Get down from that high chair of yours. I have been following your posts and I wish to do this everytime but I ignore. But I am saying it now. Even you for one that Sakura has done way more stuff than Hinata and its only her love for Sasuke that makes her digress. Just look at Hinata...she is not even in the main picture! Its Kishi's kitten move this chapter that has made her do that. Blame the puppeteer and not the puppets! Show me when Hinata has been shown fighting as elegantly as Sakura? You cannot judge a character taking into consideration only one of the factors!

narusaku256, please know that just because a person has a different opinion to yours does not mean he is sitting on a high chair.

Reading the manga you notice that most of the girls are dependent on the guys and there characters are pretty much in the males shadows all the time.

Sakura twice as much. Hinata could live her life not being with Naruto and move on, as long as Naruto is happy. Sakura can't move on, because Sasuke is still evil, and she wants him to be good. 

And so is Naruto.

I mean that they would get the shaft in terms of relevancy, screen time, and fights. That's been a consistent staple of the manga since the beginning. Just try to compare Sakura to either of her teammates or Hinata with Neji throughout the various arcs they've appeared in. Playing the second fiddle and the damsel in distress to the males doesn't require a romantic subplot.

Oh and btw, she is in genjutsu... Remember back in pt 1 that Sasuke was in one for 1 full week where he had to relive his parents' death over and over again. Prolly Sakura atm is reliving Sasuke's stab over and over again. But she will come out of it.
But do not expect it soon! This is the cliffhanger of the moment.

I just wanted to drop by one last time and offer some words of encouragement  but before that yes,  Sakura’s character regressed several steps back and there is no way to defend it but this was done purposefully (albiet poorly executed) by Kishi to milk this stupid “pairing game” that he’s been playing for almost 15 years now to the bitter end like most expected.

Remember, Kishi is the king of TROLLING and it seems like a lot of people keep getting suckered in no matter how obvious or  transparent he is. How many times in this series has Kishi made a character look so bad only to redeem them sometime later? Longtime Naruto fans (myself included) will  remember just how pathetic Naruto looked for about 4-5 years chasing after Sasuke, wondering if he would ever be redeemed in terms of regaining his sense of self  confidence,  pride, and honor (all of which he showcased during the war).

The same can be said about Sakura (during the Kage Summit Arc), many people questioned if it were ever possible to redeem her after all the stunts she pulled during that time but she eventually did turn it around during the war (saving Naruto’s life, kicking butt, etc). I guess my point is that within the next 6-8 chapters, something will most SURELY happen to redeem Sakura’s character once again cuz that’s always been the pattern with Kishimoto.  This story is ultimately about (in Kishi’s words) “ a boy named Naruto” and it will most surely end on a POSITIVE note.  

TRUST me, Kishi cannot milk this “game” much further (2 months tops before the movie comes out) without there being some sort of resolution. Although he is a poor writer, Kishi has proven that he is a master at flipping the script on a dime and will ultimately “ammend” any wrong doings that he has done with his main characters some way some how and the same applies with Sakura. I don’t know how he will do it but my best guess is that Kishi will make Sakura finally come to realize her true feelings for Naruto  and sort them out during the genjutsu she’s currently in and/or with the help of Hagaromo (ex. Flashbacks).  We’ll just have to wait and see but I’m betting on things turning out for the positive.

 

Yeah. Kishi can't keep this triangle going on forever. I hate it when writers do this, because they want to please everyone. He's killing off every single possible pairing. In the end there'll be nothing but SasuNaru gayness...

 

Either that or bring Sakura's character back.

That's what I'm not so sure of. It's also possible the genjutsu is finished and she just passed out. I think it's not so clear.

1 chapter to make Sakura the most hated character of the manga. 700 chapters of loving a guy who tried to kill her, her friends and the 5 kage.  Seems legit. Kishi knows what hes doing

i am angry thet say that he didn't hurt really her in genjutsu...  My ass, even though it was a genjutsu that piercing was really painful for her... Geez... Did they have forgotten that a genjutsu can give pain, like when Kakashi or Sasuke were been tortured by Itachi in his Tsukuyomi for 72 hours?

I think the matter is that some people don't really understand how love works. Remember what I told you guys around last year or so that it took me about 6-7 years to really get over the first guy I loved. Love doesn't just go away like that.. like Hagoromo himself said, love is a complicated thing.
Kishi basically gives the reader all the information, is up to the reader if he understands or not. Granted, Kishi could've done a better job in some aspects, but in this aspect he keeps it real.

As for Karin, she never said she's done, btw. That was a mistranslation..

You're definitely right, for some people it takes years to get over their first love. But as Sasuke perfectly said: "I don't see what she likes about me." That is the same thing for many of us readers. Sakura's love just isn't believable whatsoever. The fact that her love lasted this long when Sasuke has given her thousands of reasons to let go is just baffling. He doesn't respect her, her feelings and her strength. He mocks at her while she begs him to stop doing what he's doing. Her love may be real to her, but Kishi has definitely portrayed it in a way where it's not even believable. It has led many readers to question how long can she love such a character when you factor in all these things.

One thing someone mentioned to me was that anytime Sakura gets a moment of development, the next moment all that development goes away. And then she has another fleeting moment, and bam, something happens to make it go away or something. I wondering if this is true now..
