Yeah, I forgot to ad the shadow clone part. 

Imao, now I get the full picture: Naruto sent in a shadow clone to Himawari's birthday b/c he's too busy. Turns out that Naruto is too exhausted, so just when the shadow clone of him was holding the birthday cake, it disappeared. That's why the cake landed on the ground.

The spoilers doesn't mention any interactions between the two.  She heals Hinata though.  The movie ends with Mitsuki revealing that he is Orochimaru`s son/clone.

 

The credits show the older Naruto characters with their children and the old Team 7 with the new one

Weird. The villain is in fact the one Kaguya feared the most. The odd part is well, perhaps someone is lying (not confirmed), that villain is helping her. It could be false but I assume this is a "plot twist".

I wonder what the ratings will be like. Considering how it's mostly the fragmented remnants of the fanbase who are still supportive of the studio and Kishi remaining, I'm going to assume that the film will garner higher acclaim than "The Last" did. It doesn't necessarily translate to the film being a financial success, but popular opinion may help to keep it hovering above 3.0.

Odd. Boruto won the exam but Naruto said nope, so the winner ended up being Shikadai, because like father like son. But why did Naruto stop him, no clue for now. Seems hypocritical in areas from what people saying.

 

Edit: I believe it's because he uses lightning. Even more odd.

Money. Also probably originally to test the waters for a Bolt spin off manga beyond just a SD or a gaiden as well as the possibility of an anime. So SP and SJ could milk this series for all it worth. The problem is most of the fans think Naruto is crap now a days and don't want to spend another cent on it.

So here the plot from what you're telling us first 1/3 Sasuke focused with SS moments, second 1/3 Bolt focused Naruto is busy bolt hates his father goes to Sasuke for training montage BS shipping chunin exam, and final 1/3 kaguya rip offs attack shonen battles happen then unsatisfying irresolution?
