I meant, if he wanted more money he should have done something that revolves around Team 7 as Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi are one of the most popular.

 

They (as in Kishi and SP associates) probably thought that the film would be a huge success outside of Japan since NaruHina tended to be what many fans prefered to see happen in the end. (Even though most Naruto fans outside of Japan are freeloaders). They probably assumed that a NaruHina film would be huge, even bigger than a Team 7 film.

 

Within Japan, All they had to do was call the movie "The Last" (implying that it's the last naruto movie ever) and heavily promote Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi to get people to buy tickets (which is basically what they did). 

 

Also Remember that, SP had the most control over the film and they probably care more about Hinata than the popularity of the series anyway. Kishi just went along with it (while giving some of his own ideas) assuming that it was a good idea........(lol spineless man )

Wasn't his fight before Sakura's? I'm pretty sure you meant something else during the Chunin exam b/c he has never cheered her in during the fight.

Well, AoT beat One Piece though I admit I thought it lost fans that is until I saw limited edition of AoT, so adding both will give them over a million easily. Seems like Arslon is gaining popularity thanks to anime.

Well, AoT beat One Piece though I admit I thought it lost fans that is until I saw limited edition of AoT, so adding both will give them over a million easily. Seems like Arslon is gaining popularity thanks to anime.

That's ironic that he gave her a shot at seeing genjutsu, yet that supposedly hyped up perk never got explored.

Naruto cheered Hinata on in the Neji fight and helped her overcome her struggles, and Sasuke cheered Sakura on in the Chuinin Exams (Not as much as Naruto but still something) plus he saved her. I agree but he still had Kakashi and Minato who both loved him. 

 

 

 

One note interactions that were not worth very much 

 

For example, I could counter argue that with the fact that only thanks to Naruto that sakura gained strenght and managed to draw with Ino. 

But this is also an one note thing.

 

What I'm talking about is constant casual interaction/ chemistry , Naruto and Sakura had this in part 2 and they show Obito and Rin had this in their various flashbacks
