That wouldn't be bad. Image if Kishi shows a scene where Sakura helps somehow Naruto, long before Hinata cheered on him.

Lol, that'd be the biggest slap in the face of other fandoms...not only NH.

 

And still they will hate her with the addition of feeling butt hurt lol. Or maybe they will say it was an a**pull like her power up.

Kishi knows Sakura is highly hated for her love for Sasuke so I don't think he'll do that...

In the interview where people talked about the confession, Naruto's VA gave Kishi a really bad feedback and by the tone of his voice, so to speak, he was really pissed when people said that he used Naruto's feelings for her. So yes, a part of the Japanese fandom really dislikes this trait about her. That's why I think that if Kishi revises it, he's definitely going to change things in Sakura's favor.

well, it's just a rumour... besides, he said that he would revised some parts of the first part... Like during neji's death, he revised his part during the chuunin exams... remember the bird symbolism? That could be an example about what he will make forward... Since he said in an interview that all foreshadowing he put in the manga will have its closure.

It just dawned on me that there have been very few contextually romantic on-screen kisses. Tsunade and Dan is one of the few pairings where we actually saw some degree of intimacy between the two characters. I wonder why that is. Perhaps it's related to Kishi's proclaimed inability to properly write romance?

That could be possible. I am aware that kiss scene is rare in Japan due to something I heard about them not showing it, I don't know, it's been a while. That said I do think he's capable to do a kiss scene. Bakuman did it in picture and that was Shounen. Shounen Jump is no longer excuse to do and his art is capable to have two characters to do a kiss because sometimes art can play a factor of not able to do a kiss, unless you're pressing lips. I'm only hoping that because he's holding on for only main characters to get on-screen kiss scene. Granted they can play a zoom out idea, but I think on-screen is just fine.

If, and that is a big if, a kiss scene happens, I'm sure it's going to be on the forehead. That's as close to a kiss we would get. Because, honestly a kiss scene in a shonen manga is a bit too awkward. I know I would feel awkward reading that lol.

He's been writing Naruto for over 10 years. I don't think anyone's going to stop him if he wants to add a kiss to his manga. Nobody stopped him when he made the manga seinin for a chapter, and nobody will stop him when he makes it awkward for a chapter.

I respect that. I'm just one of those guys that feels like a kiss is magical moment. Maybe because how cinema (depends) or series often portray kissing as a wonderful moment in life. Again, that's just me.

Well, I think the anime is just trying to say that she means a world to him and he will confess but now it's not the right time. If he wins, he will be outstandingly happy. If it never come, he will still love her, so long she's happy, hence the parallel with him and Jiraiya. That said well it could be their fault for not adding some parts that make his love completely unstoppable or our fault to try to find a loophole. Basically, see it how they see it.

I'm sure the sasusaku or naruhina fandom would be equally upset if there was a filler episode where Sakura or Hinata say that they love Sasuke or Naruto, but they wouldn't be really bothered if their feelings weren't reciprocated.

Many people still think Naruto's love for Sakura is just a crush, but I wouldn't blame the anime team. They did make a whole episode where he basically described his love for Sakura in vivid detail (235). I think this can all be traced back to the fact that most (or just a lot of) people who read Naruto take everything at face value. Yes, it's equally bad to over-analyze things, but if you don't take time to look "underneath the underneath," foreshadowed events will occur in the manga and you'll be taken completely off guard. 
 
Need proof? Just look at the fans' response to Sakura's character and the her confession to Naruto. Both are absolutely loathed by many fans. Lots of Sakura-bashers think that just because she doesn't have OP abilities (although she may have one now), she's "weak" and "useless." They fail to realize that the whole purpose of her character is to be portray a normal person that you can relate to, in an otherwise foreign world. I highly doubt any of us have had our families massacred by our siblings, or were orphans scorned by the entire neighborhood. We are supposed to connect with Sakura...not hate her. 

I think it is because she has no tragic past that has basically given her a free pass to be bashed. They fandom is usually more forgiving towards the serial killers, ironically enough. Combine that with the fact that she was a normal 12-year-old fangirl and you have the perfect storm.
 

Then we have the confession. To me, it's the most controversial scene is all of Naruto. Anti-Sakura/NS fans are quick to tell you that she is a liar and that she only confessed to hurt Naruto, and that just hurts my head.   I'm not going to share my thoughts on it because other people on this forum can explain how she was being truthful much better than me, but Kishimoto flat out told us that she was being honest. Heck, he even had Sai tell us her true intentions. All they got from the confession was that Sakura can only love Sasuke and she likes to put Naruto in pain. It seems like whenever Sakura/a topic that requires some extra thought is presented, people always assume the worst. 

Not only the most controversial, but the most confusing. There definitely needs to be a follow-up somewhere down the line.
 

So basically, just because Naruto hasn't yelled out to the world that he loves Sakura (which Hinata and Sakura have done), his feelings are automatically weak and easier to move on from. It's a shame really. Everything Naruto has done because of his love deserves to be celebrated, not glossed over because of 615. 

Ah, I remember the anime team changed Naruto's fight with Gaara from "I'll protect Sakura-chan!" into "I'll protect Sakura-chan and the village!" I guess with Naruto, he has the luxury of being a main character with the main goal that is not romance orientated, which is why people quickly forget his feelings towards Sakura.

I completely expect a forehead kiss to occur - I mean, now that the Sakura-Kushina parallel is confirmed, I think that gives us good grounds to assume that a revise of the Ch 3 forehead scene will occur with NaruSaku.

 

However, I also think that a lips kiss may have been foreshadowed as well. For instance, Naruto (as Sasuke) almost kissed Sakura in Ch 3 only to have it interrupted because of Naruto's stomach pains. We also have the incident where Kurama teases Naruto about never having kissed a girl (by the way, can anyone tell me what chapter this comes from?)

 

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Kishi did go the route of having a lips kiss for NaruSaku - then again, I suppose I also wouldn't be surprised if he went the only-forehead-kiss route.

 

Although I would love to see Sakura pull Naruto by the collar and kiss him or something...

Haha, you just reminded me of that scene in Ouran Highschool Host Club, where Haruhi has meant to kiss a girl on the cheek, but someone bumped Haruhi and it became a kiss on the lips.

I meant near the last few chapters of the manga. And I suspect Kishimoto doesn't have a set deadline, even in his interviews he says the series will probably take longer to finish than he anticipated.

Again, I think the anime is only trying to make Naruto's love very legit. It could be our fault to look too deep or they just didn't sound it right, much like Sakura thinking if he has to rescue one, who should it be. While I know they want to heat up the love triangle, that was a misfire on their part but oh well.

Honestly, the anime team is extremely biased with NaruSaku and they tend to add more scenes to the canon, including the episode when Naruto woke up from KN4. That episode alone was NS galore, with Naruto grabbing Sakura, Sakura constant worrying, both of them trying to reach to their hands which Naruto missed, Sakura blushed before going tsun tsun, and Naruto's shocking face for hurting Sakura in a cliffhanger no less. They're biased and it shows. They're pretty much rooting for this pairing. It's oddly normal for anime studio to do this. Others like Fairy Tail and Bleach did it, so this isn't new.

I know what you mean. That does make sense about Kuruma making fun of Naruto for never kissed a girl. I bet when he does, he'll be like "Yeah! Where's my ten?" Anyway, that was chapter 571 or 572.

You know, I would like Sakura to be the one to kiss him surprisingly, which will shock Naruto, only for her to realize what she's doing. She let go and she go all tsundere about it saying like well "you may have no luck on women, so I thought I should give you an idea." Naruto blacked out on her and just kiss her and they both enjoy it. Actually, is it best for them to be alone all the way, or be alone until after it's done, Team 7 will be there just looking and perhaps just smile.

I find it strange this theory keeps on popping up everywhere. Am I the only one who thinks there is no point for another Karin in this story?
