Please don't say: It is boring. This is a subjective statement which will offend many people, including me. That's what you think, but many don't think that it is just cliche, boring and overrated.That is one of the great things about AoT: It is introducing people into the manga industry who have never even cared about Mangas or Animes before. These numbers do tell something b/c it has gained momentum in such a quick time, not many mangas accomplish this. I could go on and on about what I personally think is great, but I guess you consider those points just insignificant and unoriginal.

Well Naruto has been serialized since 1999. It's fandom is pretty loyal to the series (this might change thx to the ending and kitten movie), but keep in mind that at least in Japan the numbers have dropped lately. I believe that if the manga had continued on, it would experience the same fate as Bleach- at least in Japan.

I've heard about HunterxHunter, and I'm pretty sure it is a great series. The thing about HunterxHunter is that the author is constantly putting the manga on hiatus (do you know why?), and people forget about it.The anime just ended b/c of the manga break the author took. I know that it is a critically acclaimed series. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Anyways, there's not point in further discussing this b/c AoT does not belong in this thread.

No, no, no. This doesn't have anything to do with introducing, it just means it has a "general appealing", and that its the zombie thing I talked about. There are certainly animes/manga that catch the public attention and every one of them has certain things that are shared by them. It's not an introduction, it's just strategy. But whatever, the story is well writen, at least, I'm not denying that. It's not kitten like SAO in that manner. It doesn't have plot holes like Naruto does, etc. But it doesn't have color, it doesn't have juice. It's just repetitive and their characters are also boring. At least the woman are well treated (and by that I mean in the way as men are), but that doesn't change the fact they are still boring. 

So, in summary: It's boring, cliche and overrated but it's appealing to a majority by taking themes that people are used to see and proved to "like" and it's well writen anyway.

Hunter x Hunter is a masterpiece that much is true but....

Sorry. Naruto may have had a lot of plot mistakes, but the theme is refreshing and its characters are juicy and colorful. Bad writen at the end, but I'm talking all before 699 and 700.

And? Those numbers says nothing at all. Naruto is WAY more popular and it's kitten. Hunter x Hunter deserves that kind of atention, it's a master piece. The attention and everything doesn't really say too much about the story itself. 
It's just cliché. This is the kind of anime/manga that gets the attention to the ones who normally don't read/watch manga/anime. 
Shingeki no Kyojin is boring, cliche and overrated.

You know..I watched the entire anime of Shingeki no Kyojin in one day after seeing the first episode. It's intense and has a chilling atmosphere and soundtrack.
However I respect your opinion about not liking it. I guess there are many great anime out there that aren't as popular due to lack of exposure.

Ria gave me her response just before she went to bed,  "If that picture is true and that many seats are open then.... wow... I'd be kinda speechless. All I can say that it's a good sign hopefully it's true.  I'm sorry, but SP's handling of NH is insulting. Still can't believe my fan base is hyped up for this. also o -o just because the screen numbers on some ar at 7 and 4 and stuff does not mean they have the numbers before that of screens filled up with naruto the last movie fans or the movie…its not like america o. o. just adding in though OAO

Yes..one also includes the seating for the premier ^ ^ well where each person would have or did sit at.

Then please report them. When all mods see are posts telling a person to "please leave" or "what the kitten are you doing here" that's gonna be a problem. 

 

There's never going to be a time when that's ok. No matter how awful the original poster acts. If they are truly bad, then report it. Don't get in trouble with a mod because you are acting just as bad as they are. Let the mods deal with the problem instead of you getting a warn and/or ban as well.

 

I think Lilac's posts are borderline-trolling, not offensive enough to be considered 'actual' trolling, but frequent enough to annoy a lot of people. They're also written under a false pretext that she is not here to bash the pairing or the fans, so it makes it difficult to report. While I've never told her to get lost, I think a lot of people here have resorted to that as a last option from having other people dedicate pages and pages in response to her posts.

 

Good to know people can report these posts though.

 

You know,  its been a while since I was here. but damn the crap that happened. Also could someone explain to me how Hinata is suppose to be a decedent to Hamura, y'know Hagoromo's brother? Like pls I need logic for this major ass pull.

 

The biggest problem here is that Sasuke was only able to get Hamura's powers because he is the reincarnation of Indra... which Hinata isn't. Oh well.

The kind of thing where you follow up with, “Geez, get yourself together, man”, reminding Naruto get back on the task at hand of rescuing Hinata from Toneri (hence the encouraging part of it).

• [T/N] This is Sakura consoling Naruto about what Shikamaru just said and about how Hinata is with Toneri. In context, kind of like “Didn’t mean for it to come out like that?”, or “That’s not the way it went (/meant to have happened)?”, or like "Don't think of it in that way".

Ok, I know many people in here doubt the woman with the poster, but I don't care. If you don't believe her, ignore this post. If you are interested, read this (This is her opinion, so I can't confirm whether or not it's true):

 

 

Some of her information great, but some of her conclusions aren't. Like the fact that there is going to be a poster with Naruto and Sakura under a tree giving her hope that the two might end up together, despite the manga showing us Hinata's daughter has whiskers.

Oh yeah, that was just her shipper heart I guess. I knew that this poster wouldn't confirm that Naruto and Sakura will be cannon, but I was just so overjoyed to hear a poster of the two of them coming out.- And I can't wait to see it ^_^

Yeah, you and I both know it's her shipper heart, but people here on this forum who don't follow her and Tumblr don't really know that. That's why I'm cautioning against anyone posting some of her conclusions here -- like the story about a legion of mangaka who hope to become famous by pulling a ridiculous ending like Kishi.

we already knew that kishimot wasn't the screenplayer of the movie (just like RTN) but the storyboard (the one who creates the plot) and then a screenplay just adding the dialogues. 

The one who created the bs of the red scarf is still Kishimoto. Kishimoto chose Hinata to be the naruto's lifesoul in this movie. SP is just riding the wave of the moment.
