well... fun but not so fun. 11 years wasted for reading a manga where the author just jocked with pairings for money and then does just the last asspull. I should have leaved this manga after pein saga but NS hug saved it.

- About Sakura? it’s pretty bad. they use sakura to say that naruto just thought he liked sakura because he didn’t want to lose to sasuke

"Sakura is helping get naruhina together. You might have to watch it once but it will be painful."

- About Sasuke?  “Sasuke only shows up for 90 seconds the entire movie and there were more cheesy naruhina scenes than fights.”

"sasuke is still traveling outside the village and he only appears to stop a falling meteor and rescue hiashi and that’s it."
- About Toneri? he got beaten by naruhina love power lol

Most people who ship NH also ship SS. I've seen more Sakura hate from the NS side of things after she ended up with Sasuke, tbh lol
 
And Sakura only ever loved on person, too. It's not like Hinata is the only character to end up like that. : p
As for liking Hinata, welllll, I'm not going to look at this with shipper goggles on, because that just leads to "omg she has done nothing, evil harlot must dieeee" and completely ignoring the things she did do.
 
Hinata is a lot like Naruto, only on the opposite spectrum. He had no family, and so no one acknowledged him because of what happened with Kurama/his behavior. Hinata had family, but they didn't acknowledge her because of her weakness/behavior. She's the underdog as far as he female cast goes. Naruto inspires her to not give up, and to keep going, despite her flaws. (Sasuke was the reason Sakura wanted to get stronger, and I honestly think Hinata's reasons are much better than Sakura's lol) Hinata was the first person Naruto was open about his true self with, and she's also the first person to acknowledge him/accept him. (I mean, sheesh, sakura needed Sasuke-the-jerk-Uchiha to tell her to knock it the fluff off.)
 
It was Hinata alone that entered the fight against Pain to protect Naruto, and if she hadn't, he'd be dead right now. It was her almost death that spurned him to not give up/broke the seal. It was also Hinata that stopped Naruto from giving into Obito after Neji's death (And it was his choice, he chose to jump in front of Hinata and Naruto. It's not like she threw him in front of them and cackled like some people have made it out to be lol)
 
I realize now that Sakura's journey was not to fall in love with Naruto. It was to accept and acknowledge him. She was never going to stop loving Sasuke, Kishimoto has made that clear. And I don't mind that anymore. They have a beautiful friendship in canon, and if Hinata is the one to make Naruto the happiest, then I will support that. I still won't ship it, but I can see why it's there.

What I read in this was Sakura failed so Hinata.

Also pleny of typical NH debate revisionist history and inflation of Hinata importance in the manga. She was the first to acknowledge Naruto, Ill tell Iruka the bad news, and if you mean first girl as far as Naruto knows it was Sakura because Hinata was to shy to do anything about it. She might as well have been chouji for Naruto for pretty much most of part 1 into the pain arc.

I honestly don' like argueing since I'm not the best defender. I do get stuck on some arguments NaruHina and SasuSaku fans throw at me simply b/c I don' know how to find the words how to counter them even though they are so obviously ridiculous.

Example: One SasuSaku user said once- like always- how SasuSaku is not abusive(?) and how we would be disrespectful to those were abusive. - That argument is so downright stupid, but nevertheless they consider it a logical argument   And sometimes, I just don't feel like I have the energy to defend this BS. Maybe it's my English, I don't know (not native here)

Oh, yeah, I'm planning to watch the special this week- mainly b/c of my interest in the sister's dynamics. They should have done something like this sooner, honestly. It's a shame that Hanabi is literally used for the sake of NaruHina.

One the movie is out, I will try to move on. Right now I can't for some inexplicable reason.

But I might read Part 3 to answer some of my lingering questions.

 

Exactly, and even though it'll be interesting. This movie won't focus on the sister dynamic, and this special is gonna make it seem like that. Again it's misguiding the real reason what this movie is focus towards (NH), and it's not what we're getting. It's like what my cousin said, I would've loved this to be The Frozen for anime. I can only hope, and it's a real shame that it's not going that way. 

 

The only real reason why I might read Part 3 is for Bolt and Sarada. Not really in the sense of shipping them, but just seeing them interact considering that both of their fathers are neglecting their kids. I get the feeling that's how their bond will forge and that's how they'll get closer as friends. When it comes to romantic interests towards one another I'm gonna take a back seat as a neutral fan and see where the story goes. Ria told me this "What if Bolt and Sarada are NaruSaku shippers in Part 3." and I was like if it goes in that direction then I'll be damned, but let's just wait. Odds are I'll probably read the first couple chapters and make my judgment based on that. That's just my thought when it comes to the subject of Part 3.

Hyuga's are so is Hinata. Studio Pierrot just wanted to lure as much NH fanboys as they can. And yeah:

The fact that a stagnant character that didn't grow in the slightest in terms of character development single handedly crushed all of the surrounding characters development over the course of a series by getting what she wanted is the height of terrible writing. It's only worse when that character is a side character.

 

Its acutally her fanbase and sp I hate not Hinata who could have been a great character.

 

Neji pretty much died to get NH together. Naruto and Sakura development was conveniently never touched again.

You know this whole time I thought we'd get some in depth story with Toneiri and with the Otsutsuki clan explaining about Kaguya and this being the last final battle Naruto has before Part 3. Boy was I apparently wrong all this garbage turned out to be is a NH fanservice movie SP is making to praise their godess Hinata. That's why Naruto gets together with her. It's exactly why Kishi did this to you, right?

So much for 2 years in development. From point where I sit - this movie is made like in 3 month with SP directors high on heavy things and Kishimoto forced by the gun pointed on his family. Srsly I'm better belive in any theory about this movie, than to think someone could actually burn his 15 years of work in most horrifying

Not exactly incest but technically 2nd or 3rd cousins (which isn't an illegal marriage in Japan.). but still the whole paring is just boring...like honestly I'm not even mad, I'm just laughing at all this BS.
