I was shocked when I heard that price. Three hundred dollars has been the price of a fresh-out-of-development full console for over a decade now. Now you want to sell me a handheld at that price?
Sorry, but no, 3D or not.
Which makes my decision to wait and see how it all pans out much easier.
Not to mention we're probably not going to miss much at first. If release plans are like how the Game Boy Color worked out, 3DS games will probably work on both systems - minus the 3D on DS Classic, of course - for at least a couple years of games before they start making a switch to 3DS only. It's a smart tactic, considering it gives time for the userbase for the new system to grow before you start switching to it full time.
