Well, go figure...at least she seems more level-headed than everybody else....my poor poor Sakura...you're too cool for Kishi and company. They've clipped her wings.

And I still find her prettier than the Boob.

 

 

Still, Kishi: retconning the manga ---> you're doing it wrong. HA. Our ship is so strong that to undermine it they had to pull off this whole kitten. And to be honest, I still find Hinata more boring and tedious than any fairytale princess ever, such a unidimensional selfish pseudo-moe character...

I agree every now and then I always come back to this and think wow compared to The Last this is so realistic and shows a lot of growth between Naruto and Sakura. This even shows how much Naruto means to her over the course of the story. A lot of people can relate to initially hating some one and growing to have feelings for them in the end. 

 

 

 

Funny thing is I sent Ria LadyGt's After The War, and her thoughts were the same as mine. she said that Sakura's character arc would've been complete and she wished that Hinata got the same proper treatment, and she knows that's never gonna happen. Though she took it a step further and saying you should get the final volume destroy 699 and 700 and somehow put this in. She even knows how I'm just getting Volume 71 and calling it there for the volumes. 

 

Btw, Ria actually convinced me to take my idea for The Last and turn it into a script and she's gonna act out as co-script writer and a consultant for this. So I'll be working with her on it and  I'll post up the first scene whenever we finish it. Though just out of curiosity can I post a fan script scene on this topic or does it have to be on a different topic?

Well, I can't wait to read your version of the Last. The more spoilers I hear, the more I hope that they inspire other NS fans to write fanfictions or scripts to and alternative the Last movie ^^

I tell you when she's angry you know not to mess with her. Despite what other NaruHina and SasuSaku fans say, she's got the courage to admit when something doesn't make sense. As much as Ria ships NH/SS, she feels bad for what me and many other NaruSaku fans have to go through. Compared to some of my friends who just NH and SS like every other person in the fandom, Ria's probably the only NH/SS fan I know that's easy to talk about this stuff. Plus, like I mentioned before, She's only been apart of the naruto fandom for just a month and that's saying a lot compared to NH and SS fans that have been with the series for years.

If it weren't for tumblr, I would think NH and SS fans like your cousin are extinct on this planet. Now, I don't have a NF or Naruto wiki account- tumblr and H&E are the only accounts I have-, but from what I've heard the majority of the NH and SS fans have become plain a**holes now that the ending came out. Youtube alone is a place I dread b/c everytime the two anime reviewers forneverworld and sawyer7mage post something related to the last, their subscribers comment just make me want to reach through the screen and slap both of them in the face x 1000 times. You might be asking, why do I even bother watching their videos. Normally, those two give pretty good and insightful reviews. I love sawyer7mages reviews for The Legend of Korra the most tbh. - Oh, I've seem your reviews of TLOK, too :). BUT when it comes to NH and the Last those two just go overboard -.- And they are not the only ones on youtube... Well, I hope you two will draft a hella lot better script than the Lasy Asspull ^^

Normalcy/Indifference isn't exactly good for our OTP, but it's not entirely bad either. At least they don't share in the SS/NH's attempts to ridicule and belittle us. That's the silver lining in their conversation, I suppose.

Like all material specifically pertaining to The Last or this ending in general, I'm making a refusal to click any of those links because it only indulges something that shouldn't exist in the first place.

Yea, I just want to know if they mention Naruto's feelings for Sakura. Apparently I heard they say Sasuke poking Sakura's forehead is the ultimate expression of love from him. O__o

And she even recognized his feelings, when he made the POOL and when Saint told her. Idk when she suddenly figured it was because of his rivalry with Sasuke. They had to retcon Sakura's comprehension of Naruto's feelings, along with Naruto's motivations for those feelings.

Just so Hinata doesn't appear to be a silver medal.

Now Naruto just held a slight crush, despite hundreds of panels proving otherwise. So not ending up with Sakura isn't supposed to be a big deal, or at least that's what we're supposed to think.

He was never truly in love, Hinata is being portrayed as his real first true love. And now there is some scarf and some convenient flashbacks fabricated to fill the void where development from the Manga belongs. Except there's barely any at all to draw from.

And these flashbacks destroy the manga to the point that you begin questioning if this movie truly is canon... I just don't see how it fits with the story considering even the ending depicts Naruto doesn't seem to care that much about Hinata based on his office and his lack of family time.

I mean it will count as canon, but it is so different, so out of place In a series where romance was secondary...that as a fan of Naruto, not as a NaruSaku fan, this movie feels like the black sheep of the series. Too much fan service, creating a new big bad just to be used as a plot device for NaruHina...it doesn't seem like a Naruto movie at all. If you had described all this to me even a year ago, I'd have told you to quit reading bad fanfiction.

The POAL alone destroys utterly any notion of Narutos love being some mere pale crush, or some jealous attempt at a fling for his rivalry with sasuke.

 

Both of the above are selfish reasons for a love, and the POAL is one of the MOST Selfess things one can do for a person.. That willingness to sacrifice your heart for another happiness simply cannot be dismissed as some mere crush.

 

Any attempt to explain ti as otherwise is insulting to the intelligence of any reader with even a shred of common sense.

In that new video after the forehead thing they show NaruSaku's date before Sasuke left.. I can hear them say Naruto and Sakura's names... wondering if there's any NS talk at all in the video? Especially since we see Team 7?

Also I'm pretty sure we will see a close up of the lips regarding the kiss.  The person probably just didnt take a pic of it.

Don't expect any good news about NaruSaku from any interview from now on. The mission has been to sweep NaruSaku under the rug for some time now

Most people who ship NH also ship SS. I've seen more Sakura hate from the NS side of things after she ended up with Sasuke, tbh lol

 

And Sakura only ever loved on person, too. It's not like Hinata is the only character to end up like that. : p

As for liking Hinata, welllll, I'm not going to look at this with shipper goggles on, because that just leads to "omg she has done nothing, evil harlot must dieeee" and completely ignoring the things she did do.

 

Hinata is a lot like Naruto, only on the opposite spectrum. He had no family, and so no one acknowledged him because of what happened with Kurama/his behavior. Hinata had family, but they didn't acknowledge her because of her weakness/behavior. She's the underdog as far as he female cast goes. Naruto inspires her to not give up, and to keep going, despite her flaws. (Sasuke was the reason Sakura wanted to get stronger, and I honestly think Hinata's reasons are much better than Sakura's lol) Hinata was the first person Naruto was open about his true self with, and she's also the first person to acknowledge him/accept him. (I mean, sheesh, sakura needed Sasuke-the-jerk-Uchiha to tell her to knock it the fluff off.)

 

It was Hinata alone that entered the fight against Pain to protect Naruto, and if she hadn't, he'd be dead right now. It was her almost death that spurned him to not give up/broke the seal. It was also Hinata that stopped Naruto from giving into Obito after Neji's death (And it was his choice, he chose to jump in front of Hinata and Naruto. It's not like she threw him in front of them and cackled like some people have made it out to be lol)

 

I realize now that Sakura's journey was not to fall in love with Naruto. It was to accept and acknowledge him. She was never going to stop loving Sasuke, Kishimoto has made that clear. And I don't mind that anymore. They have a beautiful friendship in canon, and if Hinata is the one to make Naruto the happiest, then I will support that. I still won't ship it, but I can see why it's there.
