I guess you right, for all we know the anime team could just be expressing their feelings towards NS the same way they express their feelings towards Hinata character, I guess we will only find that out in the end. smile.gif

Anyway for Anime only viewers I think that after watching RTN it might feel awkward if NS does not become canon, not because I believe Kishi is trolling the other pairing since I never being one to think that way, I see it mostly as Kishi giving the other feelings some resolution to then focus on the maim pairing, I know I could be wrong but I am positive that Kishi is not trolling NH, NS and SS is more about making them canon or giving them a proper resolution/closure.

I agree. I think the setup and ending is already planned and nothing will change. It's only the journey to get there that makes us go through and we can only hope that everything is setup well. It's like you go to a movie theater, knowing how the movie would end, but it's the path to it that will make the movie either good or bad. In short, we just have to wait and see how it goes down to the end. No doubt, I am still confident on my pairing. My only concern is the journey to the overall ending plot, such as Sasuke being good officially without Naruto vs. Sasuke. But I guess that's why we wait and see.

Because, as I have been trying to say, not all Japanese fans "know" NS will become canon, and in fact many believe otherwise.
Moreover, the fact that 80% of shonen series in which the hero ends up with the Tsundere does not account for the fact that there still are a great number of shonen series in which he does not, and in fact does the opposite.

Thank you. We should look at the story itself, and not typical shonen tropes, to determine the likelihood of our pairing.

Agree!

Seriously they really are blind if they think sakura isn't the most popular female character in naruto and has a huge fanbase in japan, kishimoto-sensie's main fanbase. That alone is an insult to kishimoto-sensie's work. Not to mention they rub off the japanese culture, which is important to know if you wanna 100% understand the details of the manga.

Yeah sure dont mind at all, What im talking about is that in one of the weekly shounen jumps for naruto, there was a calender and it had the date when naruto fell in love with sakura, if you want check out ny previous post with the links, and that the cover from 616 with narutio and sakura as samurai in front of a scroll sasuke, the japanese writing was really, "Make your move hero, great man and heroine, great woman!"

Did a little research cuz thr heros and heroines translation was far too fishy my taste.

So that's what really said up there? Well I should have known since Sasuke in that cover is demonstrated to be a one-man army that needs to be stopped for his reign, so Naruto and Sakura will come and stop him. I remember someone in tumlbr described that Sakura is dressed in a support characteristics, so that will mean she is the support for Naruto, who he's full fledged samurai. Thank you for this. smile.gif

@Tsubaki: Funny, Sakura and Naruto are looking at each other in this one with a smile.

Do you have the japanese raw for the Samurai cover? Or at least the japanese symbols that are presented in the cover. Maybe one of our japanese readers could confirm about the whole hero and heroine deal.

It's not that I'm doubting you, but it's never bad to double check.

We don't need to base it off the internet, we know that from the polls themselves. What phenix was trying to insinuate was that all of those fans "knew" NS was still going to become canon. to which I had to go and point out posts by Japanese fans who think otherwise.

It really doesn't matter IMO if they know or they don't know because in reality, they don't. We don't, but given what's been shown, a lot of us feel that it's the most logical/likely to happen. You can't group a ton of people into a category claiming that they all feel the same way when they don't. I'm positive not all of Japan feels NS will happen. That's the reality of it. I'm not even sure most of them feel this way, but then again, I don't really care because it's not a popularity contest. LOL I'm not pointing at you Baguette btw. I just linked your comment because I'm continuing from what you've written here.

The s**t NaruHina shippers make up to make it sound like a blessing... I can't at this quote from the same guy again that thinks Sakura's character revolves solely around Sasuke... I can't get a damn thing in without him twisting everything

This was his replay to my statement about Ino [You can't really say that Platinum...Ino barely appears enough for us to even get a good read on her : P]

QUOTE
Um, yeah I can. She hardly appears, I agree with that, but when she does appear it's pretty clear what she's doing and why she's doing it. I don't think you know what I'm trying to say about Ino and maybe I'm not wording it right. What I'm saying about the character is she's not just a Sasuke groupie anymore. I never said she was over him, because clearly she's not, but it's not the only reason she exist anymore like in part 1, that was all she was there for. A majority of Ino's panel time has nothing to do with Sasuke, in part 2. Yeah, Kishi will throw a little hint in that she still likes him from time to time, but it's not her sole reason for existing anymore. The Asuma fight and the fight with the Gold and Silver brothers, I forgot Ino was a Sasuke groupie. I'm not saying Ino's a wonderfully written character, but whenever she's not written as a Sasuke drooler, I find her far more likeable and enjoyable from the few scenes she gets and I would hate to see her going back to part 1 Ino again. That's all I'm saying.

To my surprise, a great deal of recent results involved people discussing how SS would be developed now that "NH happened".

I've seen the raw cover of that chapter... But you know, sidetext aren't written by author but by editor. That's the reason that they're removed in tankobon verison.... These sidetext are non influential to the story.

この戦乱の世を舞う華たち―――決せよ、雌雄!!
literally is:
"There's dancing blossoms in this age of confusion.... Fight to the finish, males and females!"

The kanji of heroes is "雌雄" (Shuyuu) which means "male and female". But in this case, it can assume another meanings. Weblio.jp says to me:

雌雄(しゆう)

1. 動物。 (male animal and female animal)
2. 優劣勝敗 (merits and victory or defeat/issue(of battle)/outcome)

So I can see why they translated "hero and heroine in these conditions", so it's fine. So the right translation is this: "There's dancing blossoms in this age of confusion... Fight to the finish, Hero(s) and Heroine(s)"
