Thanks for the compliment on my debating as well. It's pretty easy to trip up the "educated snobs" because they always forget basic things. XD Such as the fact Sasuke hasn't expressed ANY signs of love for Sakura, and Naruto just sees Hinata as a friend. That makes it pretty easy to shoot down comparisons to things such as Romeo and Juliet (they loved each other, Sasuke does not show any feelings for Sakura). One debater even tried to compare Sasuke to a knight who kept his unrequited love for a princess a secret for years (I forgot the name of the story), but the knight was actually more like Naruto!

I'll get back into the debating arena proper when we get back to the main story. I'm hoping for lots of NaruSakuness! Sasuke's out of the way, Sakura realised Naruto is really important to her, and Naruto and Sakura will be with each other for some time before they even find Sasuke!

Hmm.. if Gaiden does finish this week, and Kishi/Shonen Jump don't take any breaks... we could see Naruto and/or Sakura next week.

Hehe, yeah. It's a Christmas story, about 2 chapters long! One for Xmas, the other for New Year. Long, descriptive writing in each chapter.

Unfortunately, I had to scrap "Too Deep" since it felt too contrived for my own liking, it felt like I was just twisting the characters around what I wanted to happen, rather than let things grow. But I've used the good parts of it in the Christmas story, and it does include a moment for Sori's "Sudden Downpour" pic.

It's worked nicely for me so far. The original Xmas story didn't really have any purpose to it, and "Too Deep" felt too twisted around, but I took the good parts from each one and made them into one story - and it fits beautifully.
