Uh, we do not change preferences like that. We are not, I repeat, not going to change the whole site and shipping preferences when NaruSaku becomes canon right off the back. We're a Naruto-related website/forum. Changing the site to a whole new series-related will damaged the whole idea Smiter, Hokuten, and the NaruSaku fans before us developed years back. If you guys want other shipping like Natsu X Lucy for example, we have the Otaku thread for that.

The raw version said it clearly" Don't fall for a weird girl". Viz's translation was" Don't fall for the first girl that comes your way". Seriously that doesn't like the original at all. My concern is why couldn't they have follow the raw version instead? I don't want to think that they were been biased and maybe its like inferno said that they thought Naruto got over Sakura after 469. I hope they translate 631 right following the raw version as it should be.

I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't see it as a bad way. I mean Hinata is still technically comes his way, since Naruto is the one going to her. But that's just me.

Well that's discouraging.

I don't know anything about Japanese so I don't know how often Viz mistranslates something but I hope its inaccurate.

No idea. They're similar to MangaStream, being worded for hip crowd. I just wish it's stick to the root. I mean it has the same meaning, but at times, some of their wording makes it seem odd. I understand that they're translating like what teenage people today would say in US, but still, don't fix what's not broke.

Since I started watching Naruto in 2001 I have never seen NH nor SS a threat to NS.

Don't tell me but I have heard a spoiler is leaked though it could be one page only. Find it funny that page 1 for Bleach is explosion and that's it. For Naruto, I didn't see. Plus it's colored. But please no spoiler here and anywhere but Naruto manga discussion thread.

The impression I got was that by the beginning NS was likely to happen then the Land of Waves arc came and it become kind of a stalemate between NS and SS by the end when the Chunnin Exam arc came around (introduced Hinata and a majority if SS moments) I got the impression Kishi was changing his game plan on the pairing but then after Naruto's fight against Gaara I think it went back on track with NS

Though according to Kishi in one of the interviews he apparently never thought about anyone's love interest returning their feelings until around that time when the interview was made.

I don't see it as a stalemate. If anything, the stalemate would be NS and open ending, not SS. Really, SS is a distraction, more so than a threat. If Sakura stays with Sasuke, open ending it is. Let's face it, we're in this deep and nothing has changed from Sasuke to her. This current setup is very telling.
