Naruto just saved Gai from a fatal wound with the flick of his hand. All of Sakura's hardwork as a medic don't matter in the face of the plot. She's nothing in comparison with Naruto.

This truth hurts me so kittening much. I know it's not Kishi's intention, but when ever I see that crap it looks like a big middle finger is getting pointed at Sakura. This is one of the very little things that makes Sakura relevant, and god-mode Naruto had to diminish that with his BS power-up. Hell, he doesn't even know what he did to Gai.

 

Tsunade has the magic touch, Naruto has the magic touch, so when the hell is Sakura gonna get the magic touch?

OK guys, Naruto didn't heal him, for all we know he just give him some charka, and that was enough to keep him from dieing. that's about it. 

 

Naruto still isn't a healer, maybe his new power is nagating attacks though at him. 

 

who knows? 

 

But why so negative? 

 

The smallest things seem to make you guys think that Sakura is not doing as well. ( Tsunade is still top healer, age and exp...That's not going to change right away.) The Sage's power to Naruto is going to be something useful, and something that fits what they need right now. 

 

Kishi has already put Sakura in place to have a role in this in the plot, whatever Obito's request is...Whatever her role in this is, It's going to be good. 

 

Sakura is a member of the team too, her support role, she has Naruto's back...always. 

 

She can fight too, but right now, I'm interesting in what her "behind the scenes moment with Obito" is going to turn out to be. honestly, I"m more interested in that then Naruto and Sasuke's fight. ( It seems more...Ninja...doing things no one else can see....plotting. Obito is plotting SOMETHING...I just know it. ) 

 

And who knows if it's a good thing, it may be something Sakura has to stop. He may do something good, offer his other eye to Kakashi... Think of Rin..etc..

 

On the other hand, he may plotting something that only Sakura can do that goes beyond that. Sakura still has a role to play in all of this. I wish more NS fans here wouldn't get so negative. 

 

We get enough of that outside of this forum.

Hasn't Sakura done many great and cool things? 

 

I think she has. 

 

I point them out, one at a time to all the haters who try to convince me that she useless. It shuts them up pretty good.

They are correct, but I don't see anyone making theories of it. I think people are questioning it because we don't know what it means, people are curious. And believing it isn't delusional at all. Personally I am 50/50. Right now I'm brushing it off, as it leads us nowhere. If we ever get another hint, I might make connections.
 
The symbol on Naruto's belly is a circle. That does not mean it is the Haruno circle, but Minato's kyuubi mode has an Uzumaki symbol on his belly. His wife's symbol! So Naruto's circle might be related to Sakura. Why I have no idea, it's a tiny detail, too little to make something out of.
 
I don't get it tho, if you're a nh fan is it suddenly not a circle anymore? How can one twist something that already looks identical..?

Yeah I agree and feel the same way cause not to long ago some people started to connect Hashiramas Sage mode circle symbol on his forehead to Sakura's circle and since then it still doesn't have any relevance to each other.

But regardless of all the jokes I'm actually really interested in their interaction in this chapter. Obito asking Sakura one final request, not as an ally but as an enemy?? That speaks major plot reveal in the final battle for me lol

Im deadly serious i dont give more than one month to appear the first doujin where Obito rapes Sakura on the pocket dimension.
Just like the Sasori x Sakura ones, and 4th tails Naruto x Sakura which makes me laugh everytime with her line "is this the power of a jinchuuriki?".

I find this very very funny and almost ironic timewise:

 

People are complaining a bit because of how Sakura is portrayed, not doing anything. So we assumed she would be left behind or healing guy in the current timeframe, when today's chapter caught us with a sudden new event that Sakura will have some last request to do for Obito. Its not the most major of deals but it will be something. So isn't it funny how some say she isnt important or ever given anything? Its not going to be plot altering, but whatever it is that involves Obito, it should be something of notability. Obito has been the biggest insigator of the series, responsible for Naruto's parents dying and silumatenously the suspsions against the uchiha which bred further discontent to the point he helped Itachi kill the clan members. Obito, the one who manipulated nagato, had followed this long plan from madara without so much as a question if it failed or if something went wrong. Yes obito is important, but this was the thing that got most people off, since when did Sakura ever have any involvement with Obito directly? Well guess this is that time.

I'm fine with how Sakura is portrayed honestly. Its a shame she isn't in more fights but then again she's a medic and most of the fights as of part 2 go to either OP characters or the really, really popular ones.

My money is on destroying the Rinnegan Obito has and leaving Obito to die in the Kamui dimension with black Zetsu. But I have a feeling that destroying the Rinnegan isn't going to be easy and it's going to make sakura give everything she has to destroy it. not necessarily. Depending on what Obito will ask of her it may take some time. Especially if he asks her to take care of Naruto or something

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I believe we're about to get a Sakura/Rin parallel. Obito will ask Sakura to end his life and whether or not sakura does it, during that period obitio will see be reminded of Rin while he looks at Sakura. 

 

I see sakura going to end obit and an image of Rin will appear over Sakura's face.

You find it ironic, but I do not. Sakura has been in the background since the end of the first reunion arc, had an abysmal run when she was relevant for the second, and she may (or may not) be relevant for something now. If she's going to be relevant now, that's cool, but it changes the fact that she was background noise for well over three hundred chapters.

What this shows is that Kishimoto had no idea what he was doing when for the most of part 2 and she only did something when Sasuke crossed paths with Konoha. I have a few SS fans as friends and they had been complaining about this for years now and I always mocked them because in my opinion, they were just butthurt over not having anything for their pairing, but I've got to admit they were correct in the end (about this matter).

 

This is bad because Sakura's only relevance, team 7, was seriously cut when Naruto and Sasuke were revealed to be hosting Ashura and Indra. She's outside of that mystical struggle and to think she can make a difference when Sasuke doesn't care about what anyone thinks and Naruto says he can do anything is naive.

 

The potential of this Obito scene is high, I agree. However, it comes at an odd moment. Sakura just had her moment with Naruto, so that is over for now. Whatever they're going to discuss isn't about Naruto. It will be either about Kakashi or Sasuke. It can be about Team 7 as a whole as well, but expect Sasuke.
