random punch aimed at Coby to another aimed at the World Strongest Man? You can't be serious. Fujitora was pushed back by a no name slash from a weaker swordsman like Zoro against the gravity. Unless you think Shanks is several tiers above Fujitora, how can't you see the difference in interactions? M3 someone called "weak" by Crocodile was capable to block Magellan's attack because his ability could counter Magellan's and Crocodile himself added "you never know how abilities interact with one another"

 

  

The Vista-Mihawk thing didn't bring much to the table. How long did they even clash? We only saw one panel clash or so. Was it 1minute? More? Less? You say he was clashing with Mihawk with ease, but you're dismissing the fact that Mihawk himself wasn't exerting himself either. At first, he was even spending more time looking at Luffy rather than clashing with the guy infront of him

And you clearly see the difference. From what we see in the Mihawk-Vista interaction, they were testing each other swordsmanship's skills in that short clash, making the entire thing inconclusive. For example, Luffy and Chinjao were more serious in their clash, fought much longer, but all-out Luffy can low-mid diff Chinjao at this point

 

The World government didn't fear fighting Whitebeard(who was stronger than Shanks), so i'm not sure what you're trying to prove with the last paragraph, unless you think Shanks is stronger than Whitebeard. Fighting Shanks at that point was meaningless. Their goal were already accomplished(killing Ace), even doing better(killed a yonko). Shanks himself stated if they continued, there would be useless casualities from both sides. Teach was already having his hands full with Sengoku and the other marines. Adding Shanks on top of it was also stupid. It's why they decided to stop

 

Once again, if Mihawk's slash is the strongest in the world, it means Shanks can't do better. Mihawk's title also places him above Shanks

 

 

First, yes, I believe that Shanks is well above Fujitora. It might have been a random punch as you said, but that doesn't do anything for your argument, as Akainu wasn't gonna hold back regardless. 

 

Lets just, for the sake of argument, ignore part of your post for a second real quick (I'll get to it in a sec), the fact is, regardless of why the Marines chose to stop, it doesn't change the fact that before the war even started, Shanks briefly fought Whitebeard, and actually beat Kaido. The most Mihawk has done was fight Vista, not counting fighting Shanks because they haven't fought in 10 years. By that alone, Shanks is above Mihawk. Also, I find it interesting that you mention Luffy, because Mihawk couldn't kill Luffy, and he was seriously trying to in order to test him. Part of the time he was impeded by interference, but the times he was free to attack, he failed to. 

 

Back to your talk about the World Government: Sengoku stopped the war because he knew Shanks would run all over them. Think about this. On the first page of the thread, Sengoku, Garp, Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru are all listed in the top teir. Of those fighters, only Akainu had significant injuries. Sengoku was relatively untouched by Blackbeard. Garp had only a cut on his forehead, given to him when he was hit by Luffy and hit the ground. Aokiji took two hits, one from Jozu, and a kick from Marco. Kizaru only took one kick from Marco. None of the warlords outside of Moria had any damage. 

 

In top tiers alone, the Navy had Shanks outnumbered 4 to 1 when it comes to healthy top tiers (by accordance to this specific list, as Shanks' crew isn't listed). At face value, Shanks is outmatched and at a clear disadvantage. Sengoku stopped the war, but according to those numbers, he didn't have to. I'm sure he wouldn't have minded taking the life of another emperor, we know Akainu wouldn't have. So why did he stop the war, when he had a clear advantage? Sengoku stopped the war because even with the firepower the Navy had at it's disposal, Sengoku knew that Shanks would have brutalized the Navy. Yes, he wanted to stop the war because he didn't want casualties, casualties that he knew Shanks and his crew would pile up easily. The bottom line is, at the end of the day, Sengoku feared Shanks. That's not debatable, that's a fact, and that alone puts Shanks above Mihawk. 

 

Each one of the points I listed, on their own, establish Shanks as above Mihawk, all of them together only exaggerate that difference.

hahahaha this guy thinks shanks isn't above fujitora? lol even an old ass whitebeard who was badly injured man handled akainu. emperors like whitebeard and shanks are on an entirely different level. they have more hype surrounding them than admirals. shanks stopping the war alone should tells the readers just how powerful the man is.
