My point being that there exists many Japanese fans who believe such pairings as SS or NH will become canon, and we shouldn't generalize based on what is "typical" in the shonen genre.

let's be sincere here... At the end it depends from author's tastes, not from internet popularity... at least we hope so. If Kishimoto feel to like NH and SS, fine. It's his business. But you know, official popularity poles made by WSJ aren't made through internet....

To contradict some post here, I kind of have the feelings that the Anime team haves a slit feelings of who the final pairing would be I tend to believe that way because NS is the pairing that most of the times when something is animated in this manga that feature something similar to a cannon relationship in Naruto Shippuden it always involve Naruto and Sakura being the main focus, I wouldn't say all but almost 90% of the times and the biggest example would be that The date scene, movie 3 and 2011 OVA
But in regards to the fans in Japan I honestly believe it's nonsense because if they knew the finale pairing like some are claiming then NS would be by far the most supported pairing for this Manga.

So to resume, Anime Team might know of might have and idea???? But the fans don't know.

Well that's we look at the manga itself, not the genre, base off only what we see in the manga not any genres, fanbase sizes, etc. Looking at the manga itself there is still a lot for NaruSaku to happen, but the road for NH is still open as well (just would not be as good), and well SasuSaku could just be the biggest of all story butchering moments if it happened. If you ask me, Sasuke should not have any love in his character, he was always more of a lone wolf.

Thank you. We should look at the story itself, and not typical shonen tropes, to determine the likelihood of our pairing.

It's a mystery, that's all I can say. Whether they do know or not, just keep it a mystery and when the manga is over, maybe the chance of them knowing will increase, but perhaps it's best to wait for an interview. Until then, it's. A. Mystery.

Yeah, nobody 100% knows, but according to the 80-90% its very likely, not to forget if we look at how NS progressed. So as said why is it wrong to believe that NS is more likely if we look at the genre?

Well, it's not important. Just because it appears a few times over the internet doesn't mean that it's guaranteed to be the majority. I guess you right, for all we know the anime team could just be expressing their feelings towards NS the same way they express their feelings towards Hinata character, I guess we will only find that out in the end.

Anyway for Anime only viewers I think that after watching RTN it might feel awkward if NS does not become canon, not because I believe Kishi is trolling the other pairing since I never being one to think that way, I see it mostly as Kishi giving the other feelings some resolution to then focus on the maim pairing, I know I could be wrong but I am positive that Kishi is not trolling NH, NS and SS is more about making them canon or giving them a proper resolution/closure.
