aikitteneru is a really really strong word, most of the time people will use either suki or daisuki when confessing their feelings.
and aikitteneru doesnt always have to be in romantic context, Its what Kushina used to say ''i love u'' to Naruto.

I have to say Sakura's love is starting to inspire me
I'm gonna go now and Chidori my hot neighbor multiple times and I bet she will fall in love with me and love me forever bc love doesn't make any sense
The message that Kishi sends is just so inspiring I bet every mother will recommend this manga to their daughters in order to grasp the true meaning of love way to go Kishi you are the men

Go for it buddy! And remember - the more you hurt and insult her, the more stronger her love for you becomes. That's true love right there.
I can imagine a scenario where by the time Naruto confesses to Sakura she'll already be broken thanks to Sasuke. She'll have this blank expression that signifies that she's done with romance altogether.
If Naruto was actually man enough to not hinge his feelings on the retrieval of Sasuke, the romance would have been slightly better in this series.
If Sakura was sensible enough to move on from her pathetic love for Sasuke, the romance would be much better in this series.
guys, I will repeat this once more and bolded, so no one of you can disappointed next week when the raw will be out
SAKURA USES THE PRESENT TENSE IN THE RAW (FROM A RELIABLE JAP BLOG WHO GETS EARLIER THE MAGAZINE AND MAKES A BRIEF SUMMARY)
So, now what... are you jumping the ship/stopping to support your OTP?
I know that the mood here is very bad but I rather to say this: I will waint until december. Life is full of delusions and joys. Nowadays we got a big delusion, but the future can reserve us surprises. who knows.
So its present tense. You know what, yesterday I was confused and disappointed but today, I'm just laughing at this mess.
Sakura, Sakura...This is so hilarious. Kishimoto, what have you done? Even Hinata is written better than poor Sakura !
Atleast Hinata has fallen in love with a wonderful guy like Naruto. Hinata's love makes some sort of sense .
Atleast Hinata keeps her feelings to herself most of the times and not constantly plead and beg Naruto to accept her love.
Atleast Hinata has been of great help to the person she loves instead of just crying and annoying him all the time.
Atleast Hinata doesn't lose herself when Naruto is around her anymore. She has changed from the way she used to be in part 1. Its sad that I can't say the same about Sakura.

Aikitteneru is a really heavy word... Hardly anyone in real life uses it. And, Kushina said aikitteneru to Naruto and Itachi said it to Sasuke. So, not just romantic.
Sakura meant romantic love. Period.
Great LOL.
I just don't understand what Kishi is doing then.
// though you can use daisuki to say you adore some cheese also LOL

As for Hinata being better written... No offense but at least Sakura is aware that the love she has for Sasuke is rather pathetic while Hinata has yet to come to a realization that her love for Naruto makes her pathetic as well... If only Hinata had the same self-awareness...
Why does loving a great guy like Naruto make Hinata pathetic?
Her constant Naruto-kunning might be pathetic but falling in love with Naruto makes 100 times more sense than Sakura's love for Sasuke.
This is my opinion.

Besides that Kakashi confirmed that she meant it in a romantic way so did Sasuke so I don't understand why would this mean that she meant a love like in a familial way ? Also didn't with this Kakashi just confirmed 675 from the SS point of view ? He just reinforced her "love" in this chap and prized her
I still can't believe he said "She just wants to be yours" he made her an object DISGUSTING!!!

Sakura is not responsible for Sasuke's bad actions.
She loved him before he went bad.
He was a good friend, team7 had a strong bond.
Sakura just doesn't want to let go, and the same goes for Naruto.
It's not that easy to fall out of love for someone, even if that one is harming you.
But I think it's hard to believe what is happening in this chapter regarding the previous chapter we had when Kakashi talked about Sakura's feelings.
Kishimoto lost me this time.

And no offence, but Hinata is worse too... Just because naruto is wonderful person? It doesn't matter about dark or wonderful person...

But Hinata never got to know him. It's idolization. That's not real love either, just because Naruto's a better guy. Does Hinata even know what Naruto is like, as a guy? No. Sakura's the one who understands him and feels more for him. But that doesn't mean she's gonna stop her devotion toward Sasuke. Though I wish she would.

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

This is the thing. I'm surprised that Kishimoto still has a large female fanbase. I mean, the way he writes female characters is just....
No, you know what Is sad? That people like you only see Sakura good written when she is doing something in your favor pairing wise, but now God forbids, she loves Sasuke, WORST character ever. What does it matter than even though she loves a boy, she still is capable of seeing her love is wrong and support the dream of Naruto, although it contradicts what her love wants. What does it matter that Sakuras development and character involves the desire to help her teammates, that she wants to be equal to them?
APPARENTLY NOTHING?! Even the most boring and unchanging Character is better!
That just makes me sick. How can you even call yourself a Sakura fan?
Calm down. I'm no Sakura basher. Get your facts checked before you accuse someone , Please.
I'm merely stating facts. The way Kishimoto has portrayed her this chapter is just terrible.

Sakura twice as much. Hinata could live her life not being with Naruto and move on, as long as Naruto is happy. Sakura can't move on, because Sasuke is still evil, and she wants him to be good.

Im not sure why anyone would be a Sakura fan right now. She has to redeem herself big time.
Confessing to someone who has tried to kill her, make her feel like kitten constantly in front of the guy whom loves her deeply and has done nothing but good for her. Not to mention she knew he had feelings for her. Thats the epitome of being disgusting.
She doesnt have to love Naruto but atleast she couldve found a better time for that. I really hope for the sake of Naruto that he already has moved on so he wouldnt suffer 2 much from it.

You're right, but it's sad for both girls. Hinata is an obsessive fangirl and Sakura is too stubborn that she won't let go of a love that makes no sense. You and many other users need to go over there and give some tips to Kishi on how to write a decent and consistent female character, because he clearly doesn't know what the hell he's doing.
All the respect I had for Kishi is long gone and giving Sakura the development she needs this late in the series to let go of Sasuke romantically will not change my stance.

... I have no true idea what to think of this chapter pairing-wise. I've never been more confused about the direction of it before and that's saying something with the history of this series. Kakashi said "used to love" in 675 yet in this chapter we have two different translations of present and past tense and one of the translators said it was present ... what am I supposed to believe?
But, if it really was in present tense and Sakura did confess to Sasuke:
Sakura has absolutely no understanding of real love. She's still hung up on that 12-year old image she created without any good reason to love Sasuke (something Sasuke said himself ironically). She's trapped in her low self-esteem and even feels like it's all her fault for how Sasuke is, deprecating herself degradingly. It's so pitiful I feel bad for her. It's like Sakura doesn't think she deserves happy love because of everything she's used to with Sasuke and that's why she keeps his thing for him going. It's literally all the girl knows. That's not anger-inducing ... that's tragic.
But it's still appalling to my eyes to see Sakura beg and cry to Sasuke with a love confession when I truly believed she was more evolved than this. When Sakura had that pissed off expression, I got excited and expected her to finally tell off Sasuke but all I got was more of the same and then some. Worse actually, because it gives vague undertones of P1 Sakura and it's just so hard to watch as her fan.
I thought I'd be angry with Sakura, but the truth is I'm not. I'm angry at Kishimoto for making her character development regress a bit and I feel incredibly sorry for Sakura at the same time. She is better than this and she can be, but Kishimoto is taking way too long to resolve it. Sakura's feelings for Sasuke have always been unrealistic, but this takes the cake.
It's funny because, in a way, this chapter reminds of uncomfortably extreme version of what I originally thought before 675. Sakura does still love Sasuke and for whatever reason refuses to see her true feelings for Naruto. There is no doubt she has them, but the girl is so freakin' confused and trapped in learned helplessness through Sasuke that she can't see what is really love when it's right in front of her.
However, even I never expected Sakura to be like this. I never thought she would make such an emotional display so openly after everything's that happened. Sure, Sakura is guilty, sad, ashamed of her feelings but to plead to him so spinelessly and cling on desperately to the appeal to any shred of the old Sasuke, it's just ... wow. This is the guy who hasn't done a decent thing for her in four years and she would still lower herself in front of everyone like nothing's changed.
I said it before and I truly mean it. I would be okay if Sakura still loved Sasuke and didn't fall for Naruto, but I can't handle her chasing after Sasuke again. At the very least, whether she still feels those things or not, she needs to grow up and realize she deserves better. That she needs to try to move on not because Sasuke's not interested, but because she wants to. And if she truly didn't love Naruto, I would simply be happy she had esteem to make this choice and stay single. She doesn't need to love Naruto. She just needs to like herself.
Sakura did regress definitely, but I still don't think it's not to the extent of Part 1. Sakura's goal is still Team 7 being together again, not being with him romantically and she does see how horrible Sasuke has become. That's still better than how she used to be, though at the same time her development took two steps backwards.
There is only one major thing that makes me mad. And no, it's not that Sakura confessed her love for Sasuke in front of Naruto. She was clearly desperate. It was the fact that Sakura focuses on her feelings for Sasuke. She vents how much pain he causes her, how much she cares but gives no input on how Kakashi and Naruto feel for him and go through. But what makes it really bad is that Sakura already did this. In Part 1 she threw all her cards down and that didn't even stop Sasuke then. Where, in her miserable mind with the way Sasuke is now, did she think that would work? It's redundant and makes it look like Sakura learned nothing.
I'm so disappointed in this chapter. I would've handled Sakura's speech much better if she talked about what they all suffered and went through for Sasuke yet still cared, not just her. It made Sakura look selfish and she's supposed to be more about T7 at this point, not Sasuke. I honestly don't know what the hell Kishi was smoking when he wrote this.
As pairing-wise ... SasuSaku is definitely dead as far as canon, no questions asked on my front. This last emotional outburst and callback to the SS confession combined with all the emphasis on her suffering practically cements that. And NaruSaku will still be canon, though I'm very sad to say it will not be satisfactory or realistic.
Sakura definitely regressed to part 1 levels (maybe even MORESO when you consider the gravity of the situation). Look at her. SHe just heard that this man intends to murder the five kages (including her mentor), murder her best friend in the world (the one person who has ALWAYS stood by her) Naruto and take over the world. So what does she do in response to all of this? Does she threaten to knock Sasuke's lights out? Does she give him a scathing speach about his evil ways? Does she show even the slightest amount of anger? No. She cries like a litttle girls; she balls her eyes out and tells Sasuke that she loves him and wants them to be together. In short, Kishimoto took a massive DUMP on her character. This is NOT how a grown woman should act, ESPECIALLY when she is more or less a PROFESSIONAL assassin/soldier. To add insult to injury, Sasuke's remarks about her are SPOT ON. SHe IS living in a fairy tale; there IS no reason for him to love her; there IS no reason for her to love him.
I used to respect Sakura as a character, but after this, I've grown to despise her. She's weak and everything a heroine should not be. Grow up, woman. You're a shinobi. If you're gonna cry on the battlefield, you don't belong there.
Lastly, whatever happened to her and Naruto bringing Sasuke back together? DId Kishi forget that? Ugh.
