Not with those exact words, but yes. He mentioned specifically the Kushina parallel was meant to be deceiving.

Doesn't this just make the whole genjutsu theory more credible? I mean come on, a kiss in under a cherry blossom tree? Seriously?! Then again, with that new interview in mind, I wouldn't really put it past Kishi to do something like that. 

 

But no, I still don't believe that's really it. Something just doesn't add up.

You know it's pretty funny. Internet has evolved huge. If I never read the spoilers, I would think, "So I wonder how do they split? It must be Naruto confesses but got declined. Or maybe Naruto will tear but accept the fate can't go on his side." You know what I mean. But after reading the spoiler....what the flying kitten. What a huge retcon kitten.
