If it weren't for tumblr, I would think NH and SS fans like your cousin are extinct on this planet. Now, I don't have a NF or Naruto wiki account- tumblr and H&E are the only accounts I have-, but from what I've heard the majority of the NH and SS fans have become plain a**holes now that the ending came out. Youtube alone is a place I dread b/c everytime the two anime reviewers forneverworld and sawyer7mage post something related to the last, their subscribers comment just make me want to reach through the screen and slap both of them in the face x 1000 times. You might be asking, why do I even bother watching their videos. Normally, those two give pretty good and insightful reviews. I love sawyer7mages reviews for The Legend of Korra the most tbh. - Oh, I've seem your reviews of TLOK, too :). BUT when it comes to NH and the Last those two just go overboard -.- And they are not the only ones on youtube... Well, I hope you two will draft a hella lot better script than the Lasy Asspull ^^

Haha now there's something I didn't know (for The LOK reviews) I appreciate the kind words  . I already know that maybe opening weekend it'll do something, but I truly hope that afterwards like it gets a word of mouth from the Japanese fanbase. Think of how things went down when The Last Airbender came out. Opening weekend was great, but it quickly got a bad response from the fans, and that's what I think will happen with this final Naruto movie. It's destined for failure, there is an off chance a 1/100 of the fanbase might like it, but that'll be it. Everyone else will see through it and say "What a bunch of BS."

By the way I understand the whole sawyer and forneverworld situation, outside of The Last related news they're not that bad. I'm going to admit when it comes to Attack on Titan I feel like forneverworld does a decent job with his reviews, and I agree sawyer is pretty hilarious with his Legend of Korra reviews. I can give them that much credit.

Speaking about our script on The Last, she and I are gonna plan out a schedule when it would be best to write scenes later today. Ria wants to start it some time this week despite the fact that finals are coming up, but one day out of a week isn't gonna hurt her. So some time this week we'll work on the first scene and I'll share it here. Odds are this will be a weekly thing (even after finals) to keep a consistent creative flow that way it we'll have time to take care of other things as well like spend time with friends, family, etc outside of the naruto fandom.

Aw... You told so much about people characters that looked for NH relation, I was interested to read about those who looks up to NS  :umm:

Honestly, I'd like to hear more, too  ! What do you think of NaruSaku fans? We are not a perfect fandom after all, and are not better or worse than the other fandoms.

You want a serious answer? Here; NS is appealing for people who support true, selfless love, for people who believe that love grows beyond what it started out as, and that love has to be nurtured rather then trampled or ignored to continue existing. For people who believe in EVOLVING beyond what they started as. Love is not a static state but a dynamic one. It changes and it changes you and we recognize this.

Sakura evolved because Naruto LOVED her and he NURTURED that love. Naruto was able to evolve because he had that love to give him strength, and when Sakura grows beyond the selfish girl because of those efforts, he's repaid when she begins to foster that love as well. The two of them become an arch that supports and holds the other in place.

When I think of NS and the people that support it, I am reminded of this poem by John Ciardi;

"Most like an arch—an entrance which upholds
and shores the stone-crush up the air like lace.
Mass made idea, and idea held in place.
A lock in time. Inside half-heaven unfolds.

Most like an arch—two weaknesses that lean
into a strength. Two fallings become firm.
Two joined abeyances become a term
naming the fact that teaches fact to mean.

Not quite that? Not much less. World as it is,
what’s strong and separate falters. All I do
at piling stone on stone apart from you
is roofless around nothing. Till we kiss

I am no more than upright and unset.
It is by falling in and in we make
the all-bearing point, for one another’s sake,
in faultless failing, raised by our own weight."

Do not bash Lilac about her post. If you want to argue points within it, then go right ahead.

But telling a person 'what are you doing here' 'please leave' etc. etc. etc. is extremely disrespectful.

While you may not agree with how she's coming to terms with the manga, it was not directed at any one person. Only an explanation of her feelings. She said in the end she didn't ship it, just understood. So what? That's perfectly reasonable way to try to make sense of this mess in the best way how. I suspect there are many more people like that who have already walked away from the whole series.

This is still a tolerant site. No matter what. People are free to ship NS, and free to change their opinions. Argue the posts, do not bash the poster. The mods are getting tired of the extreme negativity that keeps flaring up and is directed at random individuals.

Heaven & Earth is not Lord of the Flies. A changing opinion isn't going to do anymore damage to NS thatn Kishimoto already has. Get it together.

Yeah, you're one of the only NaruSaku reviewer on youtube I know, no kidding. Other youtubers I have subscribed, too, are JamesCassidy and NaruSakuforLife (though he hasn't said anything in a while). The only other NaruSaku reviewers I've found speak Spanish, and so far I only learned Spanish for three months, so... (But it's too late anyways, the series has ended). It must be hard to keep up with weekly reviews, right? Sawyer himself is a grad student...

And yup, I am a huge fan of The Legend of Korra. Am up to date and am sooo pumped for the Finale on the 19th! I do ship MaKorra (look to the left, lol), but I'm fine with it if they didn't end up together- I think. Korra to me has always been an amazing woman who can survive without a man by her side. The kind of animated female characters I like are badass, headstrong, confident, elegant- which is why Korra, Saber, Sakura are high on my list of top female characters.

Lol, the Last Airbender movie was hoooorible. I still remember the scene where twenty earthbenders were bending the crap out of the ground to attack the enimies with a mini stone :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I don't know how the Last will do. While I do believe that it will be successful b/c of the fans' loyalty or curiosity, I hope that the professional critics will pan this movie into the ground.

Oh I see, so christmas break will be devoted to animes and Naruto :) The only thing I'd like to say: Pls be sure to give us a Hinata who becomes the clan leader and big sister we wish to see T_T

I might right my own the Last version, too over the break, b/c there's not a lot to do after you get your wisdom teeth out...

Apparently, that whole scarf subplot is very much based on Kishi and his wife. From what he implied, she made one once when they were still dating. SP actually outright pointed out that subplot suggestion is cheesy. So, if you want to blame the cheesyness, blame him.

I would have no problem with her "statement" if she didn't accuse the whole NS fandom of wearing only "shipping goggles" and that is why  we don't like or understand this ending  its also disrespectful to us  and its happening allot  and we are sick of hearing that despite saying its more then just shipping its getting repetitive I'm sure you can understand  this . @Lilac constantly comes here only to say that we have shipping goggles and accuse us of shit   if she has come to terms with this manga its completely fine  but its not when she tries to accuse us and convince us of reading it wrong and wearing shipping goggles  I find that very offensive .

But I'll stop here sorry for the commotion  .

Liliac has an unfortunate history of extremely inflammatory posts.

Then please report them. When all mods see are posts telling a person to "please leave" or "what the f*ck are you doing here" that's gonna be a problem.

There's never going to be a time when that's ok. No matter how awful the original poster acts. If they are truly bad, then report it. Don't get in trouble with a mod because you are acting just as bad as they are. Let the mods deal with the problem instead of you getting a warn and/or ban as well.

I believe this describes me perfectly well and perhaps make me quit on manga if this happens:

Perish the thought that would happen to Fairy Tail.  The author made the couples too obvious for him to pull a "Kishi".

I'm gonna tell you a secret: I have not cried once yet over the ending. I have not cried over the movie spoilers. And I have not cried over the destruction SP and Kishi are committing. I'm a person who doesn't cry when it comes to fiction. I am angry, I am disappointed, and I have tried many things out to linger my pain, but not once have I cried. Maybe my heart is numb, I don't know. But usually I just don't cry about sad endings or couples. I have yet to do that. So thanks for almost bringing me up to tears. I'll safe your post and the poem somewhere <3

Maybe my heart is numb, I don't know. But usually I just don't cry about sad endings or couples. I have yet to do that. So thanks for almost bringing me up to tears. I'll safe your post on the poem somewhere <3

:argh: NOW I WANT TO CRY.

I did an essay on that poem in college a few years ago...and it always reminded me of NS. But I was a lurker back then...

When I think of NS and the people that support it, I am reminded of this poem by John Ciardi;

"Most like an arch—an entrance which upholds
and shores the stone-crush up the air like lace.
Mass made idea, and idea held in place.
A lock in time. Inside half-heaven unfolds.

Most like an arch—two weaknesses that lean
into a strength. Two fallings become firm.
Two joined abeyances become a term
naming the fact that teaches fact to mean.

Not quite that? Not much less. World as it is,
what’s strong and separate falters. All I do
at piling stone on stone apart from you
is roofless around nothing. Till we kiss

I am no more than upright and unset.
It is by falling in and in we make
the all-bearing point, for one another’s sake,
in faultless failing, raised by our own weight."

Trying to get all poetic now  :argh:

I'm not into poems, but that poem is spot on. Both have their weaknesses, but they support and lean on each other in heavy times and become stronger together for not only Sasuke's but each other's sake.

“The country? The skies? You can have them! I'm busy enough protecting what's in front of me. I don't know how many times I failed to protect what I wanted. I have nothing left, so at least if something has fallen at my feet, I'll pick it up."
