I wanna know what moment between Naruto and Sakura sold it for you guys. I know a lot of people feel like the PoAL was what did it. For me it was the damn bench scene.

I thought it was the RonXHermione pair that didn't make sense, and JK actually said she shouldn't have put them together.

 

That's where she messed up, Ron and Hermione were really cute in the first couple of books, then Hermione grew up, and Ron didn't. there were times in the books I hoped Ron would die and Hermione would fall for one of the twins, or Harry to tell him to bugger off and take Neville on his travels...he was a lousy potential boyfriend and an even worst friend. Ron needed to grow up by book six, but he was still the jealous twit he was in book four, if not worst. While Harry and Ginny still worked, Ron and Hermione were looking less and less plausable.

 

Back to this end...I would like to say I hope the movie and Part 3 will fail, but one thing I learnt from the Games industry, people will complain over and over about something but still end up buying it because they'll be convinced that the final product will be better than before...and they fall for the same trap every year, just look at CoD and Fifa.

You know, I was against the idea yesterday because of the huge disappointment this series was, but after reading those 2 chapters, it really makes me want to redraw my own version. I would name it: “Naruto’s end if Kishimoto didn’t kitten it up”

I thought I'd weigh in with my thoughts. 699 wasn't bad except for you know, Sakura going backwards. Left a lot unresolved and really needed to be longer than 1 chapter but oh well. If it didn't have Sakura going fan girl again and Sasuke suddenly liking her I would've been happy enough.

700 on the other hand was a complete piss take. I mean, I wouldn't minded it near as much if Kishi had shown some hint of romance between the couples in the previous chapter but that never happened. It feels like a complete cash grab for that new mini series. Overall, not happy with 700 and if Sakura and Sasuke didn't act out of character completely I would've accepted 699 as the ending. Lacklustre and leaving A LOT to be desired but and ending never the less. I wouldn't mind seeing someone like LadyGT drawing a better ending

Guys I just thought of something. If Kishi's been working on the movie for the past year or so, he had to know the ending in advance, so why all the NS hints and lack of character conclusions. Something must have changed recently right? What do you think he was thinking all this time?

Well if you want my opinion her it is:
Way back at the end of the Pain arc Kishi said he had the end all figured out, and he just had to get there. However years later he started working on "The Last" with SP, who are MAJOR Hinata fans. I think they talked him into making the movie, Part 3 and the Epilouge like this (obviously for money and merchandizing). Even it even though he agreed to it, he still wanted to write the story his way. So up until 698, he still wrote it the way had intended to from the Pain arc. Then for these last 44 pages he switched to SP's ending and changed it from a happy NS ending to a horrible, depressing NH/SS ending. That's why it seems so random, ridiculous, and OOC, because it is. It's not his intended end for the series, but he did it anyway for the money. There's more than enough proof for that with all the NS moments and Anti SS moments from the war. Literally within the last 5 chapters Kakashi's saying "Sakura's not trying or wanting to be yours!" and Sasuke's saying things like "I have no reason to like her" and "Naruto's my only friend, if I break my bond with him I'll be all alone.".
That's why I refuse to accept this as the actual end. I won't bash the characters or the series (I'll just bash Kishi instead), because I don't consider it canon. There's no way I'll let 2 chapters and a movie ruin a 15 year old, 698 chapter series.
The only things I'm looking forward to now are either Kishi making an alternate NS ending (highly unlikely) or at least coming out and admitting this wasn't how he planned it and explaining himself.
Until then, NS is still the only pairing in the series that makes sense, and NH/SS are still disgusting.

I think it was Sakura's confession after that nothing seemed right he purposely made Naruto and Sakura avoid each other  until 631 but than made the parallel gave them some interaction but it was mostly on Sakura's end and now we get that it wasn't  anything romantic while at the same being emphasized that she's the one believing  and protecting his dream  and at same time make Hinata fall on her face  WHY ? This is what makes no sens .

 

I wasted 8 years on this kitten I can't believe it  what a sick joke  .  Now my new sig speaks for itself  we should all put it Lol.

 

True NH can make some sens but not much really where is the interaction where are the romantic signs  that Naruto had for Sakura were is that awe look he had for Sakura that proud face ? Oh we get it in a freaking movie after not talking to each other for two freaking years after the war but Scarf chan can solve everything  and the worst of it is this god forsaken author thinks this good romance that he always wanted to write  kitten he has no clue what love is let alone how to write a romance story after all LOVE DOESN'T NEED A REASON BUT IT NEEDS FOR PARING LIKE MK DANTSU    Apparently love is having murder attempts , insults , indifference , emotional abuse of the worst kind with Chidori trough the hear  but a lousy sorry fix everything and gave you "feels" disgusting    

Wow 8 years. I feel sorry for you man. I still can't comprehend this crap. It's not the pairings that piss me off, it's the way that the story ended. Every character went 180, no one got development, they got backwards development. Nothing got resolved in this ending.

It raised so many questions and it answered none.

 

anyway, around christmas time kishi will attend at jump festa. LOL
