I'm serious! The week were going to Tokyo, Psy is going to be there doing a concert! Ramen won a contest to be on stage for Gangnam Style, and he's going to be dressed as Hinata!

Yeah. Itachi requested that Sasuke would be spared, it was his only stipulation to take the job of killing his family and keeping peace.
 
It's hinted later on the Itachi was a child solider during a war (I'm not sure which maybe against the Sand?) and during the 9 tails attacked. After that he became dedicated to the idea of peace, so when his entire clan planned on starting a war he wanted to stop them because he wanted to save as many people's lives that he could no matter who they were. Most of the Uchiha are shown to have an idea of "clan first" no mater the cost, but Itachi rejected that.
 
Of course originally Itachi was just a mass murdering a**hole who took the fact that he was the outcast of the Uchiha clan by killing them all, but you know..... Retcons and Naruto go hand in hand.

Speaking of, we need to tag team an itinerary for our next Lord Obito FC meeting. So far I've got:

1.) Warm welcome, including cookies and milk.
2.) Get scolded by Naruko for destroying kitchen in process of trying to make cookies
3.) Talk about Lord Obito, and how his experiences have changed our outlook on the concept of morality and hatred
4.) Ask for Lord Obito's forgiveness for not being as cool a guy as him
5.) Run around the neighborhood wearing Lord Obito goggle replicas (we're not powerful enough to wear the originals, were simply mere mortals)

That's all I got for now. As VP Luffy, do you have any further additions to our schedule?

Kishi give the backstory of obito, he's an orphan thus make rin as his only light. But in my opinion, he's too late to give obito that back story. He give it after tobi identity reveal. Kishi should explain in kakashi gaiden or before tobi revelation.

Kishi give the backstory of obito, he's an orphan thus make rin as his only light. But in my opinion, he's too late to give obito that back story. He give it after tobi identity reveal. Kishi should explain in kakashi gaiden or before tobi revelation.

It did feel like a new put-in because that whole Gaiden sure felt like it was just Obito in the team, not all about Rin.

The gaiden is create to explain kakashi backstory and how he get his sharingan. It explain the bromance in team minato in the form of kakaobito like narusasu.
While in the war arc, it's the romance aspect (obirin).
Kishi doesn't parallel obirin and NS because it will make NS even more powerful.

But I have no doubt that visiting the One Piece Attraction Park in Japan is one of AHK's and luffyq1's lifetime goals.

Just real quick. It was ch590 where Danzo threatens Sasuke and offers Itachi the choice to fight for Konoha  and spare him or die with his clan. It's Obito that he said he would help him so long as he doesn't touch Sasuke or the village.

How the hell is he a orphan? He is an uchiha, he is bound to have some relatives from his clan since the clan wasn't extinct at the time

 

Now, it would make sense if Kishi elaborated that the uchiha didn't gave a damn about Obito because he was weak, but he didn't do this
