All we know is that , possibly , Sasuke may fight to protect the village, but we can not say for certain that he also feels different about Naruto or about wanting to fight him . As for Naruto , if this happens and Sasuke challenges him , I could see him not be interested in fighting anymore ... at which point Sasuke may go even further to provoke him (like threatening someone Naruto loves , like *insert first name that comes to mind

Let's hope that Sakura is still one of those favorite characters.
It seems to me that the war will just serve as another meeting point for Naruto and Sasuke, but it didn't give me the feeling it would be the final one. That's interesting to me.
That's what I have been thinking and he said that the finale will be these two in a emotional climax. Let's just see how he's playing out. It's about timing that's makes us wonder.

What were the average sales for volumes that preceded it?

Actually, it's normal. I just did a small research and most of them exceed 600,000, except for volume 56. Don't get carry away, Tsubaki. You're a strong woman! I know it!
For the record, it's 648,836.

So Volume 64 sold 100,000 more copies than Volume 63 did in the first week. Also, going by the number that NS4Life provided, Volumes 61 and 62 sold more copies during their first week than Volume 64.

Naruto 60 got over 800,000.

There we go.
600,000+ seems like a big number, but we have to remember there are X amount fans in X amount of countries that purchase the volumes when they're first released. Average sales are average.

It's big number, no doubt, but it's more like "nothing to see here" UNLESS you break the record. In fact, volume 62 and under except 56 surpassed 64 week 1. I'm happy Naruto's parents' flashback sold over 800,000 week 1. Rightfully deserved.

But it still not completed a week that the volume was released ... only 4 days, but I guess it's still a regular selling.

Usually the sales of copies decreases in the last days of the first week. 600k copies sold in the first four days are many, but still within the normal range.
whaa... a NS fan who have becomed a NH fan after he seen the cover of volume 64? Or it's just me that I misunderstood you? :/

A few things to point out here once again:
Her ability to fight beyond her normal capacity was actually the result of her emotional motivation, which in this case comes from the prospect of gaining information about Sasuke:
Chakra Enhanced Strength, once again, works through the concentrating of one’s chakra into a small area along one's body, then releasing all of that chakra simultaneously at the point of impact, hence why her strikes may be considered feats of superhuman strength. Her true physical strength, however, is average, even amongst kunoichi.
If we are to consider her ability to push a boulder off of Chiyo (and apparently fling it at Sasori, as you have asserted) as proof of her physical strength [Strength Stat: 3.0], then we would also have to consider people like Temari [3.5] as having superhuman strength.
Her “incredible” ability to evade during the Sasori fight was acquired only after reading Sasori’s attack patterns during the time that she WAS being controlled by Chiyo. Without the proper time needed to analyze an opponent, her evasion abilities are less than exemplary, as shown once again here:
However, I am not here to downplay Sakura’s feats during the Kazekage Rescue arc. Her fight with Sasori ranks second only to Naruto’s fight against Pain out of all Part 2 fights, in my opinion. It was actually from there that I began to like Sakura and developed high expectations for her as the series’ heroine. Unfortunately, her development past that point, especially in the area of physical abilities, fell short of almost all expectations.
Bolded: Exactly. She was stated at the beginning of Part 2 to have the potential to surpass Tsunade. And yet here we are, 400 chapters later, with Sakura not having further improved any of her abilities save for a random upgrade in poison making (her only successful victim being Naruto) and the acquired use of smokebombs (her only successful victims being her own teammates) . What about her inherent skill in genjutsu, or her foreshadowed ability to summon slugs, or her attainment of the Yin Seal and any other one of Tsunade’s medical abilities? Kishimoto had hundreds of opportunities to develop her in any of these areas in the past 7 years, but he chose to completely neglect her. Now, it is far too late to develop any of these areas without making it feel like an asspull, and even then it would not make up for all the time he has essentially had her sidelined.
I don’t even need to disagree with regards to Sakura getting over her love for Sasuke; I wish for it to happen just as much as any of you do. Her feelings are almost completely unjustified, and it has been a continuous dark stain on her character ever since Part I.
As to your opinion of her being emotionally strong for the sake of Naruto, I’d have to respectfully disagree. In fact, I believe that she has regressed in that regard.
Again, how does one go from this:
To this:
Disregarding the fact that she didn't exactly do much during the Sasuke & Sai arc, I held some semblance of respect for her when she tried to stay strong and encourage Naruto at the end. By the Kage Summit, however, she's the one breaking into tears, and Naruto, who's arguably experiencing a lot more stress at that moment, has to be the one to comfort her. What the hell happened? That's not even considering her misleading words of reassurance that "we'll get stronger together"....
In terms of her being emotionally strong because of her resolve to kill Sasuke, are we going to forget that this ended up happening?
F*king ridiculous.
And let's not forget that her resolve to help Naruto get Sasuke back, which she stated herself at the end of Part I and reinforced at the beginning of Part II:
...was completely destroyed with this one panel:
In short, Sakura is a character who was given great initial potential as the main heroine, but had her development left severely neglected, and in the end has regressed back to a role on the sidelines.
Alright Crimson here we go.
Whether it was emotional or not, the bottom line is that she can fight far past her body's limits and take a good amount of damage as well. Because she can take that much damage, I fail to see how one kick can really make her a weak or regressed character. Especially after she later took down a Zetsu who I have already pointed out can survive a direct hit from Neji, a top level jonin. If we based every character’s strength on one kick then there would be a lot of “Regressed Characters” in this series.
As for Chakra enhanced strength, if it is such a weak and easy technique, why is it only used by two characters, one of them being a Sannin and a Hokage, in the whole series? Because achieving this is not easy and requires talent http://www.onemanga....to_manga/236/3/
However, the main point is that she has enough of a mastery over this to crush boulders which are way bigger than being twice her size. For example, right before the fight with Sasori Kakashi specifically had Sakura destroy this boulder because of this. http://www.onemanga....o_manga/263/12/
And to answer your question as to why She is stronger emotionally when it comes to Naruto http://www.onemanga....o_manga/573/14/
Though she broke protocol and let two Zetsu in to heal what she thought was a dying Husband, as soon as Naruto comes along, she immediately shores up her emotions and promises to be by his side.
Now, I agree she has not surpassed Tsunade yet, however, do not forget the four edicts. The reason why Tsunade placed these was to prevent any Medical ninja no matter who they are, from entering a direct battle. Unless they are Tsunade which is why she herself set the fourth edict. That a Med-ninja must master the strength of a hundred technique or creation rebirth in order to enter combat. However, the fact remains that Chiyo and Kakashi have acknowledged her potential to surpass Tsunade. Consider Naruto and Jiraiya. Naruto surpassed Jiraiya, but not until Jiraiya had DIED. After he had died, Naruto inherited his will and Sage Jutsu and surpassed him. Sakura has the potential to surpass Tsunade, however, until she inherits
Tsunade’s techniques and her will, she can’t because of the Four edicts.
Moving on though, the resolve to kill Sasuke part, even though I have mentioned this in my previous debates with you, I should have been more specific in my reasoning. When I said she had acquired the resolve to kill Sasuke, what I meant was this: She couldn’t do it in the end, but she still got to the point where her Kunai was at his back. http://www.onemanga....o_manga/484/15/
You and I are in Agreement, Sasuke is Sakura’s biggest weakness. She has never had any sway over him, and has never seen any of his faults. However, I believe that the Land of Iron arc shows her strength more than her weakness. Though she has these feelings for Sasuke, she gets to the point where she almost stabs him in the back, and also while she heals Karin she is crying, Upon the realization that Sasuke is not the same person she thought he was. [Finally]. And don’t forget that her putting the Kunai to his back was after that crying scene. My main point is this: Progress. Sakura is slowly getting over her feelings for Sasuke. The other thing to remember about this is that if Sakura actually manages to kill Sasuke in that confrontation, Kishi loses the whole Naruto Sasuke death battle that has been hinted since the beginning.
Now as I have stated, she never had any power over Sasuke. However, nowhere does she specifically state, I will change Sasuke. In my opinion, she will more than likely support Naruto in this endeavor. As evidenced by her promise to be by his
side at the end.
But the Last thing to remember here is that we are in the war arc. This is more than likely the last hurrah. Side characters are getting final climax moments left and right. For example, Ino Shika Cho fight Asuma, Neji’s Death, Hinata holding hands with Naruto like she promised, Gaara and his father, hell even Zabuza and Haku. Kishi is the type of writer who likes to give his side characters a lot of spotlight. However, this comes at the cost of spotlight for the main characters and ridiculous amounts of chapters where the main characters get sidelined. Naruto has been sidelined many times as well. Examples are, Jiraiya vs. Pain, Asuma and Shikamaru vs. Hidan. My main point is that even when the focus is on other characters, the main characters always show up in the background. For example, in 615 Sakura gets a whole panel showing her facial expression. Why do this when she had no strong feelings towards Neji.
Here is my final analysis: Physical: Sakura’s main focus is not battle, however her skills are too consistent to be considered weak by just one Kick.
Mental: In terms of Sasuke, Sakura has shown weakness, however there is evidence pointing to her being in the process of overcoming these feelings.
Emotionally: she has been up and down but has recently shown to be able to control her emotions as evidenced by her admitting her worry for Naruto yet staying out of his way during the Pain battle. And her promise to be by his side while heading to the battlefield.
Sakura is a physically strong character who is in the process of getting over her emotions over a guy who she fell in love with for no apparent reason. What makes her character is not that she is weak, but that she is the most realistic. What she started out with was a crush on the top student who she thought was good-looking. Though he treated her awful, this crush was sustained by small moments IE his compliments to her on her genjutsu awareness and thanking her for all that she had done. However, her feelings blinded her to the truth of what kind of person he really was. It was not until she confronted him in a situation where he could not ignore her, in the land of iron, that she finally realized he was not the man she thought he was. Because of this, she is in the process of getting over him, becoming stronger emotionally as well.
Bottom line is that because she is the Heroine, which Kishi has stated over and over, She is a complex character and will likely have future development. Tsunade has been cut in half for a couple chapters, Sakura is the only person who has the skills to master Tsunade’s techniques. As Shizune cannot pull off the chakra strength technique in her fight with Kabuto.
Well there you go have at it Crimson.
