Nothing wrong with hope, Rose. :) Besides, there's things about the ending that don't seem right, so it's all speculation since we all interpret things differently as we look at them :)

I know. Nothing in the ending makes sense, when you look at the rest of the 698 chapters. It's like the series went slice of life shoujo at the last second.

 

I have accepted the ending, but I will never be convinced that nH/Ss was meant to happen or would actually work out. However, a small part of me hopes everything you guys have theorized comes true in the movie. But if it doesn't, then I will always hope Kishi pulls a Rowling, after X amount of time and confesses his mistake.

 

But, you all keep posting, cause I love reading all the little details being pointed out.( Especially that SP clown logo, like what was up with that?)

I didn't like Rowling admitting her "mistake."  I called Ron/Hermione back in Chamber of Secrets, and felt vindicated.  The way she wrote the novels for 7 books, it was always destined to be a Ron/Her at end game.  She says she considered it a bit of wish fulfillment, but the way she developed the characters, it made perfect sense.

 

I was a Ginny/Draco and Harry/Luna shipper and I got double burned on that.  But I was happy with Harry/Ginny, because he got what he'd really wanted all along - a family.  A nice, big extended family.  (Marrying Hermione.... he wouldn't get that.  Hell, she had to erase the memories of her own parents. They don't know who she is any more.)

1) Sorry, I really don't know more about those damn whiskers :( As for Toneri... We don't really know anything about him except that he is the villain. Is Naruto really rescueing Hinata in the end? Maybe Toneki gets redeemed (Sasuke was)... I personally don't think Toneki is related to Himawari at all, but that's just me.

3) Haha, I've also noticed that Lee's son is not in school, but then again: How old is he really?

 

This whole brother thing with Himawari: I don't want to say too much b/c I believe that an official translator here ought to translate that one sentence. From what I've gathered though, in Japan, you usually refer to your elder siblings with "Oni-sama" and "One-sama"- thus, Himawari might have never said her brother's name b/c she simply doesn't as a younger sibling.

"Bolt again?" Well, obviously b/c Bolt has been doing these pranks for a while now. Whether or not she's his mom, she'd be shocked but prepared for another one of his pranks.

People believe that Sarada is really Karin's and Sasuke's daughter whom they wanted Sakura to raise...

No idea why Bolt is wearing pink. I'm also clueless about the various symbols on his outfit, but they seem to simply symbolize his name just like Himawari's do.

 

this whole thing is too confusing honestly :/

Definitely - I think I would have been more accepting of a H/H ending than I am of NaruHina, that's for sure!

 

Ginny/Draco appealed to me because it had that Romeo and Juliet vibe.  I'd given up on that by the end of the 6th book, though.  Harry/Luna was fun - she was quirky, smart, and spacey, sort of the Manic Pixie Dream girl, but ultimately she would not give Harry the emotional support he needed.
