I've seen female SS fans admit that they used Sakura as a self-insertion to be with the "cool" Sasuke. You know they'd be one of his fangirls in part 1.

Okay, I can get that part, being with "cool" guy mean popularity and other aspects of bieng in social life. But Sakura suffered because of Sasuke. At least they could use Karin as one, she despite having her flaws, was given with reason of "why". For Sakura it was rivaly game (see? It was in canon  ). Then Kishimoto just kept on forcing it as much as Naruto's wish of not killing Sasuke.

But in part 2, Sasuke was far from being "cool" guy.

I don't know if Sasuke was all that resentful towards his father, but his dad favoring Itachi did make him work harder to become stronger.

It's extremely easier for me to imagine Sasuke hooking up with Karin rather than Sakura. Karin is more abrasive, so it would just get to the point. Then babies. The end.  

 

Their personalities balance each other out. Naruto x Sasuke does too. But with Sakura? No. She's way too submissive with him.

SS just makes no sense. I don't care if Sakura still loves Sasuke. After what he said in chapter 693 there shouldn't have been any chance.

Sumbissive? That's not the word, more likely weak-willed.

In Karin's part, she was always funny with her attitude towards Sasuke, but that didn't make it less serious in terms of her motivation.

Yes now you get it , Love doesn't need a reason   but that's only for SS the rest pretty much does need one  , but you see SS isn't an ordinary paring like the rest its special so BANANAS     .

It's not as if they could make any difference in asserting their will over him if he didn't want to be bossed around. Were Sakura or Karin to try and establish a tsundere dominance over Sasuke, the moment they punch him, he might very well snap, release Susanoo, and then dismember their limbs one by one whilst leaving them to cry for themselves and bleed to death, their mangled bits of bone and arteries hanging loosely out. A grim sight, but a very plausible one considering Sasuke's usual state of mind.
