You know, what if we are misled. I'm not saying to trust anime and this, but won't it be funny that we got the wrong interpretation. I would probably laugh while driving to a store, buying something random, still laughing, goes back home, go to my room, and continues to laugh. Yeah...imagine that...

The going from crush to love still doesn't make any sense since such terms aren't used in Japan as far as I know. When you like someone the term used for it is always "suki".

If it was in japanese I would bet the description would say Sakura used to "suki" Sasuke, but then in 540 lover-nin says that if she has someone she "suki" he must be a great person.

So going by that if Sakura still likes Sasuke then the statement in that description becomes an automatic lie. Either Sakura doesn't like Sasuke, or that picture is a lie. I'm not saying that Sakura doesn't like Sasuke right now, but that description definitely doesn't fit with the scenario of Sakura still liking Sasuke. That's all.

Her love for Sasuke is selfish. Though, I took another look at the Team 7 reunion when I was debating Crimson, and I noticed that there is a panel http://www.onemanga....to_manga/483/8/.
Where she first acknowledges that Sasuke has changed. This does make me wonder, because even though we had the first team 7 reunion, this is the first time in part 2 when she actually sees Sasuke's evil side when he asks her to kill Karin. Then we get 540 with the great man comment and her not being happy. Now, she should have figured Sasuke out a long time ago, but it seems like she is getting over him.

Didn't Chatte say that what Kishi actually said in his interview was "She says she loves Sasuke, but Naruto is close to her heart". That diminishes Sakura's remaining feelings for Sasuke even further.

A very reasonable scenario. And if Kishi wants to fail as a writer forever then he'll probably go along with that idea. On the other hand, if he wants to stay true to Sakura's development then he'll make her understand that no matter who Sasuke can become the one she wants to share a future with is Naruto.

I feel like she will be in actual confused state. If Naruto does something "impressive" before Sasuke arrival, she can be in conflict if she sees Sasuke being good. It's like a new love is born only the old love return. That's how I see it. But, we shall wait.

While we can only find out. But don't forget that he asked her to kill Karin. The other things to consider are that Kishi called it a selfish love, and that Sasuke has never been the romantic type and as evidenced by his reaction to Karin isn't likely to change. Why is Sakura's love selfish? Is it because Sasuke is evil? Is it because it is one-sided? Or is it because Naruto has sacrificed so much for her because he loves her? That part is vague but the fact that he said selfish means two things.

A. That this is a negative aspect of Sakura

B. Because it is negative, it will be an obstacle for her to overcome

Sasuke's motives are still unclear. Though he has pledged to protect the village, after Madara and Tobi are defeated what will he do next? Personally I don't buy the whole redeemed idea, however considering we haven't gotten a new chapter yet:

How were Hashirama and Itachi able to keep peace? Through power. Hashirama killed Madara[or severely injured him] when they fought, effectively ending his threat to stability. Itachi murdered his whole clan in order to preserve that stability.
Because of this Sasuke will most likely take a totalitarian approach after this war ends.

Naruto, whose mentors have supported an alternative to power for peace will consider bonds the way to maintain peace.

They will clash and as long as Sasuke believes that power is the way, then Sakura cannot support him and he has not changed.

She won't regress to an extreme extent but she'd be in full-blown confusion over her true feelings with Sasuke like this, even worse than it is now. Before, back in the Kage Summit and 540, she wanted her feelings to be removed because he was evil, tried to kill her, and not a great person in the least. Those were her reasons for it, now she'll have to question herself again. Sakura's already confused over Naruto and whatever she feels for him but then Sasuke comes back, sane and not ax-crazy. IMO she's not going to start ignoring Naruto because of him being like this, she'll just have to go through a searching phase.

I'm not doubting NS's canon likelihood, it's still pretty obvious IMO. Kishi's just being a troll and threw another wrench in the pairing drama. Or at least he intends to, there's no doubt. Sakura has stronger subconscious affection for Naruto, shown in the Kage Summit when she put him above Sasuke. The trick is realizing it and Kishi's gonna pull something that triggers it. The bright side about this is now no one can say Sakura chose Naruto as a 2nd choice given Sasuke's 'good' status now.

Damn Kishi, screwing around with the pairing drama again. Guess the NH focus wasn't enough, let's bring in the fully-functioning T7 love triangle with added complications.

Agreed, though I think that trigger you are talking about has to be the fight between Naruto and Sasuke. Its obvious that Kishi doesn't want to be backed into a corner over these pairing debates just yet. Though, hopefully we get some more panels showing Sakura's getting over Sasuke or some more NS moments.

well prediction time. i agree with ns4l3g, obito will die first. but before that he will be tnj with combination of team 7(sakura include), edo kage will come when obito defeat to fight madara, and according to kishi, sasuke only meet naruto in this war.

Agreed, though I think that trigger you are talking about has to be the fight between Naruto and Sasuke. I was pretty iffy if the Sasuke vs. Naruto fight would happen or not now but it's been hyped for so long now, it wouldn't make sense for Kishi to just toss it aside now. I just wish I knew how it'll happen. There is no way Sasuke's going to get worse after something like this but it's true he still has no reason to be nice to Naruto. He's probably not going to either, even though he still cares for him somewhere. And Sasuke's still halfway to redemption, he needs to overcome his hatred for Konoha and his hatred for bonds. Naruto's going to be involved with that for sure, I just wish I could think of something that would temporarily flip Sasuke into a moment of weakness. Like I said he's not going to get truly worse but that doesn't mean he won't make things difficult.

And this is why I dropped the series. I'm sick of Kishi treating his fans like we're his playthings. It just goes to show you how he views his fans. And it's not just the pairing stuff that gets to me. 627 was the last straw for me as he finally screwed over all the Naruto vs Sasuke development.

Honestly, I'd recommend everyone to switch over to Fairy Tail. Better story-telling, better character development, and better pairings.
